72,000 at Wembley, another 100,000 in a satellite feed in Philadelphia, 1.2 billion televised globally all willingly followed Freddie wherever he lead them. He was a master at crowd control. He will go down in history as the best male vocalist, and the best front man of the best rock band. All four were legends. Rest In Paradise beautiful Freddie ♥️🎤🕯️🥁🎸👑
I fell in love with Queen at age 11 in 1975 when the Night at the Opera album came out. My parents got it for me because they thought it was actually opera for kids. :-) Last year, my grandson turned 11 and I introduced him to Bohemian Rhapsody. My daughter and I started singing it and did the entire six minutes. I told my grandson there are some things everyone needs to know to get through life: Basic cooking, keeping track of your finances, singing Bohemian Rhapsody all the way through... You know, the important things.
It's thanks to parents like yourself teaching the kids to sing it that it remains alive and proof is seen of this when the crowd sing it before the Green Day Concert 😀 For people who've never seen it search for Green Day Bohemian Rhapsody. It's inspiring.
@@bignose8614 Yes, definitely worth watching! I probably shouldn't admit how many times I've watched, but I can tell you the crowd rushes at "I see a little silhouetto..." Freddie gets them back on the beat, however. 🙂
At the time of Live Aid I was serving in the British Royal Marine Commandos in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. We listened to it on the radio. We were surrounded by the full horror of the Famine, but when Queen came on the radio those poor soles who were there even reacted in a very positive way. I remember that a lot of us Royal Marine Commandos were crying watching some of the children dancing along, I'm teary eyed just remembering. I looked around at men I had fought alongside, who were tough, hardened Royal Marine Commandos who had fought a life and death war against Argentinian's in 82. By the end of Queen's set we were dancing with the children. It went along way to help build their trust in us. The famine is only one of many terrible memories I have from 35 years of active service, and over 3 years hospitalisation. But when I remember the smiles on the children's faces, and their laughter at the terrible way we danced always reminds me that humanity will always find it's way through even the worst of times. I only watched it for the first time 2 year's ago, my son put it on the TV. A lot of memories came back and a lot of tears. My amazing Wife took me to see Queen at Wembley, U.K., in 1986 two weeks after I got back from Ethiopia as a surprise. I saw Queen live 6 times in all, they were incredible live. And yes, I am an old fart.
I was at Wembley for Live Aid and Queen were added on the list last minute. Yet they were easily the best act and I remember paper headlines next day were going mental about Queen but especially about Freddie...his crowd control was absolutely astonishing. Privileged to have been there.. thanks for this.
Freddie was diagnosed with laryngitis a week before and advised to pull out of live aid, he didn’t and went on to steal the show, David Bowie was on after and he reportedly said how am I supposed to follow that ! I sat and watched live aid on the day and until Queen sang the money was just not coming in quick enough, after they sang the fones rang off the hook, the best live performance ever imo ❤❤❤
Freddie was told by his doctor not to sing because of his throat problems so the band picked up Freddie’s high vocals and he went down a little bit. No auto tune when Queen sings!!♥️♥️♥️ My first time watching you and what I look for is the first smile before they’ve even done anything❣️You had that smile as all us Queenies do‼️❤❤
No one expected to see Queen there. They hadn't been performing, or doing an album. They had nothing to promote. Everyone thought they were breaking up, or had broken up. The headliners were there to promote their new stuff, which no one had heard, or loved. So at this LIVE concert, simultaneously broadcast to over a BILLION people, which was designed to bring the world together to help Africa, Queen took the stage and played their greatest hits. We all knew the words and for a moment, over a billion people sang in unison.
I heard Bob Geldof say that when they played radio gaga the donations starting flying in.where they had been sluggish b4. The whole clapping really got people, even at home, Really excited! ❤
Even if he had a bad throat first time I saw this performance (in UA-cam 😂) I didn't notice it but I did notice that voice crack in the "Face the truuuuuuth" but still with a bad throat man was killing it one of the best voices in rock n roll History and the best frontman
You must keep in mind that the crowd (Live Aid) even didn't know they were coming, because Queen were added to the list when all the tickets were sold out. THIS WAS NOT A QUEEN CROWD BUT STILL THEY STOLE THE SHOW. Freddie commanded the crowd at 2 stadiums simultaneously (Wembley and Philadelphia) and HAD THEM IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND. Queen's performance at Live Aid is voted MOST ICONIC festiwal moment in music history. BTW Radio Ga Ga = Lady Gaga ,she is a huge Queen fan
"For 20 minutes another Queen ruled England" and the world. Radio Gaga was the song that inspired Lady Gaga's stage name. And yes, according to a group of music industry experts, he was voted the best male rock vocalist of all time. In this 20 minute set at Live Aid, they barely scratched the surface of their long list of hits. And there were some cuts in your video.
Bohemian Rhapsody Radio Ga Ga Hammer to fall Crazy little thing called love We will rock you We are the champions Great reaction! Love to watch the younger generations who don’t know Queen come to the realization that they know Queen!🤣🤣
It’s awesome isn’t it ❤ I tear up every time I watch this. But I LOVE watching others get blown away when they see this particular performance. The legend lives on and on and on. Each member of the band was individually brilliant. Together - no words.
we watched live and still did the hand claps. There was all 10 in our close group all day for every act... Queen blew everyone away.. its a pity that todays Generation will never see this repeated
Nobody had seen it before, and no one will witness it again. It was the historic moment in music history. The final Beetles concert on top of the roof was epic in its own right, but not with this sized crowd by any means.
I was one of the 72,000, and luckily very near the stage. I've never known an atmosphere like that, and I've been to a lot of live concerts. I can honestly say that Queen, that night in particular are the best I've experienced.
This was a definite “where were you during live aid” moment. Even my old fashioned dad had it on the tv all day for us kids. It was a world wide event.
One fourth of the greatest Band of all time , along with John , Brian, and Roger 😉 There are several Queen songs that are in constant use in commercials and movies , Queen will always be around !
It always makes me smile when he is singing Bohemian Rhapsody and blows a kiss. He told his mom before the concert to watch and he will blow her a kiss💜
I was very fortunate to see Queen in July of 1982 at the Oakland Coliseum. I was fourteen and was absolutely stunned. It turned out to be one of the very last concerts Queen played in the United States. My mom was extremely gifted musically and with her encouragement I started playing guitar that same year. By the time Live Aid came around we watched it together. Phenomenal! Then we cried and laughed when we watched the Freddie Mercury tribute concert.....which was incredible! Five years later my mom died at the tender age of 54 (which is my age now), five months before her first grandson, my son, was born. Appropriately, I named him Brian after Brian May.
Live Aid was 16 hours of all the biggest artists of that time and you just watched the best 20 minutes of it! Love your reactions, it's always great to see that moment of recognition on people's faces when they realize they've heard Queen songs all their lives and never knew who it was. Nobody could rock the house like Freddie, he could connect with every single person in the crowd from the front row to those all the way in the back rafter seats and had them in the palm of his hand....Aye Oh! gave them a chance to show him how much they loved him 👑 you should check out "One Vision" and "Now I'm here" both live at Wembley.
Freddie was able to use faster vibrato and do harmonics on a four octave range that no other singer has ever been able to do. Scientists that studied his voice said it was because he used other parts of his throat including the extra “false” vocal chords in human throats. Also he had a wider jaw than most people. That voice combined with his charisma made him able to spellbind listeners. Luckily he hooked up with 3 other members who were professional musical artists who could all write versatile songs. The greatest voice with the greatest musicians created magic that has never been duplicated.
Doesn't it make sense in hindsight that We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are Queen songs? I mean, who else could have sung those songs??? Of course it was Freddie Mercury 😌
Hi Slick, LOVED the expression on your face when Freddie did his improv... he was known to do this at all their concerts. They believed in incorporating the audiences into their music, thus so many anthem songs like "We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions" and "Love of My Life"... (Old) Wembley Stadium held 80K people, BUT you have to realize this was a benefit concert broadcast worldwide on television and radio stations to an estimated 2 billion or approximately 40% of the world's population at the time. "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" was written by Freddie while in the bathtub one night, took about ten minutes to write and dedicated it to one of his favorite singers, Elvis. Radio Gaga was a tribute to the media that made QUEEN a household name, thanks to Kenny Chesney and "Bohemian Rhapsody"... you might know "Another One Bites the Dust", another 'anthem' song... many of us Queenie's grew up on Queen classics... including Lady Gaga, which took her name from the song... hope you enjoyed the concert. Also, they performed another song in the evening to close the show called "Is This the World We Created?"... They only had 20 minutes on stage, so they did have to cut some songs short, and yes, that was a bad video, cut out too soon.... thanks for the reaction, really enjoyed it and subbed anticipating more... recommendations?? Nah, if it's QUEEN it's all good!! Blessings to you and yours.
No elaborate light show, no costumes or background dancers... just four masterful musicians getting 1000's upon 1000's of people and the entire world to blow their top. I was lucky enough to see Queen perform and not a single frontman before or since has done it for me the way Freddie did. Gone too soon but never forgotten.
You were 5 years away from being born and I watched that show when it aired, yep I'm old, haha. Freddie has been and will always be in my heart. He is a FABULOUS singer and all the band fabulous musicians and song writers. They honour him to this day. There are not many songs out there that are iconic and most of them belong to these boys. Glad you loved it as much as I have. And I watch this concert many times for a "Freddie Fix". :o)
Loved your reaction. The facial expressions were fabulous, I had to laugh cause I knew what was coming! 😆 Freddie had a wicked throat infection and his Doctor adviced he not preform as he took a huge risk of stripping his vocal cords. It didn't matter to Freddie cause he couldn't and wouldn't let down his fans. BEST SHOW EVER. QUEEN 4EVER, FREDDIE MERCURY RIP 11/24/1991 ❤🌹❤🌹❤
@@slickgaming810 I'm 63 and have loved Freddie from the moment I saw him. I sure do miss him. He'd be 75 had he lived. It was my pleasure to watch you! Keep 'em coming.
22 minutes of pure joy and arguably the best live set ever performed . 72,000 ! Yea right more like 100,000 . Old Wembley seating capacity was 82,000 , stage set aside no way was it only 72,000. Radio Ga ga live dos t get any better .🎉 Glad you liked it .
HEY Slick, Did you know that Queen RELEASED A NEW SONG last week? (YESSS, with Freddie’s vocals!) “FACE IT ALONE” (The song had been one of their unfinished demos from 1988-89 sessions for The Miracle album. On the original live demo recording, you can’t hear Freddie’s vocals very well cuz they’re “buried” in the live instrumentation… Queen’s engineers were able to “pull out” Fred’s vocals so they’re CRYSTAL.) In the song’s first day out, it went to Number 1 on ITunes… in 22 COUNTRIES. In the five days since its release, it’s been viewed on YT almost 7 million times.🖖
Lol of course you need to react, that's what it's about. As a fan since 1974 I'm so glad to see people reacting to my favorite group. Freddie was told by his Dr. not to perform because he had a horrible throat infection , but he went out and Queen stole the show. One music critic said, Freddie was like a beautiful strutting peacock. 😊😊 78,000 in England, approximately 100,000 in America and 1.9 billion on TV satellite hookup. Crazy Little Thing Called Love was written by Freddie as a dedication to Elvis. For some reason it just cut, it's that particular video. Great reaction
Reality right there, how many people can name another band & the set they played during Live Aid. They're not dominating UA-cam, that's for sure... Freddie is, still, 40 years later.
Love love loved this reaction, have seen it many times & it still thrills! Apart from being superb musicians the band all had degree’s! Freddie had a Diploma in design, Brian May has a Phd in Astrophysics & has worked with NASA, Roger( drummer) a degree in Biology & studied Dentristry, & bass player John Deacon a degree in Electronics & built the Deaky Amp that Brian still uses today! All 4 wrote at least No 1 hits! More Queen pls,Love of Life of My Life live at Montreal is sensational! Queen were always better live! Thx for this, love from Australia 🇦🇺
@@slickgaming810 did you know Freddie was feeling bad on that day (live aid) his doctors begged him not to sing I think Freddie's words to his doctors was f... off we are playing
you think that is a lot of people... watch Love of my life from rock in Rio. It was a 2 day concert with over 1.5 million in those 2 days and it was estimated that a quarter of a million people were there for that song. Talk about crowd control Freddie had all 250,000 of them singing his song to him and they were not an English speaking crowd. They spoke Portuguese there in Brazil.
You've been hearing Queen's music you're whole life , you just didn't know it. When you dive in you will probably say "I didn't know this was a Queen song" a lot.
I’m sorry the end cut out like that. There are other YT videos of Queen Live Aid that do not cut off, in case you want to watch the whole thing. but you didn’t miss much. They finish We are the Champions and then all the band members come to the end of the stage to bow and that is where it cut to. At the very end it gave a different time on the screen 9:48. After all the other acts performed. Freddie and Brian came back on stage to sing “Is this the world we created” you can search for it. I’ve seen other reactors watch it.
Loving Freddie is an understatement. Queen are the best live performers I have ever seen. You should watch in the lap of the gods hammersmith odeon 1975 its Freddie at his prime.
I watched Live Aid on TV in 1985 & still remember how blown away I was by Freddie's & the band's performance. I had chills, goosebumps, smiles & tears watching it live. And to this day - 38 years later - I still get those same chills, goosebumps, smiles & tears every time I watch a video of that performance. Freddie was the GOAT & Queen's domination at Live Aid was the greatest 20 minutes of live music in the history of rock. 👍👍
I was there ! An early 21st Birthday present to myself. Freddie’s Doctor advised him not to perform as he was suffering with a throat and chest infection … you’d hardly know from that performance. Apparently one of the Queen management team got in to the sound booth a pushed the volume up past the authorised noise limit for their set 😂
An excellent example of Freddie's capabilities are the "Call and Respnse" and the improv. called "IMPROMPTU" both at 1986 Wembley concert. That entire concert is available on UA-cam and on DVD. Every moment is worth watching and reviewing. It is a master class in musicianship from all 4 members working together as one amazing band. There is an encore at Live Aid with zFreddie and Brian "Is This The World We Created" Beautifully performed. It is also available from 1986 Wembley Magic Tour concert
I remember this consert one tv here in Norway Bohemian rapsody, radio ga ga, hammer to fall, we will rock you, we are the champions crazy litle thing called love. I grew UP with Queens music and im glad i did Queen forever yeah Freddie was so unike he was simpley the best performer and singer of all time missed him greatings from norway 🇸🇯🌹👑👍
Each act had a 20 minute set. A lot of the other performers played their current songs to promote their albums and didn’t take advantage of the time. Queen took it seriously and spent a week or so putting their playlist together and they had giant clocks in front of them so they could practice and pack as much in as they could in 20 minutes. It also helped that the sound guy worked for Queen and tweaked it so that Queen was louder than everyone else. By the middle of the set, the other acts backstage started to watch them on the monitors and realized that Queen was stealing the show and basically kicked everyone’s ass and they knew it!! Brian May (guitarist) said that they had an advantage because they’d been playing stadiums for years and Freddie knew how to get the crowd involved. Many people say it’s the best live performance. Also, because the stage was pretty basic due to all the different artists, critics didn’t think Queen would pull it off because their shows are typically a huge production with lighting etc. and again Queen shut down the critics proving that they can put on a great show with just the four of them. David Bowie who was a big star back then was the next act in the lineup and was quoted in an interview later that backstage he was saying how was he supposed to follow that. But he said it more colorfully. Elton John was quoted as saying 'Freddie, nobody should go on after you - you were magnificent. ' Freddie said: 'You're absolutely right, darling, we were - we killed them.
Agree with everything you say, except that it was "just the four of them'". I read that Spike, the keyboard player who is still with them, played piano onstage during their set, but wasn't filmed...?
Bob Geldof realized there was magic happening when he saw the audience react to Lady Gaga. About the same time someone said "they've done it the bastards! They've stolen the show!". Indeed.
Bowie put on a hell of a show himself. You couldn't match Queen. But he was Bowie. In 1985 he was probably the biggest star in the world. He did the very best he could, which was absolutely great by any normal standards (seriously, the videos are out there; it's a good show). And no-one remembers it, and nor should they.
Others have said some of the most important things about the concert, but as a frequent Reaction viewer (and Queenie), you do you on your own channel. You will get those who love you and those who don't. Ask Queen! They had the exact same "problem!" If YOU are comfortable, your channel's viewers will be. Most of all, have FUN!
I tear up every time hearing Freddy sing we are the Champions here. He got back together with the band for this concert, knowing he had AIDS and it was a death sentence at that time. It was his goodbye to the fans.
Yes the video cut out the end of CHAMPIONS and also cut was when Feddie and Brian May (guitarist) came back out because one of the performers couldn't come on and Freddie sang 2-3 more songs, it was beautiful!!!
Freddie was able to give this magnificent performance even though he had laryngitis the week before and was advised by his doctor to cancel his appearance. Queen is one of the few rock bands that sounds as good if not better live than recordings done in a studio. Wembley stadium holds 72 thousand when they're having sporting events, so if the permanent seats are all filled and the infield is packed, there have to be close to 100 thousand there. Another video you might enjoy is called "The Story of Queen at Live Aid". It's not terribly long and has some great interviews. Jer and Bomi Bulsara went to most of Freddie Mercury’s concerts. But not Live Aid, on July 13, 1985, when their son, quite literally, rocked the world. In order, the songs are a shortened version of Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Gaga, Hammer to Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions. Freddie wrote the song "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" in about 10 minutes while he was taking a bath. It was a tribute of sorts to Elvis. They had to do shortened versions of two of their songs because each group performing was only allowed 20 minutes. No, it was not supposed to skip at the end, probably a computer error.
I just love Queen/Freddie Mercury. He is the best male vocalist. Queen will be listened to 100 years from, that is how iconic they are. So the song list is: Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio GaGa, Hammer to Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You and We are the Champions. If you want to see crowd control may I suggest you watch Under Pressure Live at Wembley -- the 5:56 minute version. Truly amazing. I'm sure you heard this song. Also Another One Bites the Dust live at Wembley. Iconic songs. They have so many songs that are awesome, Don't Stop me Now is another one. Glad you enjoy Queen. I love your reactions.
PS: and NO, that 'should not have happened' during the end of 'We Are The Champions'!!! Yes, it was the particular video you displayed. The 9:48 p.m. song was Freddie and Brian's song "Is This The World We Created". Your reaction--both visuals and commentary is sooo good! Thank you 🙂
I've seen that cut at the end on some other reaction videos. Obviously there's a bad copy of the video out that somewhere. That said, you didn't miss much more than a few seconds of the end of "We Are The Champions."
Thanks, Slick! What a great performance, right? You are not alone in not knowing how much "Queen" you actually know.. that is why the legend goes on... when you didn't know it was them, you wouldn't have paid attention to the details like Freddie's voice & Brian's guitar.... you probably heard those songs in loud venues... yes, for some reason the end cut out on you.. but you really should also see the "encore" that Freddie & Brian did solo later on... ua-cam.com/video/riwDo7_GxjM/v-deo.html
I love this concert and have seen it so many times, still I am not tired of it. Each time I watch it, I feel like I am right there in the audience. Your channel, your choices. Nobody is forced to watch your channel. Just don't pause in the middle of a Brian May guitar solo, that will get Queen Army hate raining down on you in a big way. This is old Wembley Stadium and it holds 72,000 people but I have heard with the field standing instead of seated it is 80,000. I have heard both figures for this show. Thank you for your reaction. Track List: Bohemian Rhapsody (truncated), Radio Ga-Ga, Call and Response (Ay-Oh), Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions. No, it doesn't end like that, it is something wrong with the download, I have heard this happen to others before, too.
1 - Bohemian Rhapsody, 2 - Radio Ga Ga, 3 - Ay O, 4 - Hammer To Fall, 5 - Crazy Little Thing Called Love, 6 - We Will Rock You, 7 - We Are The Champions. 😊. Btw… he had a throat infection while doing this performance!
72,000 people at Wembley. No sound check before going on, and the crowd were not all Queen fans (lots of other acts performing on the day) yet Freddie Mercury commanded them all! Freddie had a throat infection that day and was advised by doctors not to perform...and he STILL nailed it!! Queen stole the entire show!! And as for the guitarist...not bad for a home made instrument!!
Anyone who performed after Queen was likely left in awe and probably wanted to pack up and go home! This was the definition of showmanship and ROCKING OUT!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Queen played huge football stadiums previously to this concert. So they were supreme specialist at these type of concerts. And still are with Adam Lambert. Freddie had the ability to command a whole audience just by raising his hand to get people to stand.
Queen was added late to the roster,...the fans who bought tickets, bought for those who were already signed up,...and then sold out before Queen was signed up. Funny,...when Queen came on stage ...all you could see were Queen fans!
check out "Love of My Life in Sao Paulo, Brazil 1981" this one has the best, over the top reactions. Any of the love of my life videos are wonderful...but to hear portuguese speaking fans sing in english TO BE HEARD! is quite formidable! They LOVED this song...
And remember, this wasn't even a Queen fan crowd, just a general audience for Live Aid. Just shows the power of the man, bless him.
Like that one time the crowd sang bohemian rhapsody at the Green Day concert… raising the crowd in his grave
No auto tune. No backing track. Pure magic. Makes you emotional now as it did that night.

(Wembley and Philadelphia) and HAD THEM IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND. Queen's performance at Live Aid is voted MOST ICONIC festiwal moment in music history.
BTW Radio Ga Ga = Lady Gaga ,she is a huge Queen fan
They're all his fans in the audience queen turned up the sound for this performance more than allowed
Awesomeness!
Bohemian Rhapsody
Radio Ga Ga
Hammer to fall
Crazy little thing called love
We will rock you
We are the champions
Great reaction!
One fourth of the greatest Band of all time , along with John , Brian, and Roger 😉
There are several Queen songs that are in constant use in commercials and movies , Queen will always be around !
Freddie wasn't a Rockstar, he was THE Rockstar .. period
He is a legend.
It always makes me smile when he is singing Bohemian Rhapsody and blows a kiss. He told his mom before the concert to watch and he will blow her a kiss💜
"Is the greatest singer of all time?" Yes, yes it is
Remember at 12 years old discovering my dads queen vinyl albums, been a mega fan ever since! 🙌 utter legends.
I love it when people see this for the first time! Thanks for the great reaction! I can't count the times I've watched this. Love Queen! ♡♡♡
Thank you for watching I appreciate you! I’ll definitely check those out!
And there is still Under Pressure - you may not know the song, but you will know the bass line, and you get David Bowie.
@@pureholy the only reason I didn't mention "Under Pressure" was that someone else already suggested it. 😊
One Vision live @ Wembley '86 possibly tha greatest opening to a show in history 💯
Love One Vision!!
Elton John sitting back stage said Queen just stole the show!
My doughter knows this when she Was 5 years Old!!!!
Live Aid was broadcast live on Australian TV. I sat up all night watching and can vividly remember it all these years later. It was amazing.
Thank you for subbing! And i am loving all the facts and stories you guys are giving me im learning a lot!
Old Wembley held 72,000 for gigs.
+ new Wembley holds 90-92,000.
2 billion was the coverage, not the viewer count
Just for the record, Kenny Everett was the name of the DJ who first played BR on radio. :-)
He told his mom he would blow her a kiss while he was onstage and he did! God bless you Freddie! RIP....
Your not old you are experienced in life
Loved your reaction.
It hit me like a ton of bricks! I wasn’t expecting that great of a performance lol
@@slickgaming810 I'm 63 and have loved Freddie from the moment I saw him. I sure do miss him. He'd be 75 had he lived. It was my pleasure to watch you! Keep 'em coming.
The shocking reaction you gave of finding out you had heard a few of the songs was priceless man.
your reaction is priceless, this was the greatest live concert of all time in my humble opinion, thank you for sharing this
Thank you for watching!
@@slickgaming810 check out they song somebody to love 1981 Montreal"
Freddie Mercury was the consummate entertainer. RIP, you wonderful person.
Still gives me chills. Everyone singing.
22 minutes of pure joy and arguably the best live set ever performed . 72,000 ! Yea right more like 100,000 . Old Wembley seating capacity was 82,000 , stage set aside no way was it only 72,000.
Radio Ga ga live dos t get any better .🎉
Glad you liked it .
HEY Slick,
Did you know that Queen RELEASED A NEW SONG last week? (YESSS, with Freddie’s vocals!)
“FACE IT ALONE”
(The song had been one of their unfinished demos from 1988-89 sessions for The Miracle album. On the original live demo recording, you can’t hear Freddie’s vocals very well cuz they’re “buried” in the live instrumentation… Queen’s engineers were able to “pull out” Fred’s vocals so they’re CRYSTAL.)
In the song’s first day out, it went to Number 1 on ITunes… in 22 COUNTRIES.
In the five days since its release, it’s been viewed on YT almost 7 million times.🖖
Oh wow I’m gonna have to check it out!
It is such a good song! Had it in my head today.... I may be a few of those YT views.
Great reaction, welcome to Queen and enjoy the music
❣️👑🎶
Thank you!
Amazing all the songs everyone sings today at games, are from Queen…yes, yes…Freddie Lives on forever!!!❤
Freddie turned Live Aid into a Queen concert, not only did Queen steal the show, but nobody can remember anyone else,s performance, Magnificent.
Reality right there, how many people can name another band & the set they played during Live Aid. They're not dominating UA-cam, that's for sure... Freddie is, still, 40 years later.
When you know a Queen song just from the first few bars of the song... you're a fan my dude. You didn't even know it lol.
I love when the drummer yells ‘Freddie’
Indeed, Roger, the drummer shouts "Ready Freddie?"
Much love to Australia 🇦🇺 I love your country and I have been there a few times. Always had a great time there!
Many people say - This song is Queen??? Of course!!! Top 3 band all-time.
The most charismatic vocalist in music history just doing his thing. This is the moment when UK was ruled by another Queen.
Best frontman ever!! I am still blown away, every time.... RIP totallyfantasticandamazing Freddie, we love love!🤩
I've seen this live. On TV . In Spakenburg The Netherlands. 9 years old. It was on TV all day. And not just Queen! But many more Great BANDS!
Loving Freddie is an understatement. Queen are the best live performers I have ever seen. You should watch in the lap of the gods hammersmith odeon 1975 its Freddie at his prime.
Queen has been my favorite band since I could appreciate music. I would have loved to have seen Freddy Mercury live. Deeply missed .
Freddie was the puppet-master - and oh how happy we were to be his puppets!
You need to watch the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. What you learn about the man and the rock star is enlightening
He was for sure one of the best singers of all times. And he was definitely the greatest entertainer and showman of all times!
@@magloyd4907 He was backstage, not onstage
Others have said some of the most important things about the concert, but as a frequent Reaction viewer (and Queenie), you do you on your own channel. You will get those who love you and those who don't. Ask Queen! They had the exact same "problem!" If YOU are comfortable, your channel's viewers will be. Most of all, have FUN!
Thank you! Your words of encouragement is what helps me stay motivated!
Very well said 😊👍👻
thank you for that. I cant belive you have never seen Queen on stage. Freddie was fantastic.
I’m jealous of those who did see him live
This was absolutely the greatest performance in history in my opinion Freddie was the best !!
I tear up every time hearing Freddy sing we are the Champions here. He got back together with the band for this concert, knowing he had AIDS and it was a death sentence at that time. It was his goodbye to the fans.
Not true, Freddie didn't receive a HIV diagnosis till 1987. The band never broke up.
Yes the video cut out the end of CHAMPIONS and also cut was when Feddie and Brian May (guitarist) came back out because one of the performers couldn't come on and Freddie sang 2-3 more songs, it was beautiful!!!
What songs did they play?
Freddie Mercury G.O.A.T R.I.P. 😪💖💯...
No one makes music like Queen today…
That should have been Love Of My Life live at Montreal!🤣
Watched this live in elementary school. Teacher wheeled the TV set in the room and we sat in amazement
Definitely the greatest singer of all time
Thanks, Slick!
Freddie wrote Crazy Little Thing Called Love in half an hour. It is his dedication to Elvis.
November 24, 1991 is when we lost Freddie. Such a talent gone too soon.
Thank you! Hammer to fall is one of my favorites and radio gaga
@@slickgaming810 Radio Ga Ga is where Lady GaGa got her name!
This is the greatesr talent Freddie of course, but they were all amazing!!!
If I could travel back in time, I'd definitely want to be at this show in the front row! Definitely unforgettable and Queen were absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!!
Me Toooooooooooo…….
It’s not supposed to cut out there 😥 … the greatest of all time. You’ve been surrounded by Queen music all your life and never knew it 😂✌🏼✌🏼
Anyone who performed after Queen was likely left in awe and probably wanted to pack up and go home!
It was meant to be then
check out "Love of My Life in Sao Paulo, Brazil 1981" this one has the best, over the top reactions. Any of the love of my life videos are wonderful...but to hear portuguese speaking fans sing in english TO BE HEARD! is quite formidable! They LOVED this song...
