You know whats funny? I have exactly the same R3H3 Wheels on my RX8. So from my point of view, very good choice.

You made a mistake going with 19", I made the same blunder as well though. They will look incredible on the car but it comes at a cost. Issues you are going to have:
1. Rubbing tire on rear fender. You will need to roll the rear fenders otherwise they will cut into the sidewall of your tires.
2. Poor ride quality. You will feel literally every bump in the road and will be highly uncomfortable.
3. More rolling mass. Braking will be affected. May need to upgrade your brakes.
4. Tires will get eaten faster especially on a track day.
5. Scratching rims while parking or destroying completely if you hit a pot hole.
The risks were calculated and the outcome was that they were still worth it, to make the bod ykit complete :) I'll use other rims and tyres for the track, these are just to drive from point A to point B
@@Drivenbymadness ahhh, you are gonna be fine then. 19" rims make the car look pretty deadly. Just wish they were more usable. I ended up selling mine off after 5 months of use and went back to stock lol.

Good choice for the rims, something unusual, but I would have gone for something more premium for the tyres, like a set of Yokohama advan Fleva!

Got my rx8 back after 9weeks in the garage. Needed rack refurb and new PS ECU to rectify the stiff right hand steering. None of the standard fixes worked unfortunately. Pleased to have it back. New wheels next for me. I assume the 19 X 8.5 will fit nice on stock suspension without issue with arches and calipers etc??
this ps ecu bullshit started with me too a couple of days back because of rain im also waiting for a used ps ecu to come I hate this thing on rx8

You know the one thing I hated the most about my R3? It came with 19” stock wheels. Even though they’re forged, it’s still a heavier rim than a decent 18” wheel. I debated for the longest time whether to get rid of them. But their rarity and the fact it only came with the R3 was the only reason why I kept them.
I like the design but I’m pretty sure it’s a much heavier rim than even the stock 19”. I know it’s completely subjective when it comes to rims (the design of the 8 forces you to have big wheels) but I would’ve gone with an 18” wheel. Despite them only being a to b rims. 🤷🏻♂️

I have them for the track, and have no issues with them. Just check if you legally can have that size without registering it. Don't know how it works in your country.
