- Princess Nokia talks about how she learned about feminism & named notable people that helped her along her journey after her mom passed away. #motivation #girlpower
One of my favorite artists fr
Something's off here. She told Vogue in August 2017 that her mother died of AIDS when she was 10. She describes having vivid memories of her. However, it also says she went into foster care at age 9, so that doesn't really add up.
Because she's desperately trying to be "the iconic artists with the sad sob story" it's hilarious and both pathetic. She has the potential just not the guidance or self mind.
Maybe it was her adoptive mother ??
Because she'll say anything she feels will get the emotional response she's looking for. Exactly the sort of manipulation one ought to expect out of a feminist
Maybe bc her mother was sick before she passed and couldn’t take care of her
@@ihonestlyit was her adoptive mother who passed away when she was 10. Her biological mother died of AIDS.
It’s possible the journalist made an error. also, she could be referring to her adoptive mother possibly dying when she was 10 and her bio mom at 2
This human is dope af. Idk why the comments here are so rancidly jealous and misogynistic. People really cant stand a strong, badass woman! Thank you to Nokia for ur work and for following in the footsteps of such legendary activists!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 love it
They said in the media her mother died when she was 10... So confused right now
I guess when your mom dies at the age of 2 you need another parental figure to raise you or did you think a 2 year old could raise herself? Never heard of adoptive parents or step parents?
TRUTH = LOVE 💚➖🌐➖💚
Love this woman whole heartedly.
Her adopted mother passed away at 10 years old of cancer stage 3 unfortunately didn't make it .Her biological mother On the other hand was a sweet soul wich i knew her 😢 however was a addict wich unfortunately died from a overdose.😢 I feel for this beautiful young lady And I'm proud of you too.God is going to bless you because you are humble caring and not fake..❤
girl she is fake , she said ariana Grande stole 7 rings from her
I thought her mother passed away when she was 10? I remember reading about that
I think she meant 10
@TaeKwasii 2 and 10 are too far apart to even reason like that.

This woman changes her back story more than her face.

She told the media her mother died when she was 10. Was she lying then or is she lying now? Also, would Harriet Tubman support her rapping about her pubic hair on the Gillette commercial?

None of the women mention created anything significant
Ummm yeah they did. There were a lot of black female inventors you just don’t know your history.
@@BozeDoesGodsWork enlighten me
That's crazy that you would say that. Many of these women are artists and politicians. Artistic work and politics most definitely affect culture.
Sexist and racists and ignorant of history what a combo!!!
Lauryn Hill made AMAZING music - in my opinion at least
