When Theologians Sound Like White Supremacists [Dr. James White/Franklin Graham]

- James White, theologian, Calvinist theologian Dr. James White recently made on his Facebook page some cultural/theological observations based upon observing a young black teen crossing the street in front of him and behaving disrespectfully. His somewhat lengthy diatribe contained some arguably stereotypical and racially charged claims. When he was challenged, he deleted the post. He then engaged in same tactics the Pimp Preachers do -- attacking, deflecting, lying, and intimidating, all to to maintain his image and power. Hence, this response and why he is featured today on PimpPreacher.com. This video is a direct response to James White's The Dividing Line program entitled "Ethnic Gnosticism and the Gospel", and a final address to him on all matters. See PimpPreacher.com article: "When Theologians Sound Just Like White Supremacists and Fox News Hosts" | pimppreacher.co....
From James White's video 'Ethnic Gnosticism and the Gospel': "So I had my opportunity to respond to the firestorm of criticism that erupted over the weekend regarding a 545 word, 2 paragraph item I posted on FaceBook last Friday. In this Dividing Line I address the issue of fatherlessness, Planned Parenthood’s genocide of blacks, the sin of rebellion and disrespect for God-ordained authority, and, most importantly, the fact that the Gospel is race-free."
This is a response to James White's comments in his video "Ethnic Gnosticism and the Gospel" ua-cam.com/video/qwLsVZ2Yir0/v-deo.html
having watched what James white actually said, there was absolutely nothing racist about it.
+prime6783 nobody here said he said anything racist. But he most CERTAINLY said some things that were racially stereotypical, erroneous, and without sound basis in fact or evidence.
James White may only be a "cultural christian".
Not the same as a disciple of Christ.
I know I'm late to all of this, but I have to say that I was a fan of james white and all of his religious knowledge and debate skills. I was a follower of his on FB, and I started to get strange vibes coming from him about black people. It seems like everything he has to say about black people or a black person is always negative. Whenever he speaks about racism, it's always about black people being racist. I've never seen or heard him condemn white racist or white racist churches (which there are many of) so I began to get the feeling that he had some kind of hidden prejudice for black people, but I didn't want to just jump to conclusions and call him racist. But now with this post, he shows his true hate filled feelings when he sees a black person walking down the street, and seems to know his whole past, present and future all based on him being black. From that, I have to conclude that he is racist, and it's sad if he has a lot of black people going to his church. I mean, does he have to walk around saying n..... for him to be racist? No longer a James White fan.
Thank you so much for your comment. The purpose of the video was to lay out an irrefutable, fact-based case regarding the rhetoric he regularly uses when talking about Black people. I do not call him a racist in this video. However, he is most definitely suspect.
I am Muslim and I think you American Blacks peoples always scream RACE RACE when you get offended about anything. How cowardly. You know NOTHING about suffering. You live off the fat of the land. My extended family from Syria have truly suffered. They have seen executions of neighbors and friends....babies bodies in trash bags. Thank Allah I have scholarship to UC. I will go into Immigration reform and fight Trumps. Now you papered Black Americans see a video on You Tube from some white christian guy and you are all poor suffering victims of RACISM and oppression. Makes me laugh. Go ahead and delete me because you can't take the Truths.
Here's an idea. Have a formal debate with Dr. James White on this issue. I think it would prove to be quite entertaining and edifying to the Church.
+Janelle Fear What is there to debate?
LOL! @ the Godfather quote. You caught me off guard with that brother. Good analysis also.
James White has spouted plenty of absurdities over the years. This just adds to it. I wasn't much of a fan of his anyway. Thanks for exposing this guy.
give some examples of where he has spouted absurdities ??
i think Dr White's understanding of the black experience is VERY LIMITED and FLAWED, but he is in MOST RESPECTS a sound Bible teacher and christian apologist
Shieldsff
That doesn't give him a right to stereotype black people like we're not human or something.
"give some examples of where he has spouted absurdities". I gave four examples in this video.
I found this helpful. Thank you
You're quite welcome.
Thank you, Kevin.
I think we're all under assault these days - in every way you mentioned. There is only one answer for the division - being one in Christ. Prayers, Brother.
Truth is attacked, categorized, vilified and ignored.
James White was 100% right with his post, and he is not racist, nor am I... People need to wake up and deal with reality
+Alex.Kearney:
1) Nobody here said he was a racist.
2) Claiming he is "100% right" is an emotional statement -- not a factual one.
3) Let James White defend himself.
+NotYourTypicalNegro
+NotYourTypicalNegro
1.) people did and saying he sounds like a white supremacist is pretty much saying he's a racist which is ignorant to say
2.) no it's not emotional at all, it's blatantly obvious that what he's saying is accurate, anyone denying it has their head in the sand
3.) He has, but that doesn't mean I can't voice my opinion on his validity lol
+Alex.Kearney;
1) Whether he is a racist or sounds like one is incidental to the fact that he must be challenged and held accountable for what he says.
2) "blatantly obvious" is not a supporting data, a fact, or an item of evidence for consideration.
3) Again, let him defend himself, because you're doing a very poor job for him.
Amen. People are ridiculous now a days. The uploader is delusional
+AONHipHop your momma is delusional.
Great video, thanks.
I come to this rather late in the discussion so I'm wondering if there is a link to the original article by Mr White? Also the link listed is not active. Stay Blessed & Thank You.
Good stuff
He was NOT happy about this response I heard. Lol
if you insult James White like this you most likely will have a lot of sin to pay for. because you slander a great man.
Thesirevn
YOU sound CULTIC. I like James Whites debating skills but he rags on black people like we are dirt.
Thesirevn I hope you’re being sarcastic lol
So, James white can slander everyone who wants, but don't even try to say anything about him?..! Give me a brake, he needs to repent of many his teaching. His attitude is a proof

This is all white supremacist thinking, so of course this clown is going to protect James White.
Has James White responded?
No, he hasn't. He only responded to a question I asked him on Twitter. He then did a whole show on my response. This video is in response to that.
So what was the teens excuse then?
+Brian Lucas Excuse for what?
+NotYourTypicalNegro his behavior
+Brian Lucas
Brian, assuming James White's "observation" was even correct that this young man was a hoodlum, why can't this kid's behavior just be his own? When a young white guy acts bad, no one says anything about the "White leadership" being the root of "their" problem. Or "white on white" crime.
Because behavior is observed and learned. My son was still young enough to ride in a shopping cart and said to his mom after watching another child throughing a huge fit "you wouldn't let me get away with that". The kid was white and blame was not laid on the child but the parent. So again what was his excuse?
+Brian Lucas
It's as if you sailed right by my point. The kids behavior or his parents or whatever isn't my point. In fact, it's not even about the kid.
The question is, and I think NotYourTypicalNegro1's point is as well, that somehow someway, James White, like a lot of racist people, want to the whole of black people life and culture brought into play.
Why can't you hold this kid or his parents be responsible for his own behavior - alone?
I don't know if I ever addressed this, but I've seen the video of James White. There was nothing remotely racist about what he said. He was addressing basic facts based on what we know now. The kid he was criticizing clearly had not learned basic good manners and respect for authority, which means that most likely he came from a single parent home with no father. Now, I was raised in a single parent home, BUT I did not learn to act that way because GOD came in my life at an early age, and I knew not to act that way.
James White made a very valid point from a Biblical perspective. He's absolutely right about how the abortion industry, especially via Planned Parenthood, seems to target African American women and babies to murder black babies.
Now I don't agree with everything Mr. White said because it is clear he doesn't understand how slavery and post slavery actions have affected and still affects our people today. But for the most part, he was right on point.
It should not matter so much that a person "sounds" like a racist because ultimately the true issue is whether or not they truly ARE racist, and if we can discern that from the evidence. Jesus Himself said not to judge by how things APPEAR (John 7:24). And there is simply no evidence that James White is a white supremacist racist.
Is whyte leadership responsible mass shootings and the opioid crisis?
@@liarsliarsandmoreliars4386 What?
stop saying that spanish word for black calling yourself negro with the incorrect pronuciation...i agree with you but please drop the other "N" word
+David Rachal:
1) The root word is actually Latin -- not "spanish".
2) "Negro" is on my birth certificate.
3) You do not come here to tell me what I should call myself. I am a FREE negro, and will call myself what I wish.
Good day.
Are you a Christian or a black supremacist? I do not let my Hispanic culture override my Christianity. In other words, my culture is not my authority, my dark skin tone is not my identity. The bible is my authority, and being in Christ is where I find my identity. It seems that you are the opposite. I also wonder if you really listened to anything he said.
+Nicholas Ryan I'm curious to know what in the world have I said or done to indicate I am in any way a "Black supremacist". I'll wait...
I guess you're still waiting. Lol
Please explain what "Hispanic Culture" is because I am very curious to know what "Hispanic Culture" is, ALSO can you please explain how "Black" is a Culture? (You are implying that Blackness is somehow a culture that can be placed before The Bible, and I am challenging this claim by asking you to specifically tell me what "Black Culture" is or how having "dark brown skin" makes you or gives you a specific culture)
