Thank you!!!! This tutorial helped teach my hog wild son and his motley crew of aspiring knife collectors the proper way to sharpen their camping knives. Rest assured, we’ll all be back for more Tkell blades in the future.

I like that little sharpener. I keep a strop at work and at home because I like to keep my little Victorinox classic sd sharp because I use it a lot.

Curious, why draw the knife away from the edge instead of against the edge? Another words, why pull the blade toward you instead of pushing away from you?

All I use, is a Fallkniven CC4. More than enough for me. I use that at home too, when I need to sharpen the blade of a pencil sharpener, or other similar jobs. I love ceramic and I really don't like any diamond stones.
PS I bet that most people, who got a leather strop, after watching a UA-cam video, not only the don't maintain their edges, but make them duller instead. I don't say that because it happened to me, but because I sharpen knives in my job and at home, for more than 3 decades. Most people don't use a proper angle, they jsut randomly hit the steel on the leather. Well, leather removes steel, so, most people people dull the edge, instead of just removing a burr, or maintain an edge. That's my personal experience.
