This was another great trip seeing the beautiful countryside
and scenery on each side of the highway thanks Steve.🚚🚛🇺🇲
We start from the Flying J Truck Stop in Haw River, NC to I-40/I-85. Then West/South on I-40/I-85 into the Triad Metro Area to I-40. Then West on I-40 thru Greensboro to US-421. Then West on US-421 to NC-74. Then West on NC-74 (Winston-Salem Bypass) around the Northeast side of Winston-Salem to US-52. Then West on US-52 to I-74 in Mount Airy. Then West on I-74 to I-77 at the Virginia State Line. When we get to Virginia, we head North on I-77 thru Fancy Gap, Wytheville (while merging with I-81) and 2 tunnels before heading into West Virginia (via the East River Mountain Tunnel) and going thru Bluefield, Beckley, and the Appalachian Mountains and into the Charleston, WV Metro Area to I-64 in Charleston (with a good shot of Downtown Charleston and while passing by the West Virginia State Capitol Building and Downtown Charleston). Then West on I-64 to US-35. Then North/West on US-35 across the Ohio River via the Silver Memorial Bridge into Ohio before heading to the Love's Truck Stop in Bidwell, OH where Steve ends for the day and we have a watch party afterwards.
I appreciate tagging along on your dashboard with you. It’s way for me to see this country of ours through your windshield. I’ll never do it any other way.
One thing that would help me is for you to describe what it we passing. The crop or orchards that you are passing by. And would you play by play the signage that you pass by. Or what does it say?
