Andrew and Tiffany - Glad your place survived the storm in relatively good shape. 🙏 Brought back bad memories of 2018 and Hurricane Michael. Andrew will have that place cleaned up in no time! 💪 Take care and thanks for the update.
I've been waiting for this update. Thank God for your safety. All honour to Him. I recall your house build videos and how you made sure it was rock solid! Great to reap those rewards now with only minor damage! Glad you are both safe!
Thanks for the update! Glad to see you guys are safe. I big part of prepping that most dont think of is know when to bugout, and not stay in place. Some people wait to long and then get in a bad situation. If it felt right for you to leave trust your instincts! Be safe!
Thanks Tiffany and Andrew for letting us know you are all safe.
Thank you!
Thanks for posting an update. You are blessed for sure! Don't worry about not posting because we all know how busy you are going to be! We'll be here for you!
Man y’all are so blessed! Hate it for all your trees, but glad to see y’all still have a standing house and shop.
Prayers answered, good to see you both safe and sound. Your home still standing a testament to your construction skills.
So good to see your faces! I beieve you were missed because of the prayers of your subscribers. That is BLESSINGS not luck my friends. It is wonderful to hear you guys are safe and suffered minimal damage.
Thankfully you and Tiffany and your dogs all came through unscathed - and your house just got a small bruise or two!
It's hard to look at, but trees coming down in a storm is important for the overall health and vitality of the forest. Now, sunlight can get in through the forest canopy and give the understory a chance to come back. That in turn helps to provide habitat for the critters. Nature's way is sometimes unforgiving, but it is always for the best.
Take care and God Bless.
Very true God bless!
Think I told you before but my elderly parents live in Branford. The eye just missed them a few miles north. Praise God they are ok. My mom went south to stay with my sister. My 78year old father got all kitted up to "protect" the place form looters if there was damage. I was up all night staring at the live map, praying. It worked. They had minimal damage, just one limb down. Was only without power for 4 hours. I am also thankful you guys are ok. I know it's harowing to go through it.
We have a lot of friends in Branford, glad it missed them.
Amen!
🙏🙏🙏for all the folks who got hit hard😢 so glad y’all had minimal damage.
Hello Tiffany and Andrew. That was good footage you filmed, I see lots of damage, these storms are so heartless. I am very happy you guys are safe and hope the same for your families. Thanks for the update. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Thank you!
Good to hear and see you came out mostly unscathed Andrew, minus the trees. Very blessed it wasn't worse. Prayers for everyone impacted and helping with the recovery now.
We were very lucky! Take care!
So great to hear you guys are ok. We were worried about you guys.
We have friends in Perry, and thank goodness they had very little damage! Larry said the roads trying to get to town were awful! So glad you are ok there! ❤
The roads were bad, especially north of Perry on 221.
My heart breaks for you, Tiffany and everyone effected by the hurricane. I'm glad to see and hear from you that you're safe. Prayers for everyone.
Thank you, God bless.
It is so wonderful that both of you are safe and sound. I remember when you was first building the house, how everybody jumped on your case on the construction methods used. Moreover, the response you gave back then was totally on the money. Minor damage is nothing compared to a total loss. I am sure everything will be straightened out and the continuing memories of enjoyment shall continue in your homestead. All the best to both of you.
Thank you
It is so sad to see all those huge trees damaged. Mother Nature's way of cleaning house. Glad y'all are alright.
So glad that y'all are okay...when I saw the update saying it would be a Cat 4 got really worried about you guys.
Glad everyone is okay! I was praying for you guys.
Thank you
So glad that you made it home safely. Such devastation.
Thank goodness. I thought about you all the whole time. Ruger sure is happy to be home!
Thankful you are safe.❤ Prayers for all those who had such devastation to their property. 🙏🏻
So glad to hear y'all made it through the storm safe and with minimal damage compared to what could have been. We appreciate y'all keeping us up to date on how y'all are doing and how the property faired despite all of the work getting things back in order that you have ahead of you! Continuing to send prayers for y'all and those who were not as fortunate during the cleanup and rebuilding process that is just beginning.
Thank you so much, we are blessed. There are many in our community who lost a lot.
Fantastic! Our prayers for “and please see fit to veer the storm to the east and miss the Kelley’s place with damaging winds” worked! Praise the Lord!
Thank you all
A & T, I’m so grateful that you both made it thru with minimal damage and that you and your families are all ok! Your footage saddens me to see that beautiful area, what I call God’s country, damaged the way it was. In my previous career, I spent 14 days in the area of Mexico Beach in October of 2018 and while Hurricane Idalia didn’t do the damage that Michael did, it brought all of those memories back for me. Mother Nature reminds us all from time to time that she’s in control. All of your hard work with your solar system, hand well, and everything else you’ve done there is paying dividends now! 🙏🙏
We are leaning heavily on some of this preparedness projects.
It can't be God's country because God keeps sending hurricanes there. Why would God send hurricanes to his own country?
Thanks for the update. You are very lucky that the house and barns are in as good as they are. There were very high winds that went through there even though it wasn't from the eye. You are very blessed. With mo more damage than you have make sure that mom and dad are taken care of first. God bless.
Glad you guys are ok. Will say an extra prayer for you neighbors.
Thank you, God bless!
Great habitat diversity, lots of lumber and fire wood ,bedding for deer . Skunk apes etc. Your sitting betterthan most.
Just thankful you folks and your puppies are safe
So happy you and your family are safe
Glad y'all are ok and not much damage to the house and other buildings....do what you have to do and we'll all still be here supporting you and waiting for content whenever you are able...God bless.
Thank you, God bless!
Good morning, the main thing is you guys are safe and well. I am glad see you both!
Glad y’all are safe. This is a good case for Starlink, you don’t have to rely on local infrastructure, just your power. I don’t even mean for uploading videos either. It’s nice to keep tabs on our smart homes when we are away and check cameras, alarms, etc.
Thank you for the update! We were all very concerned.
Wow is all I can say! Lucky and unlucky all at the same time.
Your signature oak sure took a beating.
Never seen Tiffany look so somber.
We were exhausted 😔
Again, we're glad you all are safe with minimal damage and I hate seeing big old trees of any kind lay down like you. I love the woods myself .😢
Makes me sick!
Thank you so much for taking the time to keep us informed. I know you have so much else on your mind, that is the last thing you want to be doing. I can tell Tiffany is still stressed, which is totally understandable. When Charley hit us, it took out the transmission line poles, which are at least 2 feet in diameter. Snapped them like twigs. Took a little over 2 weeks for our power to get restored. Just in time for Frances then Jeanne right after that. Anyway, after you let us know you guys were safe, my next thought was your beautiful oak in the front yard. I'm so happy it is still standing. When you look at the root structure of those big oaks that fell, you can see why they couldn't withstand the wind. No tap root. I'm exactly like you in that it would have made me sick to my stomach to see all those beautiful trees down. Storm took out a 100 yr old oak at the Governor's mansion too. Beautiful old oaks are getting harder to find.
Well, I have rambled on enough. Truly hope you parents are going to be ok. Love you guys.
Thank you for thinking of us!
Glad y'all are safe and the damage was minimal. You made the correct decision to evacuate, in my opinion. Hindsight is always 20/20.
Don't know about you, but I'm a list person. Over the years I've developed lists for storm prep, travel, and other things where forgetting or overlooking something could be critical. They've saved me from forgetting something a couple times.
The opening scenes makes me ask if you traveled with a chain saw and some extra gas in case you have to open a path.
Looking forward to the future videos!
Jim in OBX
Chainsaw, oil, gas and wrench in the truck 😉
So glad to hear that you are doing well. I lived in Tampa 57 years and I know what it's like.
so glad you both are safe, thoughts with all that have lost so much in Florida. Best wishes
Andrew and Tiffany, your stress is understandable. Hurricane Ian roughly 5 hours south of you last year. We rode it out 13 days no power ran on generators. Cell service took like a good 15-20 days to run properly. Main thing is that you all are OK. Going to be along couple of weeks. You guys will prevail even stronger.
Thank you, you are correct.
Good to hear from you. Glad you are safe and sound.
Glad to see that you guys are OK, prayers for all of those affected 👍
I rode out Rita in Houston and it is very eary when the wind at one time comes from one direction, then perfect weather with no wind and then the wind comes battling from the other direction. Experience of a lifetime.
I feel your pain brother. I had well over 200 trees on the ground after hurricane Rita hit us here in Southeast Texas. Glad y'all and y'alls family made it through safe.
It sucks, but being safe is what's most important.
So good to hear from you and Tiffany. I did not message you, we went through Michael and I knew you would be busy. God bless you and your friends.
Realistically your decision was 100% correct as you’re back home making a video with your wife next to you. The voyage is insignificant. Good to see you back relatively unscathed.
Thank you, take care!
Hey Mr Andrew and Lady Tiff... As you guys already know God's favor is unmatched and you both are covered and protected with it!!
Even though you said I miss this or forgot to turn off that, God protected and prepared you with everything needed to get through the next several weeks with plenty food, fuel and backups for the backups.
Not only that but if needed you are blessed with good knowledge, supplies and some useful equipment to help family members and friends in the area to make it through as well!!
God is good and I thank him for the shift🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We are blessed, thank you.
You have always amazed me at the knowledge you have about so many things . Of which are always useful to us all . Also you have great common since about everyday life . Thanks for sharing that knowledge with us !!!!
Thank you
Andrew
- Glad to hear you and your family are safe and OK
- For the trees you have lost, I had the same thing 2 years ago, I replanted with relocating SweetGum & Water Oak saplings, in 10 years they will be large, they grow fast.
- Time to get a sawmill and turn these downed trees into usable lumber. Even if you start with an Alaskan Chainsaw rig.
- and for the limbs, time to get a wood chipper so you can make your own mulch.
Got a chipper, thanks,
I was waiting for this video. Glad you 2 and the Dogs are fine. Many people suffered much more damage to their Properties, but you just need to ton of Chainsaw work and few repairs to buildings, good luck with all moving forward. From Canada with love.
A lot! And I mean A LOT of chainsaw, tractor and firewood videos coming! Wish granted!
Glad all are safe. Well, it's not a comfort, but. Now you have months of video content. Prayers to you, your family, and all in Florida.
I'm going to burn everyone out on tree cutting videos 😂
Glad to hear you guys are doing ok after the storm.
So happy you two are safe💜
Glad you made out as good as you did. We lost a huge oak in Zeta and 3 more with Ida, luckily they didn't take down the buildings right next to them. But it does hurt you to see healthy trees blown over like that. Be safe out there when you take care of those downed trees.
Thank you, take care!
You did NOT get LUCKY, you had the hand of God protecting you!! I know I prayed for you and I know he hears me. God bless you both. ❤❤ Praise God it's your trees and not your home and buildings.
Amen!
So glad you both are safe
From Louisiana here. We know what you are going through. Sending love and prayers.
Yall got it bad for a long time, I feel for you.
@@TKCL I guess we all gotta take our licks. I learn a lot from you. Hopefully you can keep up the good work. Be safe
Hi, Andrew and Tiffany! So sorry for the damage you sustained. I am very grateful your home and other buildings were spared. I’m so sorry I forgot to pray for your trees. God bless both of you, your sweet dogs, and the beautiful and very wise chickens.
Thank you, God bless!
Glad you made it through safely.
So glad that you all are ok. Praying for everyone in the surrounding areas.
Thank you
Glad you guy's are ok and no major damage to your main structures. Hopefully powerlines get repaired soon. The cleanup of debris will take many months. So many people have lost everything..
Very true
Lol, Andrew, you kill me! "I think I'm a tree hugger, but I cut trees down" 😅. I was looking at some of those BIG trees on the drive back to your house and thought, how sad to lose those majestic trees. All the storms they survived and years😢. Your man card is safe! We understand what you are feeling, well some of us do! I too feel for those who lost their homes (which can be replaced unlike the trees) and the fact that YOU said that part out loud speaks volumes. Venting is healthy so vent on. Again, glad you are both safe and survived. Keep up the good work and the videos coming.
Maybe you should get a saw mill now! A lot of nice straight wood to make stuff with!?
Thank you! I do want and now NEED a sawmill.
Hurricanes: the one thing I don't miss about growing up in Florida. Glad you and your wife are safe. All the other stuff is replaceable and repairable. It's a lot harder to repair or replace people.
Andrew, I'm with you on the downed trees! 😢
Glad you guys didn't have bad damage. We've been through 2 Cat 5's so far, Charley years ago in Charlotte Co, FL and then Michael in the Bay, Washington, Jackson Co area. Both times we got darned lucky like you did. Still take them over the day of terror we spent in the Chattanooga TN/Ringgold GA area in 2011 when the tornados came through all day long. Scary as heck
Mother Nature can be relentless and forgiving, scary times.
Just a suggestion for the tree limbs; chipper/shredder!!! Rent, borrow, or buy one; you can start a pile for future compost-making, and add to any compost you've already started!!! My husband and I rented one years ago when we had about 100 pines taken off our property leaving us with the limbs, our driveway was low and usually left us stepping out of our cars into water, so we shredded a lot of them into our driveway.
I own one, thanks
Glad y’all made it with no major damage to the property! For the rollup doors, I have a buddy who made some big beefy L brackets that bolt to the frame, they stick out far enough to fit some 2x8’s, or whatever size you want, and they basically sandwich the boards against the door to prevent it from blowing in. You could use some square tubing or something similar also, I know you like to over engineer things, LOL. It’s just something simple and easy to install/remove for hurricanes or even major thunderstorms. I live in south louisiana about 20 miles from the coast also, so we know all about what y’all are going through. Hope y’all can get power and get somewhat back to normal soon!
I like that idea, thanks!
This would be heart wrenching seeing this devastation and trying to get back home, not knowing what you'll find.
Gone for 13 hours and sick every second of what we might find.
Glad you all are safe. Visited my son in Pensacola over the holiday weekend. Thinking about you when I was driving on I-10 and saw all the trees down.
Thank you, we are well.
Glad the two of you made it he safely. One of our local ministries that we support is set up in Perry. Hearts with Hands from Swannanoa NC is a great group and send aid to many disaster areas. Thanks for the update.........
Thank you, God bless!
Good to see you guys are doing ok. Hurricanes are destructive hopefully we can avoid anymore for the rest of the season.
🤞
I'm glad you and Tiffany are ok and parents are ok. Don't overwork yourself trying to get everything cleaned up right away. A sawmill might be your next big purchase. Not only will you have an abundance of firewood, but being able to mill dimensional lumber will greatly help your neighbors that have major rebuilding to do. Good luck and be careful out there.
Thank you!
@@TKCL You're welcome!!
Andrew glad you and Tiffany are safe. Just keep in mind to walk a mile it one step at a time.. try cutting the trees into sections and drag the out to the field to take back to your processing Center
I'm going to experiment with many different ways of handling this wood.
Glad you got through without major damage to your home. Time for a sawmill in your inventory. I have the same tractor as you and purchased a Woodland Mills WC88 chipper for our 50 acre property. Turn all those limbs into mulch.
We had Hurricane Fiona tear up the Maritimes one year ago this month. I’m still trying to clean up the forest so I share your pain looking at the damage to your forest. On a bright note, lots of income generating possibilities with firewood sales and UA-cam video content.
For sure a lot of content opportunities!
Thank you for the update ....prayers for you all
Thank you
Glad y’all had very minimal damage. Our electric coop sent about 18 crews to help out TCEC with electrical restoration efforts. Hopefully they will get a majority of power restored quickly.
I'm hearing two weeks, we shall see 🤞🤞
@@TKCL well after Michael, the initial estimates to restore power was several months. However the linemen that descended upon Panama City worked an absolute miracle and was able to have 90 percent of the power restored in less than 3 weeks.
That's amazing!
I was sooo glad to see your faces this morning! It's too bad that you lost all those trees, but to be so fortunate as to have sustained seemingly minor damage compared to others is a godsend. Andrew, I hope that your folks fared as well with damage to their home and shop and that Tiffanys' family is so blessed as well. Your preparedness and planning are going help keep the stress levels down while dealing with the aftermath. T & P still going out to others affected by this disaster. Don't even worry about videos, but if you are able to squeeze in a small comment here everyday - we'd all really appreciate it. You have so many that care about you! 🙏💜 🙏💜 🙏💜 TAKE CARE and STAY SAFE
Thank you, God bless!
Prayers to both of you, your parents and friends.
Thank you!
I was so worried about y'all. I kept checking for a video constantly. I finally thought to check your page where I saw your post saying you were OK.
The page is nice for quick updates. Thank you!
Good morning everyone 🌞
Good morning
Week I see snake chaps and a 3 point skidding log winch attachment for the tractors. That will get you to the down trees deep into the woods. And maybe a log skidding arch. To bring them to a log pile area . Yep sponsors please. Don’t be afraid ask or give help. Prayers for mom dad and everyone in the area.
I’m so glad you guys are ok! The Hurricane Michael eye came directly over my house in Blountstown a few years ago so seeing this footage hits close to home and breaks my heart! Glad you guys are safe!
Thank you so much, we definitely did not have the devastation you experienced.
@@TKCL I don’t know man! A bad storm is a bad storm and y’all definitely got that! Just heartbreaking to think about it! I’m 2 hours away if there’s anything you guys need don’t hesitate to reach out!
@SizeMattersFishing thank you!
Glad you guys are safe. Like you said Michael smacked us and getting out is the best thing. One thing after Michael, five years later our quail population has exploded. Take the clean up one piece at a time. Luckily you have a grapple
Would love to see Quail here again.
That’s a lot to take. I really relate to your disappointment losing those trees😞
Breaks my heart
I am so glad that you both are safe! I was praying and hoping you would not have a lot of damage it could have been much worse. You can start the clean up after you get some much needed rest. You two take care and we will be here when you get settled in with power and internet again! 😊❤🙏💜🙏🤗
Glad you weren't hit worse than you were! You were in my thoughts!
Lord Bless y’all that your safe. I have 150 acres in Jasper. We lost 3-4 dozen trees. We can’t get to half the property yet. No electricity but we are all safe.
Glad your safe.
Hey Andrew buddy i am glad that you & Tiffany I safe from the storm man. I am sorry to hear about your tree's though. But I am glad your house that you worked so hard for was not Damage bad. Florida is looking bad right now but it will rebuild. I am seeing the damage that is done man & my Heart & pray goes out to everyone down there in Florida. I am doing my part to help out & so is my wife who going to be there for a month right now. Stay safe buddy & pray 🙏 that everything works out for you.
We are blessed! Take care!
I am glad you are safe and home.
Glad you’re all safe. Sad the trees took so much hammer but maybe that’s natures way of allowing the smaller trees to thrive more.
At least you can make use of some of timber. Stay safe clearing it all
Very true, take care.
So happy you guys are ok and your home survived well! Thanks for the update! Lots of cleanup work for sure
Lived in Mayo a few years and hunted in Perry my whole life....we took some water and other stuff to help some friends out in Perry yesterday and check on our camp up there it was a sad site to see all the storm messed up...but was happy to see everyone helping out and all the power crews getting it back up ✝️
This area has been lucky for a long time.
Great idea adding some additional reinforcement to those large garage doors.
I think so too!
Glad you two are okay. Sorry you lost so many trees. Do what you have to do. Don’t worry about videos Andrew
Thank you, I'll get videos out as internet allows.
Oh and please don't stress about getting video's out. Majority of your viewers understand. Those that don't, that's their problem. We care that you take care of yourselves first!
We bought a Harbor Freight saw mill after Hurricane Michael to mill all our downed trees. Worth every penny
Sawmill is definitely on my list.
I'm glad y'all are ok and I hope your mom and dad are ok prayers for all effected.
I'm headed to cut them out. It's apparently a lot worse there.
Hurricanes suck. Its amazing how a few miles can make such a big difference when it comes to the eye wall. I'm from Mississippi so I can understand what you guys are going through.
Glad you guys made it though safe. Praise God!
