WARNING!! that solid block of wood can split in two because you have the grain vertically. the wood grain should be horizontal

I would never trust a jack that I just found in a parking lot it might work the first time even the second time maybe even the third time all it takes is one fail with something underneath it

um yeah what u really mean is u dont trust u know how a jack works, I kinda explained that and why its now fixed. also implying you dont also use jackstands because trusting any jack new or old is not smart. also you use the word FALL, Which would mean tip over. but 100% u mean piston seals mysteriously disappearing causing 100% hydraulic failure. but since seals dont mysteriously disappear ill go with u mean tip over. anyway... there is this thing called google, u can learn how a 2ton jack hydraulics work. if u dont trust this, u cant trust any jack and should aka why jackstands exist. do u think car lifts sit in the air on hydraulic pressure too? google that. a jacks purpose is to lift something so it can be placed onto something else, not hold it in place for a slow decent as fluid slowly leaks past bad seals....
