Crowd: YEAAAAAHH!!!!!!
my first thoughts like wtf🤣
Well we all know 99% of people go to races to see a crash
HAHAH ikr came to comments for this
Then the car slides to a stop in front of them upside down on fire and they’re like ……👀
It’s so wrong that it’s so rights
Not even close to the worst in Nascar history.
Well what do you think is the worst wreck
@Black to Black Geoff Bodines 2000 crash would be the worst
FacelessNas 64 that’s true but a CLOSE CONTENDER would have to be Rusty Wallace 1993 talladega
@@facelessnas6499 I really want to say that it would be Russel Phillips...
Abel Aguirre what about dale
You know it’s bad when you can *hear* the impact over 100,000 people cheering
yeah and then they found out he's dead and they all act like they were worried about him when it happened. Disgusting but hey that's humans for ya!
@@Goose22jhHe’s alive and well, you dunce.
@@gavynhohon2818His point still stands, dunce!
@@gavynhohon2818yet he's still not wrong. Fuckin dunce
I didn’t even hear it the first time I watched this lol, thanks for pointing it out xd
If you think is the worst crash, you don't know much about NASCAR
It looks more crazy if you see it in real life
I would say Geoffrey bodine truck series was beyond a doubt the worst wreck.
Ik that
@BluesManSteele knows nothing about NASCAR and is wrong. Simple
@@michaelkelly-yy3dc Russel Phillips was
I guess someone dying isn’t as bad as a flip over
Well first he almost died. And second he talking on how violent the wreck is.
And also near death with this equipment we have today, he must have felt some shit lol
@@blacktoblack7292 he didn't "almost die"
@@gavinfelicitas2044 well if he would have got hit maybe a second later he would get a direct hit into the window then boom.
@@blacktoblack7292 yeah, but look at Brad's crash when Carl turned him. He hit the concrete wall, and he was ok.
so many other worse wrecks, Rusty Wallaces wrecks at Dega and Daytona in '93, just for starters, Michael Waltrip wreck at Bristol where his car got split in half, Austin Dillons catch fence wreck, Richard Pettys catch fence wreck, Carl Edwards catch fence wreck. and thats just the tip of the iceberg.
Look up Geoff Bodine's wreck at Daytona in the truck race. That one gives me chills every time
Dude you are so wrong.
You better check out bodies truck wreck and then tell everone it's not
Hurry I'll wait
None of theses compare to bodine truck wreck.
I have seen all thoes wrecks In the last week.
None of yours even qualify
Dam right Jeff's engine was rolling down the track. I thought that wreck killed him.
Forgot about Dale
The one person in the back, “that’s not good” 😂
What really pissed me off about this is the fact that the victory celebration went on while Ryan was still trapped in his car.
Same thing when Michael won the 500 the day Dale Sr died.
Victory celebration was going on and Dale was dying (if not dead) still in his car.
dale died on impact by neck but good comment
Dale was dead before Michael and Jr crossed the finish line. But I agree.
@@Ktallica Yes I know Dale died on impact.I was just saying that NO VICTORY celebration should take place while any driver is being attended to on track.
@@duanekennard3298well he didn’t know if Dale sr crossed the s/f line or not
Didn't look severe to most, Waltrip couldn't really express joy at Michael winning, because all were so concerned, at the time. I recall things being quite muted...........
I sure miss the days where people weren't holding their phones filming every damn thing!!!
Why? Let people enjoy themselves if that’s what they want to do
@@CloverJamthey're not enjoying themselves. They don't even know what they're doing. Even without their phones.
Doesnt hurt anyone and its not like they could've stopped the crash. I dont know why people are so against recording, If i was at an event i would definitely want it to be documented just for memories.
Its like people think you're less intellegent for taking a picture of something or recording it.
If they'd had them back whenever, they would have used them. Plain and simple.
its the final lap of one of the biggest races in the world why tf wouldnt they be filming
Person getting crushed at 1000mph and people are like WOOOOO!!!
191 mph*
He was so close to winning it.
Newman crashes and everyone gets COVID. That’s NASCAR!
Many worse wrecks than this one
(2001 Daytona 500 Fatal Dale Earnhardt)
(2015 Austin Dillons ride into the fence)
(Kurt Busch career ending concussion wreck)
(Dale Jr career ending concussion wreck)
(Aric Amirola crash almost career ending)
(Brad Keselowski wreck at Atlanta from Carl Edwards)
I know I'm missing a lot more, but these were the ones i witnessed.
Look up Russell Phillips, and see how bad that one is that is probably the most brutal
@@brice5925 definitely brutal
I’d say either Geoff Bodine’s 2000 Daytona Truck flip or Michael Waltrip’s 1990 Bristol crash are the worst.
**people in the car getting hurt**
The crowd:”YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”
It was the final lap, they were cheering for their drivers likely. Crashes usually don’t end up bad enough in nascar for there to be an injuries because of extremely high safety standards, but in this case, the crash got bad right after all the drivers went over the finish line.
Driver: OH S#IT
Crowd: HELL YEAHHHHH!!!!
Driver at the end: WEEEEEEE
"Worst wreck in Nascar history?"
Did you see what happened to Austin Dillion in 2015?
Volt exactly what I said
This one was way worse
@@nascarfireball4828 Alright then, I'll attempt to name two others I think are worse, Geoff Bodine's truck wreck at Daytona, and Dale Earnhardt Sr's faithful crash.
@@KilIimanjar0 fatal*
@@thefuzzypickle8277 *I know what I said, and I said "Faithful."*
Geoff bodine: am I a joke to you?
Yes
Yeah but that Russell Phillips left his head in the pit road entrance, Kyle Larson runs that scheme for his sprint car and it makes my stomach kind of turn.
Everyone standing with their phones out like a bunch of robots
What do you want them to do? Stop the car?
@@awsomesauselol
Its the final lap of the biggest god damn race of the season
They are a bunch of robots. The sports of the Deplorables are an exercise in the manipulation of simpletons.
and here you are bitching on yours
This looked bad but dale earnhardts felt bad.
When i watched this ln tv i was cheering so hard. And instantly went quiet with the driver side hit to the wall.. then the driver side upside down hit made me fall back to me chair..... a whole evening of disbelief
Doesn’t look like they are going that fast till they hit something 🏁
The fact that I don't like the crowd😂😂😂
The worst wrecks are the one's where these father's ,brother's ,husband's ,son's and daughter's don't get a chance to suit up again. 😢😢 RIP "THE INTIMIDATOR"
Well not the worst by far...
McDowell, Texas 2008,
Bodine, Daytona 2000,
Wallace, Talladega 1992...
Don’t forget Bobby and Davies wrecks at pocono.
Dale Earnhardt is the worst by a country mile
@@odeefromdawicResult wise, sure. Impact/damage of the car, not even close to the worst.
The Gem X car saved McDowell. And it was during practice entering Turn One.
And if we count NASCAR Mexico, Carlos Pardo. Though I should warn you that you probably don’t want to see that one. Basically a head on collision with Fort Knox at 150.
My father used to race. I was 6 years old. Never ceased to amaze me when there was a crash and the crowd went wild. Every time I see this that memory comes back in full color. Unforgettable!
Not even close watch Dale Earnhardt's crash 😭😭😭😭😭
Bad but far from the worst
(Me dying in a nascar crash)
Crowd:LETS GOOOOO
Bro pulled a “ McQueen is fading he’s fading fast
why they happy they don't know how hurt it is
Hasn’t been a death in the top flight since 2001 and that is because the driver was negligent to wear the proper safety equipment.
Why are you cheering for blood and death
Cracked his helmet. I have a short on my channel of him showing it for the first time.
Worst crash in history was Austin Dillons in 2015 Daytona or Dale Earnhardt Sr. Oh also, Micheal Waltrip at Bristol 1990
Nah this isn’t the worst
Daytona 500 2001
Never seen a car slide that far on a roof but no where near anything historically noteworthy, not like it was a 35 car pileup or anyone died
Bodine.
Truck.
Daytona.
Puts this melodrama to shame.
We were played with this wreck.
Yes it was bad, and we all feared the worst with the news blackout.
Then Newman walked out without a scratch less than 48 hrs later.
We were played.
Geffory bodies truck was the worst wreck in nascar history..nascar has it as number 1... doesn't matter what other think.. I have watched it dozens of times and everytime I watch is I see different shit breaking away untill all that is left is half a motor.
Imagine how the person who crashed, parents felt after seeing the crash😢
The man is 40 years old
@@EthansNASCAR_FootballAnd?
Of course people would cheer and raise their beer when someone crashes southern people shit I swear😂😂
I mean people even cheered for Trump 😅 (and Musk etc... That whole team.)
Hasn’t been a death in the top flight since 2001 and that is because the driver was negligent to wear the proper safety equipment.
@EthansNASCAR_Football kid ur an idiot u obviously don't know anything about Nascar dale was the greatest driver in Nascar history far better than overrated Jimmie ever was
Dale Earnhardt: am I a joke to you?
But the worst wreck ever was Dale Earnhart. Even though it wasnt bad we lost the best driver that day. Rest Easy Dale😔❤️
Not the worst, saddest
It wasn’t even a bad wreck. They didn’t have many safety precautions
He was my me and my dad’s hero ❤
No , it was not , ( top 10 maybe) not the worst , peratex 300 wreck was the worst.
Michael Waltrip's car getting torn to shreds, and I can't remember who it was that hit a wall and their engine flew out. It may have been David Ragan
Cup series or Xfinity. In cup it was Jeff Gordon after wrecking with Matt Kenseth on the backstretch. In the Xfinity series Kyle Larson was in the 32 car and lost his engine in a catch fence crash.
Hm, I wonder if there was a crash at that exact same event that could have been worse...
Dale is doing victory laps in his grave right now.
i was searching for speedway crashes and ended up here
Worst wreck in nascar history
Did you see what happend to russel Philz’s in 1998 his hand got ripped off and his head got ripped off fount at pit road rest in peace russel Phil’s ❤️🫶😇☺️😭😢
Celebran o que onda??? Que feo
Geoff bodines truck crash at Daytona was definitely one of the worst I saw
That kid had me dying while he’s cheering for the cars crashing
Carl Edwards at Talladega, flying up and traversing the catch fence
Someone at the end said “that’s not good” 💀
I would say probably the 50 car crash at like in 1960 something
Geoff Bodine in the truck at Daytona comes to mind. Michael Waltrip at Bristol!!!!
Trust me, search up the guy that walked out of a fire in NASCAR
Oddly, what saved Ryan's life was his own idea. He recognized in other wrecks that there was a weakness in the roll cage if the car was hit while invertedat the top of the windshield. It was the weakest area of the roll cage. Then came Newman's design that added a bar to the roll cage at the top of the windshield. This video doesn't show how violent of a wreck he went through that night. His car was upside down when struck by another car airborne. That new bar saved his life. If not for that, the roof of the car would have collapsed in on top of him. He was seriously injured in the crash but he was alive.
Don't they even call it THE NEWMAN BAR??
I was in Dale Jr's pitstall when Dillion flew into the fence in 2015...that was much worst than this
I immediately started praying for Ryan because I thought I'd just watched him go home. So happy that the good Lord let us keep him for a while longer
I remember watching this one on TV.
Pretty crazy how far that car traveled after the initial impact
I bet if you ask Ryan Newman, he would tell you it was just another wreck @ Daytona, just a pisser he ended up on his lid... Ryan is a class act. #Blessed
I always thought one of the worst wrecks was when Austin Dillon went up into the fence and ripped the front of the car off
“Worst wreck in nascar history” seems like someone’s never seen a Talladega race
When Richard Petty hit the concrete wall of pit road at Daytona. I believe in the 80's.
Never understood how people can enjoy oval track car races. Now I understand. Just here to see crashes.
*crash happens at just below 200 mph that could very well result in a death*
Croud: 👏👏👏👏👏
Look at those guys cheering a guy who crashed
Everybody gangsta till the flipped car stopped in front of em
That one lady was raising a toast to her Lot
Just looking at buddy’s head in front of the camera. Seeing his hat tag stick out from behind his bald head just STUCK out 😂
“WOOOO” meanwhile dying nr2003 style
Worst surviving in cup, Dillon 2013. Busch, Waltrip 1990. Trucks, Bodine 2000.
Daytona is my name
we came, got drunk and waited for the crash...
Bro is near too dying
The crowd : whooo 🤣🤣🤣😝🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🦅🦅🦅🦅
Hasn’t been a death in the top flight since 2001 and that is because the driver was negligent to wear the proper safety equipment.
Any and every wreck that took a driver is the worst wreck. Not this one. It was one of the longest crashes. I’ll give you that.
The worst wreck of my 45 years of Nascar was Dale at Daytona. Kinda ended my enthusiasm for Nascar.
That can't even compare to Austin Dillons crash back in 2015
Worst wreck was probably Michael waltrips Busch series wreck. This one was scary though. Never good when the privacy screens come out
This is a new gladiator.
I think Rusty Wallace takes the cake on the worst wreck end over end over end etc.
Geoff Bodine's truck crash at Daytona!
Pretty good view of the crash. 👍
Bummer part of life in the great sports of ⭐️🏥Nascar
Where he hit the wall I was 2 sections up
This crash pissed me off the most because the idiot behind him spun him on purpose
The fact it’s so fucking loud you can’t even hear the roof of that car screaming across the ground is insane
Nascar fans brains would make a crow fly backwards 😂😂 man wrecked and people cheering
Pretty funny the dude holding the phone, missed the whole wreck..
Worst wreck in NASCAR history was Michael Waltrip at Bristol.
We are hopelessly fucked… (smh)
It's definitely on the list of one of the worst. Maybe debatable for the worst in the past 10 years.
Nothing will ever compare to the crash that took Dale’s life here, live on forever #3
WOOOOO A GUY ALMOST LOST HIS LIFE TO A RACE 🔥🔥🔥
Look up the guy who died in a nascar race when he was rammed into the wall, breaking his neck, ribs, legs, arms, mostly his whole body and crushing his internal organs. That’s why nascar have all of these safety systems on the cars now
Yeah I would think since he survived that’s far fn away from being the worst but thanks for sharing
Michael Waltrips wreck split the car in half hitting a wall that looked bad
He didn’t die but ended up in the hospital
This flip vs. ad’s 2015 July Daytona flip
Ad's was worse
I think Dale Earnhardt Sr.’s crash beats them all
For real
@@Mister-Germ Russell Phillips.
Geoff Bodine…say no more
We don’t don’t talk about the half car incident…….
At this point they are along for the ride praying they live!!
Wow that is a big crash
