I’m an 80 yr old lady and I went to see Queen twice Birmingham and Manchester , They we’re just as good in real time as on record What a showman .it was a a fabulous experience 😇
hello, how lucky you were to see them in concert 😮! I wasn't so lucky 😞! I was only between 5 and 15 years old from 1980 to 1990, I was young😅! Moreover with fairly strict parents (no unnecessary expenses), no question of letting me out 😢! it's a band that I particularly like 😍and Freddie will remain in my heart until the end 💖! A+ 💞
My favorite part of your reaction is you realizing you knew Queen without knowing you knew Queen. Loved it!!! They are part of the soundtrack of our lives-young and old.
You just watched one of the greatest rock concerts of all time. The audience was not a Queen audience like everyone has said but, every audience is a Queen Audience! They are truly gifted and those 4 men are magic together. Welcome to loving Queen like hundreds of million of people. ❤
Queen members : Freddie Mercury- lead singer, composer, writer, art degree; Dr. Brian May guitarist who built his guitar, wrote songs, also an astrophysicist; Bassist John Deacon who also wrote songs and has an electrical engineering degree; Drummer is Roger Taylor a song writer with an incredible voice and backed Freddie’s vocals, wrote songs and has a dental degree. These guys were professional musicians who took their job seriously. They made such eclectic music that they are legends since there is something for everyone in their song catalog. Each member wrote a number 1 hit - only band to do so. Try Queen live 1976 Hyde park the song You Take My Breath Away.
Watched Freddie the year after this on the ' it's a kind of magic tour ' , he was one of a kind walking on stage with a crown on his head and a complete showman. It was a privilege to see someone so incredibly unique and the band was so good instrumentally ... a joy to see live. I have been lucky to see artists who are accomplished musicians and singers and who have a connection with their audience, it's an electric vibe. There was limited ticket options, no mobile phones, no flags all over the place, you had to wait in anticipation of the artist coming on stage, no big screens, no gimmicks ..... you share a moment with thousands of other people and the fans and artists make the experience a communal spiritual moment after which you walk away with a smile on your face for hours.
Your reaction was great! You were so right to notice they were REALLY PLAYING & SINGING LIVE! No computers, autotuners, just INCREDIBLE talent & hard work. Such talented, wonderful guys. You have lots of great Queen music to discover...
I love that he honestly knows how much better music and concerts were when I was his age. The movie The Bohemian Rhapsody tells a lot of their story. John and Roger still preform!
@@helenstewart2392 Know you meant Brian and Roger still perform but who would not LOVE John to surprise everyone and together they do one set of song favorites to perform (even if live in the studio, no audience). Realize life has moved on for John...but still sweet thought!
When you realize Queen has all these great songs it is truly great to see someone react to that for the first time. Queen is definitely at the top of the list of the greatest artists of all time
Queen was simply the best band ever, especially live. I love the appreciation you have for queen, their live performances for legendary. Freddie was the best front man ever. Keep enjoying Queen!!!!!!
@@francishughes2016 Queen was definitely better than Led Zeppelin. I think the only band that can ever be put above Queen is the Beatles. The Beatles were objectively the best, there’s no arguing that.
Yeah, I've been to 3 Queen concerts and I was also there at Wembley for Live Aid. Queen was always epic at their live shows, the electricity just radiated from them.
I am so jealous! Haha. Good for you though, especially Live Aid. What fun that must have been. Don't you love the way these kiddos are loving our music. I always watch someone who has never heard of Queen just go nuts for the band. They really are the greatest, I think.
@@lizmoore1133 Hi Liz, you are so right about watching the kiddos, it brings me a lot of joy when I see them blown away just like we were that first time. The concerts were magical, and it was so fun because my husband was just as big a fan as I was.
@@wereleopard58yepihavetwo2 probably so, I'm not sure. It's the one (and I didn't remember this until I watched the doc) where Collins did his set at Wembley and then boarded the Concord and flew to Philadelphia to do a set there. Not quite sure why that was done. I think it sort of bombed though. lol
My favorite part of these reaction videos are when younger people that don’t know and love Queen realize they know and love and love Queen. They’re not a band, they’re an experience
Bless your heart for not realising We Will Rock You was a Queen anthem ♥️ I was 14 when the news broke that Freddie had died, I was in a Chemistry class and cried throughout the entire day! Queen & Freddie were my childhood heroes and I still love them. We had ‘You’re My Best Friend’ at our wedding and I will forever be a devoted fan. So glad you’ve discovered how amazing their legacy is 🎉
I've been to many concerts; 5 Queen concerts, Paul Simon, Peter Frampton, Paul McCartney and Wings, Humble Pie, April Wine, Beach Boys, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Guess Who, so many others, too many to list. The Queen concerts all took place in Toronto, Canada. Freddie was his amazing self, and the rest of the band are incredible backup for his voice. This is a genius group, whose hits are still popular. My 24 year old grandson knows the words to Bohemian Rhapsody, and loves the song!! Queen songs, Beatles songs, Billy Joel, Elton John, these greatest performers are multigenerational. They will be around for decades to come. Freddie's command of the crowd is unrivaled, no one does it better. You are truly witnessing the greatest moment in rock ever recorded. ♥️ How old am I? 68
Freddie had laryngitis the week before this concert and was advised by his doctor to cancel his appearance. He ignored the advice an went on to make rock history. He had far too much class to destroy his guitar, he didn't need to do things like that to keep his audience happy - he entertained with talent, not gimmicks.
In an interview afterwards Freddie said that singing at live aid felt like gargling with glass. So professional that he made it look so effortless and easy. That's talent.
Great reaction to the best band ever! Don’t be worried you know of Queen now & if you go down their rabbit hole you will not be disappointed & your subscriber base will explode with all the Queen army joining up! More Queen please, Somebody To Love live at Montreal is amazing! Great work, love from Australia 🇦🇺
You must keep in mind that the crowd (Live Aid) even didn't know they were coming, because Queen were added to the list when all the tickets were sold out. THIS WAS NOT A QUEEN CROWD BUT STILL THEY STOLE THE SHOW. Freddie commanded the crowd at 2 stadiums simultaneously(Wembley and Philadelphia) and HAD THEM IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND. Queen's performance at Live Aid is voted MOST ICONIC festiwal moment in music history. Check out Fat bottomed girls live at Bowl 82, Under pressue live at Wembley 86, Love of my life Rock in Rio 85
.. yes.. this was not a Queen crowd.. the crowd reacted much as you.. they knew of Queen but didn't really know Queen... fun to watch you react to my era music.. I have a quick write-up on the Led Zeppelin concerts I attended one in 1977 and one in 1996 or 1997? dunno both were a blur; but for different reasons... ha.
That is not true. Watch the documentary "Against All Odds," about Live Aid, and you will see that when Geldof announced which bands would be performing -- BEFORE the tickets went on sale -- he included Queen in that list of bands. It was not a Queen audience in the sense that it was not simply a Queen concert and people would have been buying tickets to see other bands on the bill, and/or because it was such a huge event.
@@bbbfstglad you told it like it was. Not only that, but a lot of bands would not commit until they found out Queen was going to be there. I love this kids reaction!😅❤ Now I really feel old!😂
@@barbaramaxwell908 Imagine how he feels, growing up listening and liking this music completely unaware that it is 46 years old!! He looks young enough to have been born in the 90's, and the music was around 20 yrs before he was born! Wonder what he will think of "Under Pressure?"
I always adore it when anyone has that realization that We Will Rock You is by Queen. I can tell you are passionate about the music! Great job, glad you had fun!
The guitarist is PhD Brian May (no honorary doctorate, he is an astrophysicist and wrote his doctoral thesis there) He built his guitar, the "Red Special", together with his father at the age of 17, using wood from an old fireplace, parts of a moped and a butter knife. He is also an excellent singer with his own songs and has written a lot of Queen's songs as well as the other band members. All 4 have had number one hits. If you look closely you can see that Brian uses 3 different guitars in the song Crazy Little Things Called Love.
There's an interesting vid titled "Queen Guitarist Brian May talks about building the Red Special guitar." He doesn't say anything about a moped or butter knife, but does say; It was built without power tools. The back is from an old table, the neck from a then 100 year old fireplace, dot markers are from his mother's button box & he also used 1 of her old, large knitting needles.
YES - I've been in love with Brian May since age 16... and now I'm 62.. sadly that didn't work out the way I'd have liked.. but I still admire and love Brian for the person he is.. and I don't care .. I find "geriatric Brian" attractive to this day.. lol
@@kendallneason3645 Some extra on the Deacy Amp. At 20, John got his 1st class degree in electronics at Chelsea College, London. 1972, he built the amp, which included parts he found in a dumpster. Brian loved the amp & heavily used it from the 70s-90s. It never failed, nor needed repair. In 1998, Brian agreed to having a replica made & it was opened for the 1st time, but multiple experts couldn’t figure out how it worked. Early 2000s, they even posted pics on the net, hoping another expert could help. Finally, in 2008, Brian gave permission to completely tear it down, after which they were able to build a “close enough” replica to call it a Deacy Amp (I don’t think they ever got it exact). Pretty impressive work, for something built 36 years earlier, by a 21 year old. There are some interesting (though sometime, very technical), articles about it, on the net.
Oh Darling prepare yourself to fall in love with Queen, they are so amazing . Freddie is considered to me the greatest singer of all time. You must check out Somebody to Love live in Montreal 1981, Freddie also sang with. A Famous Opera star, and it is beautiful. Every song is like opening a present at Christmas you never know what you’re going get, they are 4 fabulous musicians Have fun going down the Queen Rabbit hole you will not be disappointed. ❤️❤️
Now I'm really gonna shock you, I saw Queen live in 1975, early in their career and it was insanely great! Queens music is not only fantastic, it's timeless. Check out "White Queen" Odeon Hammersmith 1975 and the songs from The Rainbow Lounge in 1974, yep I'm an oldie, but a goodie and a huge Queen fan. More Queen please and thank you! 👏 PS There are several songs you know that are done by Queen, but you don't know what you don't, yet! I absolutely love watching you soooo, more Queen please! 😁
I also saw them in the late 70’s and Freddie is and always will be the best frontman/ singer EVER!! Freddie put his emotions out there when he sang and you can see it‼️‼️
@@jaclynncocker2137Just saw your reply and absolutely Freddie sang with emotion all the time and you can hear it and feel it in your soul. People like me can watch Freddie and Queen countless times and still can't take your eyes 👀 and 🦻away from him! What's up with that?😅🫶
Thanks dear I loved your Queen reaction! Bohemian Rhapsody movie is beautiful and won 4 Oscars and golden globe and others. A big hug for you and so very welcome to the QUEEN experience! ❤️👑
Brian May (Sir Brian May) on guitar ( a PhD in Astrophysics) Roger Taylor on drums , John Deacon on base. They were all educated and had a love of music. I thank them for that.❤
Queen is special. I saw them live in 1977, 1978 and 1980. If you want to see how magical they were watch Somebody to Love live from Montreal 1981 and Who Wants to live forever Live at Wembley. Also watch any live version of Love of My Life.
I am actually laughing out loud, what a fantastic reaction mate. The first realisation of we will rock you was good The second realisation of we are the champions was absolutely priceless because I was waiting for it hahahaha BRILLIANT
When he left the stage, David Bowie came up to Freddie and said, "You bastard you stole the show how am I supposed to follow that," a sentiment felt by all the performers that day. To this day, only the queen performance is remembered.
At the time of Live Aid I was serving in the British Royal Marine Commandos in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. We listened to it on the radio. We were surrounded by the full horror of the Famine, but when Queen came on the radio those poor soles who were there even reacted in a very positive way. I remember that a lot of us Royal Marine Commandos were crying watching some of the children dancing along, I'm teary eyed just remembering. I looked around at men I had fought alongside, who were tough, hardened Royal Marine Commandos who had fought a life and death war against Argentinian's in 82. By the end of Queen's set we were dancing with the children. It went along way to help build their trust in us. The famine is only one of many terrible memories I have from 35 years of active service, and over 3 years hospitalisation. But when I remember the smiles on the children's faces, and their laughter at the terrible way we danced always reminds me that humanity will always find it's way through even the worst of times. I only watched it for the first time 2 year's ago, my son put it on the TV. A lot of memories came back and a lot of tears. My amazing Wife took me to see Queen at Wembley, U.K., in 1986 two weeks after I got back from Ethiopia as a surprise. I saw Queen live 6 times in all, they were incredible live. And yes, I am an old fart.
Queen were perfectionists and each of them brilliant & dedicated to each other. Very special band. Very special humans. Omg, I'm pretty sure they came straight from heaven to brighten our world!
Doug, I was in that crowd ,6 rows back from the stage. I can see my 32 year old self, just behind the girl on the guys shoulders. I've been to loads of live concerts over the years, but this was definitely the best I ever saw. Still gives me goosebumps when I watch it.
Love your reaction! I love watching younger generations realizing they HAVE heard this band bc songs like we will rock you everyone knows but may not know who it came from. Queen is one of the most sampled bands of all time esp as we will rock you became synonymous with sports. If ur song gers hooked with sports you are SET. But commercials, TV shows, movies, many other artists have all sampled queen and did covers of their repertoire to varying degrees of success.i5s interesting to note you don't see a bunch or pyrotechnics or any stage special effect because freddie WAS a pyrotechnic.
As a 50 year old life long queen fan, your reaction was hillarios. Glad you appreciated the best hand ever created. As a 14 year old boy I saw them live in 1986. Amazing
Great music transcends time.. Queen is timeless.. I’m so very blessed to have been born in early 70’s and lived thru all this great music.. I am happy people like yourself are seeking it out, enjoying it and keeping it alive:)
Listen to Roger Taylor's (drummer) vocals. It's the higher voice you can hear over Freddie's. Freddie had a throat infection, medically advised not to go on, and still killed this, but Roger knew Freddie wasn't able to hit his usual pitch, so he was there to support. Listen again and really tune in to him. They never pan in on him so you never see him in this video, but you will know when you hear it! Especially in "We Are The Champions". Great reaction- love your spirit!
Love love loved your reaction. I discovered Queen after seeing the amazing movie Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018. Fell in love with Freddie and Queen and I’ve never looked back. If you love this performance you should check out their Wembley 86 full concert. It is 🔥. The entire band is so incredibly talented but there is no one like Mr. Freddie Mercury. You just can’t take your eyes off of him. Enjoy your trip down the Queen rabbit hole. I definitely have😊
Brian May is the guitarist. Look him up. The bass player was John Deacon and the drummer was Roger Taylor. All amazing artists. They can all sing, especially Roger Taylor with his high range.
There's a couple of really good documentaries about Queen that you will enjoy if you want to know more about this amazing band. Freddie was born to do this. Brian said from the first time they went on stage, Freddie could hold the audience in the palm of his hand. Check out these documentaries... Freddie Mercury: The King of Queen, The Revival of Queen: Live Aid and the 80s, The Freddie Mercury Story or Queen - The BBC Documentary (excellent). There's also two great docs about Live Aid ... Love Aid - Rocking All Over the World and Live Aid Against All Odds. Both of them are excellent. All of us old Queen fans love it that you kids love them. There will certainly never be another. Enjoy your Queen Trip!
Find another good quality video - this one was cut off, but it deserves to end as powerfully as it did that day. This was BIG, a global benefit concert (multiple venues) to help end famine in Ethiopia. You will find more songs to by Queen than you realize. Folks prowl for genuine reactions like yours, let's the musical moment be fresh all over again. Check them out in the 70s (Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow); Watch the documentary "Queen Days of our Lives" before you watch the the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody (which takes some dramatic license) but introduced Queen to a new generation). Every genre of song they touch had the Queen sound.
Listening to a Queen song and recognizing it is normal. Queen's music is used in Movies, TV shows, Adverts (commercials), and at sporting events. "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" was written by Freddie as an homage to Elvis Presley shortly after his death. "We Will Rock You" was written by Brian May as a song intended for crowd participation. "We are the Champions" was written by Freddie. the other song you will possibly recognize is "Another One Bites The Dust" written by John Deacon (Queen's biggest selling single)
I have been following Queen since the early 1970s. In 2025 Bohemian Rhapsody will be 50 years old. I went to 6-7 Queen Concerts and they were all brilliant! I loved your reactions, well done. 👏👏👏👏
All of Queen is very talented men they are so unike and Freddie the best singer and performer of all time. Queen is the champions. I grew UP in the 80 so meany wonderful memories of music.
You were great. Legendary Queen always comes on stage to ENTERTAIN and not one of them will let fans down! Here Roger on Drums back Freddie's lead vocals and Brian on guitar also. Even Deaky on Bass helped back up this day. They rehearsed their set - giving the world perfection. Love it! The best was watching you 'crash'' hearing We Are The Champions LOL Thank you...fun!
Thanks for watching Doug!! I was 25 yrs old then!! 😯😯. Sadly didn't go to the concert, but had the opportunity to see it on tv - it looked REALLY good too!! Such a LONNG time ago but Freddie was sensationally superb, also lead guitarist, Brian May, John Deacon, bass guitarist & the amazing drummer, Roger Taylor!! 💝💝💝💝💝
Queen was the best part of my childhood music. We grew up in the best era the 70’s through the 80’s. if Freddie Mercury was still alive they’d still be pumping out the hits.
"They got some hits!" - they really did. This was them cramming huge songs from a decade of awesome hits, between 1975 and 1984, into a single 20minute set to prove that they really were the champions. They rehearsed the show to perfection and stole the show completely. They were also incredible in the studio, pushing the technology of the 70s to the absolute limit to create some of their hits. Also, their albums at the start of their career all said "No synthesisers" to prove they were live instruments.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love was an homage to Elvis. For a long time I thought it was his song, but Freddie wrote it. That might be why it’s so familiar if you never heard Queen’s version before.
I love your reaction...and subscribed. I recently saw Roger Taylor (Queen's drummer) interviewed. He said the acoustics...the sound on that stage was just horrible and they couldn't hear eachother at all!!! He said it was scarey. They did that concert by communicating with eye contact, body language and playing from memory! and it was flawless...a perfect performance!
I love your honesty, hey we are all learning all the time my friend. You are a young person and I think you're amazing for watching this concert and appreciating it. Love from Scotland.
I'm 57 and this man was the greatest. And for those that don't know this the crowd were around 72 thousand plus an audience of 1.9billlion global. A legend missed x
“THIS IS THEIR SONG?! I’m such a kid. I gotta do better” just got you a sun outta me. Lmao. Awesome. You’re doing great. Nothing wrong with learning now… better now than never. Great reaction.
I saw Queen in Dallas; I'll never regret going. They were a class act, and Freddie was a lot of fun. Every time there was a little break, he would come out in a different colored costume.
Freddie was always energetic, he pumped up the audiences and they in turn fed him their energy. In a kind of feedback loop. He was called the best Live performer for a reason
One unique and amazing thing about Freddie is HOW MUCH he loved his fans. He had so much love for the people. And lord knows the feeling was mutual. Freddie is the ONLY ARTIST who can get a crowd going decades after he left this earth. Check out the GreenDay concert where they played Rhapsody over the speakers while the crowd was waiting for the band. It’ll make you cry.
I was feeling a little down today, so I do the thing that always cheers me up-watch young folks watch Queen at Live Aid. It’s always a wonderful thing to see the next generation discover Queen and why this particular set was so magical. I was not disappointed! Rip Freddie darling. Your absence is noticeable.
Freddie was asked what his favorite instrument to play was. His answer….the audience!🤣🤣🤣 I love watching the younger generations when they realize that we will rock you and we are the champions are queen. Bohemian rhapsody is the movie your looking for if you haven’t seen it yet. Great reaction my man!!! Great reaction! Oh, I forgot to mention that long “aaaahhhhhooooo!” Is known as the note heard around the world.
The movie 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is a biopic of how Queen formed and their journey to this concert. The ending is a bit fictitious, as Freddie didn't know he had AIDS at the time of the concert (although he had a throat infection on the day), and the bit about the band getting back together wasn't just in the lead up to Live Aid, nor purely for that. They had already made up and were already back in the studio together long before Live Aid.
Freddie was the absolute best front man in rock history. The rest of the band is extraordinary. Nobody will ever touch Queen in rock history. RIP Freddie……your life was short…..but you earned your wings.
I belong to a generation that was fortunate enough to attend this and other fabulous concerts. Those who lived these experiences will never forget them.
Queen never disappoints, there's something for everyone because their music spans every genre. They were innovative and influential, ahead of their time and timeless all rolled into one. Check out Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow and you'll see how they influenced speed metal and rap music all in one short song. Another really great song that shows his incredible crowd interaction is Under Pressure live at Wembley 86. Enjoy your journey into Queen.
Not to sure about ahead of there time comparing general rubbish music today. They were at a time of great music and influence s. They ended up being the best at it
Love your reaction. I get so excited and laugh very hard when these kids get to the final two songs of the LIFE AID CONCERT and realize that they know those songs. Their faces, when finally realize that the band they were hearing in the video is the band that created maybe the most famous anthems of the modern world - We Will Rock You and We Are the Champion- I see their young faces lit in disbelief because finally, they can put faces and names two those songs. And are mesmerized by the discovery. I enjoy that moment so much. Yes. Queen is the legend.
I went to this one. Granted I was in Philadelphia watching the other half of the show lives, but I witnessed this one the jumbotron. That bit where Freddie got the crowd to clap in time with the song, we did that too on the other side of the ocean. That's how charismatic Freddie Mercury.
This concert went 14 hours, from London and Philadelphia- watch more bands…it’s the most magical day in music- ever.1985 Live Aid….you’ll see…it’s unbelievable ❤️welcome to the party - rockn roll never ends…keep listening and listening….🎶🎶
72,0000 people at Wembley, another 100,000 in Philadelphia, and 1,2 billion watching on TV globally. The Olympics have 3 satellites...Live Aid had 13. I wasn't a Queen fan at all, but after that day..I was lol! The world for Africa! I remember it was very hot that day in Wembley Stadium July 13th 1985 but it was worth it, best day in my life! 👏👏🇳🇱
When they came out with A Night At The Opera in 1975, we were blown away. I also remember one day it was announced he was ill and next day Freddie was gone. That was in 1991. I tried to watch the movie they did of Bohemian Rhapsody but almost immediately turned off as I saw it was Hollyweird’s version. RIP Freddie
I'll never forget hearing Bohemian Rhapsody the first time on Top of the Pops in what '74/'75. They used to play Queen at my Infants school, I Want to Ride My Bicycle and Fat Bottomed Girls. When I left home I found their albums and like most people, never looked back. Queen was a real band, they loved each other, and we loved them. They can't be surpassed Live, they were electric...
Im72 years young. Grew up on Long Island, NY Saw all the great bands/ concerts in NYC! So very sorry you haven’t experienced a live concert. Trust me my brother, you will in the future! ❤
One of the greatest live bands ever. They are masterful as a group. You must watch Queen live at Wembley. The full concert. It was the year following this short show. It was iconic!
Honestly, you'd be better off watching documentaries if you want to know about Queen. The movie was ok but mostly for the sound track. They took so many liberties with the truth and the timelines in the movie that it's as much fiction as fact.
I never went to a Queen concert but did see the Beatles in their 1st Hollywood Bowl concert and also a few years later, Elton John at the Hollywood Bowl. Also have seen Bob Dylan several times, Rod Stewart in concert, Gordon Lightfoot, Joanie Mitchell and a lot of others over the years. I'd give all up to have seen Queen in just one concert. I did watch Live Aid on TV that day. It was live in the UK and also in the US. Also, be sure to watch not only their official songs but also concerts. Queen in the 70s was amazing. Great songs.
Queen - best rock band ever. Freddie Mercury - best vocalist and best entertainer .... ever. RIP dear Freddy. You will always be remembered. Welcome to the wonderful world of the band Queen.
Was this where Phil Collins made a mistake in the piano grinned and carried on. I think it was against all odds.
@@wereleopard58yepihavetwo2 probably so, I'm not sure. It's the one (and I didn't remember this until I watched the doc) where Collins did his set at Wembley and then boarded the Concord and flew to Philadelphia to do a set there. Not quite sure why that was done. I think it sort of bombed though. lol
You're so lucky!!! I was an 80's girl myself and been to many concerts but never Queen 😭. I regret that.
He wore a simple beater, blue jeans & a DIAMOND STUDDED arm band!! 🥰
I love this kids reaction!😅❤ Now I really feel old!😂
@@jackskass8197 Ha ha ha!!
I find "geriatric Brian" attractive to this day.. lol
Also John Deacon made his own amp the Deacy. 😊
Just another fact that takes their music up a level above the rest.
I don't think anyone at Wembley enjoyed that day more than Freddie.
What a legend.
What's up with that?😅🫶
I was at that concert...Freddie smashed it 👊
I bet it was way better in person
Thanks dear I loved your Queen reaction! Bohemian Rhapsody movie is beautiful and won 4 Oscars and golden globe and others. A big hug for you and so very welcome to the QUEEN experience! ❤️👑
Brian May (Sir Brian May) on guitar ( a PhD in Astrophysics) Roger Taylor on drums , John Deacon on base. They were all educated and had a love of music. I thank them for that.❤
There will NEVER be another Freddie or Queen. He commanded any stage he was on. This has been called the best 20 minutes in Rock. I agree❤❤❤❤
The first realisation of we will rock you was good
The second realisation of we are the champions was absolutely priceless because I was waiting for it hahahaha
BRILLIANT
I grew up in Miami. 70's and 80's. Got a box full of concert stubs....
Those where the Days.. .
When he left the stage, David Bowie came up to Freddie and said, "You bastard you stole the show how am I supposed to follow that," a sentiment felt by all the performers that day.
To this day, only the queen performance is remembered.
Whenever life gets you down, listen to Queen... they will soothe your soul!
They’re feeling the music, I’m feeling too. I’m old, don’t let that put you of Queen and Freddie are all amazing.!
I definitely have😊
1.5 billion people saw this all over the world. Beloved Freddie i have been a fan for 48 years im 79
You are absolutely right, this was real classic rock!! Still gives me chills to watch, and like that a new generation sees Queen!!
Epic! Queen killed it that day! And Sir Mercury...God bless you, and your voice! Thank you SO much, Queen! ❤
Great reaction to the greatest band ever ! Thx . More Queen please!
If you want to get into another Queen song, "Love of my life" is really good. Just Brian May on guitar and Freddie singing. Absolutely amazing!
We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions were both recorded and released in 1977.
Favorite line: ‘I’m such a little kid!’ 😂
Great reaction! They also did Another one bites the dust which you might know.
Great reaction.
we will rock you and we are the champions , right now you know who the singer 😙😙😙😙
Saw them 3 times in the 70s. Nothing like it. Always will be the best!!!
Their faces, when finally realize that the band they were hearing in the video is the band that created maybe the most famous anthems of the modern world - We Will Rock You and We Are the Champion-
I see their young faces lit in disbelief because finally, they can put faces and names two those songs.
And are mesmerized by the discovery. I enjoy that moment so much.
Yes. Queen is the legend.
70’s & 80’s had THE GREATEST music!! Pure raw talent!! 🎶😍
Not only a singer, he was an accomplished pianist too. Not well known for his guitar work, but he could play rhythm chords.
RIP Freddie
Yes Queen were behind these songs that everyone knows
The crowd certainly enjoyed it
Yes pure raw talent !
You have nothing to be sorry for. I’m just happy to see your enthusiastic joy.
I love the surprise, when you realize you do know Queen! 🌎✌️
The greatest frontman to ever Grace a stage. The crowd control was nothing short of magical.
Im72 years young. Grew up on Long Island, NY Saw all the great bands/ concerts in NYC! So very sorry you haven’t experienced a live concert. Trust me my brother, you will in the future! ❤
I was there ! I saw Queen five times with Freddie! I'm so lucky x
One of the greatest live bands ever. They are masterful as a group. You must watch Queen live at Wembley. The full concert. It was the year following this short show. It was iconic!
LOVED watching your reaction to the song "We will rock you."
Don't be embarrassed.
We couldnt have that many people in one place with no fights, no guns, etc.. Just respect, joy and the best experiences!!!
Their studio work is genius, but live...they were on fire! Freddie was MUSIC!
Movie about Queen is Bohemian Rhapsody
He had every single person eating out the palm of his hand. We lost a great musician when he did. 💔🤷♀️🙏❤️🇬🇧
On the radio, they will ALWAYS play "We are the champions" after playing "We will rock you." Without fail. Two separate songs, always heard together.
Queen - best rock band ever. Freddie Mercury - best vocalist and best entertainer .... ever. RIP dear Freddy. You will always be remembered. Welcome to the wonderful world of the band Queen. All 4 were master muscians and all 4 were amazing songwriters and each wrote a #1 hit song. Freddy Mercury - lead vocalist and master showman, Brian May - lead guitar, John Deacon - bass and Roger Taylor - drums. It will take you a very long time to work your way through their 20 years of music. Just remember - they are always best when you watch them live. Best concerts ever !!!!
