Very clear good instructions 👌 thanks Harry.
You're welcome Mike, pleased you've got a few pointers to take on board from this. Have you managed to give these a try yet?
Excellent video Harry on how to attain the perfect takeaway and simplify the entire backswing! I feel this is one of your best "show and tell" videos you have made on this subject matter! As I commented to you before, this is the move I have been working on. The alignment stick extended to the club shaft drill is one that I have been doing! I either learn or validate from your videos! If viewers "take to heart" what you are teaching, their golf will only get better! Well Done Harry!!!! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks John, as always really appreciate your kind comments, pleased to hear for you that this one is one of the best ‘show and tell’ videos you’ve watched.
Just came across your videos today, great instructions...great explanations, thanks mate! Loving your work 👍🏻
Hi Kevin,
Really pleased you’re enjoying the content, more to come Tuesdays and Fridays. Hoping to post Sundays eventually too. How’s your golf going?
Fantastic video, I have this issue, causes all my other compensations. Will work on this and the impulse drill! Thank you!
Hi thanks for commenting, you’re welcome, do keep me posted on here or you can also reach out to me on Skillest to keep in touch!
Excellent video Harry there are very few videos on You Tube which show the correct movements from P1 through to P4 - and your video nails it. Would you consider doing an explanation of the correct wrist movements from top of the backswing to impact?
Hi David, this is a great video topic idea, I'd be more than happy to add this to the list. Thank you for commenting, this means a lot, it's great to read you've enjoyed my explanation.... more to come!
Man your good, you just analysed my swing without even seeing it!😂
Another great video
Haha thanks, yes we’ll give this a try anyway and let me know how it’s looks on Skillest.
One thing you can do for the back swing takeaway is make a straight away. Wrap a gear tie just blow your grip and angle it 45° and take the club back to when the gear tie is parallel with your feet line alignment stick. I do this and it works great
That's a very interesting way to work on the takeaway, always great to learning new ways of taking the club back in the golf swing!
Good video Harry, I've seen a lot of players releasing at the ball instead of the release happening past the ball. Do you have any drills for this, i use a slo- mo drill for numerous parts but this needs something different i think.
Thank you, I’ve got a few drills I can share with you. I’ll take note of this to explain in thorough but simple detail in another video. But for the time being. If you search my name and how to release golf it should come up with previous videos I’ve done on this topic. Your welcome!
What would this look like with a Driver?
Exactly the same concept apart from one thing which i may look into touching base on in a future upload. All to do with the width of arc.
50, 56 and 60 would suit my bag nicely 👍🙂
Would they? What have you currently got in the bag?
@@harryshawgolf 50 58 and 60 but old ones
Got ya!
