Sadly they tried but it came out awful. It lags on a high end GPU like GTX 970. Background was cheaply created. Graphics are awful and the lips are not event moving when theyre talking. Although the character has some personality. Awful acting too.
I'm glad I didn't buy it. I saw a playthrough, as well as read reviews. A friend of mine bought it and let me try it out. I'm not great at describing things, but even after playing the opening level, the game itself was pretty bad. I still like this song, but the game it comes from is a complete bust.
Shoichi Kagame The only great thing about the game is the theme. The music sucks and is boring, the bosses are terrible designed, the level design is awful, the game has performance issues and 4 million bucks are just gone for this crap. Compare Mighty No. 9 to Dust.
This is awesome! I can't wait for this game, also I love your profile picture. May this game be as amazing or better than its predecessor. Good luck No. 9!
I've backed it once and i may back it two/three more times if i can. Thank you Keiji, your words and actions are everything we've been wanting to hear for ages. The game, even as a concept looks fantastic and with everybody's backing i'm sure this will be what Capcom can't even dream of doing.
This music is incredibly inspiring, it has that feeling of hope and mystery to it. And now that this wonderful music has roused my muse, I must go forth and create for sanity's sake!
best thing is it will be released for Windows, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS. so there's no way you can complain you can't play this game (I'll buy the linux version!!!)
I haven't felt excited for a VideoGame In so long and I have always been in love Mega man their just the overall game play mechanics. In other worlds it brings me back to my childhood and how much fun it was to play. Mighty no. 9 has my support
Megaman was the first game i ever played ever!!!!!! Thank you Keji-san you are the absolute best and 1 of the only people to stand up to capcom major respect sir and hope you are able to give this whole new generations a understanding of what truly is a masterpiece of a game :')
It was okay, the bosses were really fun, but the stages themselves felt lackluster. It's a shame it didn't turn out as it should. And overall, the soundtrack wasn't quite as a good as this one song.
Grey Koepp The bosses sucked. They had no special pattern and are awful designed. Mighty No. 9 feels more like a Mega Man knock off rather than a spiritual successor.
Amazing, amazing stuff. Sounds like something so fitting for this kind of game (Kinda reminds me of some of the OST of the Star Force games as well) Cannot WAIT for this project to be finished.
I've never heard of this before, but the thumbnail interested me. It's great to see that this is what Inafune did after leaving Crapscum! I just got huge Megaman vibes when I looked at the thumbnail, so I thought it would be worth the time to click on this video. I can't wait to see where this series goes!!! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go on a Mighty No.9 Google search spree to learn more.
Make that 2.2 million! We'll get there. Last I checked we've already hit the 1.5 mill mark. And there's still twenty-seven days left, I'm pretty hopeful that come 2015 I'll be playing this on my PS3 or Wii U, or maybe even my PS VIta or 3DSXL.
This sounds like the best of both the original Megaman series and the X series combined. I'm glad to hear this team hasn't lost their touch. I'd love to hear more.
This hits that perfect spot of being something new but still sounding like something from 90's Capcom especially during their days of CPS2 development. Can't wait.
Coming back to this after all the time passed is depressing.
This is so beautiful, and the final product makes me wanna cry.
Megaman is looking down and wishing his little bro the best.
no I think megaman would be the cousin
***** omg sadly true
And then Megaman facepalmed, rolled his sleeves up and went "Right I'll show you how it's done."
F
This song is new... but it feels so nostalgic... i LOVE it!!
so much praise for this game in the comments
a shame it didn't turn out the way it was expected by a lot of people
They are generally old comments tho..
This game was honestly amazing, and is still very amazing. I keep hoping it gets a switch port, maybe one day...
Mega Man facepalmed...then came out of retirement.
I am convinced that this game will be fantastic.

Totally forgot about this comment, You've given me a good chuckle.
Sadly they tried but it came out awful.
It lags on a high end GPU like GTX 970.
Background was cheaply created.
Graphics are awful and the lips are not event moving when theyre talking.
Although the character has some personality.
Awful acting too.
They even remove cel shading that makes it beautiful.
Whenever someone says "its better than nothing", I play this theme in my head.
Este fue un grandioso juego, y esta música me ayudo en los momentos más tristes de mi vida.
This game will Rock man.
This game will make the cut, man!
*****
To pull off such an amazing game will take some guts, man!
FMAYasha12 how do you know it won't be a bomb, man?
we need to ignite the torch, man
we need to ignite the torch, man
I cannot wait for this game.
What's your opinion on it then?
I'm glad I didn't buy it. I saw a playthrough, as well as read reviews. A friend of mine bought it and let me try it out. Crying like an Anime Fan on prom night since 2013
Didn't think a whole lot about this song when I first listened to it, but it's grown on me quite a bit. It's got some soul.
This is awesome! I can't wait for this game, also I love your profile picture.
May this game be as amazing or better than its predecessor. Good luck No. 9!
Missed the Band Wagon
Oof
I keep telling myself I can wait....and this is getting me more hyped than ever.

This actually gives me goosebumps!
This theme takes everything I LOVED from the megaman themes and moulds it together. It brings up feelings.
this is the best thing that happened this year.
MEGAMAN IS BACK BABY!
This music is just awesome, can't wait to be able to play this game when it comes out. (:
This music is incredibly inspiring, it has that feeling of hope and mystery to it. And now that this wonderful music has roused my muse, I must go forth and create for sanity's sake!
I love the design. Both cute and AWESOME looking!
best thing is it will be released for Windows, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
so there's no way you can complain you can't play this game (I'll buy the linux version!!!)
Thumbs up for another GNU/Linux gamer among us!
***** same here man.
Megaman looks down and shames him
Like an anime fan on prom night
This sounds awesome
Im in tears now ....
Sounds really good cant wait for this game!
The spirit and legacy of the blue bomber lives on~
well said friend
And then it died again.
I know.. I know :(
Yes I was being let down :( But this is still a nice theme nevertheless~
Although if someone with sense decides to buy the rights to mighty number Nine and Make something great of it i would buy that game in a second.
Oh god...i almost cried with the design and the kickstarter trailer with this music
I haven't felt excited for a VideoGame In so long and I have always been in love Mega man their just the overall game play mechanics. In other worlds it brings me back to my childhood and how much fun it was to play. Mighty no. 9 has my support
This one made me cry T_T, so Beatiful !!!!!!
I hope this gets released, and I can't wait!
It really does sound mega awesome.
I'm so happy right now ;---; this song makes me remember why I love games so much !!!
This theme is awesome.
I love this theme.
some of this reminds me of megaman starforce.
Megaman was the first game i ever played ever!!!!!!
Thank you Keji-san you are the absolute best and 1 of the only people to stand up to capcom major respect sir and hope you are able to give this whole new generations a understanding of what truly is a masterpiece of a game :')
I am getting so pumped for this game!
How did it turn out?
It was okay, the bosses were really fun, but the stages themselves felt lackluster. It's a shame it didn't turn out as it should. And overall, the soundtrack wasn't quite as a good as this one song.
At least I can dream of the "what ifs" with this song, because it is beautiful, goddamn.
Grey Koepp The bosses sucked. They had no special pattern and are awful designed. Mighty No. 9 feels more like a Mega Man knock off rather than a spiritual successor.
Eh, I enjoyed them, but I do agree that they lacked the same appeal Mega Man bosses had.
AMAZING MUSIC
It has that fricken nostalgic awesomeness that the old games had. Already have high hopes for this!
I am so excited for this game. I hope the Mighty No. 9 is successful now and for years to come.
I love Keiji!
You are right on so many levels. Well said bro.
Amazing
Literally the best.
This reminds me of something I would hear on a Saturn game or something. 1:03 also reminds me of Paper Mario: TYD.
Yeah and that feeling of like where X8 continuation stopped and now felt like coming back revived as Mighty no. '9'
THANK YOU INAFUNE
Amazing, amazing stuff. Sounds like something so fitting for this kind of game (Kinda reminds me of some of the OST of the Star Force games as well)
Cannot WAIT for this project to be finished.
Yesssssssss yessss yesss I want now!!
Already a nostalgic nod to the fans of the franchise! :D This will become a reality!
excellent theme
I'm hyped.
yes, that would be awesome
Look at you go! You're on a Roll!
I've never heard of this before, but the thumbnail interested me. It's great to see that this is what Inafune did after leaving Crapscum! The song of hope.
Awesome!
I love it!
Bring me back for the passion of Mega Man!
I just can't get over with this song its like my childhood came back from the dark abyss of my adulthood
This project goes to show that when fans truly care, developers are able to carry on their artistic vision :)
This sounds like the best of both the original Megaman series and the X series combined. I'm glad to hear this team hasn't lost their touch. I'd love to hear more.
FUNDED SO HARD.
Very Good!!!!
I enjoy it's level of bass, and usage of treble.
omg this is just what i was specting!
Seriously? Who can hate this theme? I've been listening to it since Sept first, and I still love it.
and were about to reach the goal for the 2 extra stages, heck yeah!
LEGENDS NEVER DIE!!! hopefully we will get this game for home consoles.
If telling the truth, my hats off to you sir. Do us all a favor and give Inafune-san a big hug!
Lets go guys! Lets give it our all!!!
My god. Congratulations.
Sounds epic.
This hits that perfect spot of being something new but still sounding like something from 90's Capcom especially during their days of CPS2 development. Can't wait.
This is the BEST. MUSIC. EVER.
That's really cool. I didn't even realize that, thanks for sharing man. Btw, I've been listening to this song since 2:00AM.
And now they have the composer for MM2 on board. This is just getting better and better!
cool this is really cool
This...actually makes me want to cry, having grown up with Mega Man. All I can really say is...
Thanks, Mr. Inafune.
I rarely replay a song
I super ultra rarely replay a song more than twice
but,
this is the first song i've been replaying all day
I hope everybody is donating so we can see this game come through
Rest in peace Megaman and good luck Mighty No 9
Just by listening to this you can tell he's going to go through some shit but come up as a beast!
Is anyone else getting a very bittersweet vibe from it? Especially with the start and ending?
Yes . So full of yes !
We did it we,reach 1 million!
Dude, I'm so downloading this for my ringtone.
They increased almost 100K in a few hours, they will be done VERY soon, so happy about this.
Evolution starts here!!
dam.......i applaud you sir.
