2:08 Marin Shiraishi, not Marin Kitagawa. That’s the main girl in My Dress-Up Darling.😅 Good video, though! I only vaguely knew this series existed, so it’s cool to hear more about it. I somehow did not realize he was the author of Hima-Ten until the end.😂
@@TrentinArt I thought that was because of the "name lost in translation" like many others, like the name in the beginning is different compared to the later half of the story where the "real" name is actually right that time
It makes so much sense on Ono’s growth from him being an assistant to Miura and Shinohara. That is because both of these series were launched by the editor Murakoshi who was also Ono’s editor when he helped him launched Full Drive. Mostly because Murakoshi’s strengths is approving stories that are comedies, slice of life, and romance. That is because Murakoshi launched Act-Age (unfortunately), Witch Watch, Blue Box, Akane-banashi, and now Hima-ten! So Ono was always a romantic, and Ono’s assistance after Full Drive helped him learn the do’s and dont’s and took what was best from those series and put it in Hima-ten!
An assistant on Witch Watch and Blue Box, two of my favourite Jump manga? Gnarly! Those two had just come out when I started reading Jump manga from Manga Plus, so I've been reading them from their very first chapters.
Its like an cool uncompleted idea gone wrong. I see the vision but The author was still too unexperienced... it just wouldnt work out, even if haikyuu didnt exist Funny thing what i see about the author is when it comes to one-shots, its always action based. But his aim for serialization is highly slice of life. Normally authors just commit atleast once for a battle serialization
After months of Campaigning in the Discord, I finally won!!!! Woooo! Full Drive!!!!
Im surprised your channel hasn't taken off already, keep making these
Thank you! I definitely feel like it's taken off, 3.5k subs is more than I imagined 😅

Damn it's even written as Shiraishi in my script, can't memorise every name I guess

Those One Shots look cool as hell I hope they become actual series 😂
Maybe if himaten gets axed or ends but for now that's what he'll be working on for a while
We going full drive with this one.
I enjoyed this when it came out. Was pretty sad that it got the axe.
Glad there's others who like it!
Table Tennis is pretty based but Full Drive just couldn't find it's true stride or drive
Hello, I was wondering if you could make a video on Jump SQ (Formerly known as Monthly Shonen Jump). 😊
Maybe one day, I think it would be fun!!
Do I get featured? Guess at the beginning: no
I think I forgot sorry, it happens I'm juggling a lot of different moving parts
@TrentinArt don't really care, kinda wound up bein a late submit anyway. Also, didn't have much to add that you didn't have other people saying
9:10 true...
Thank u for setting up the bit 🫡

I dont think it went all that wrong people blow fulldrive out of the water a bit. Definitely needed more time in the oven though
