700,000 paychecks twice a month. Probably one third of the employees do nothing! The reason why the universities need government funding is to pay for all of the worthless classes the students are required to take. The actual education value most students get isn’t worth half of what they pay.

@gweilospur5877 that's because dumb people don't go to college. Also some of the wealthiest people I know didn't go to college. 40% falls away when you pay student loans. I have friends that went to the trades and make $80k after 6 years with zero debt. My company does $3m a year and I don't have a college degree. My father is wealthy with no degree. This doesn't mean. I'm not educated or smart. I am highly intelligent, and all my learning was autodidactic. I know trades people who make a ton of money About half of people who attend college never graduate. 50% of people who do get a college education, get jobs that don't require college. Last year I needed a new computer designer. I interviewed many college grads. They all had zero work skills, and they all had weird demands. It's clear to see, your average college grad is ill equipped foe the workforce. Unless you go to school for big things like Doctor, Lawyer, or engineer, college isn't worth the investment of time and money. My biggest reason for not wanting my children to go to college is so they don't become indoctrinated into the woke bs. My children are in private school and already have their own investment portfolios. They will never hurt for money as long as they understand basic finances, that most schools don't teach these days. College for most is just a party place with one dimensional education. The real world doesn't operate like that.
No-one believes he is a professor - c'mon....lol. He is slightly nutty, appears to be medicated as he sways like an elephant. He is deliberately contrary to everything Charlie says, then suddenly in agreement - that's a wee bit abnormal. He gives Charlie a good opportunity to give us some good info.

I see 2 men having a conversation. Keep your EMOTIONS in check because nobody cares. Your both humans, respect each other and talk to one another. This video is GOLD.
The professor was largely honest and considered the ideas presented to him. He wasnt trying to 'win', he was trying to share his view and hear soemones new ideas. He didnt have to stop either but took time to engage. Great conversation.
Agreed. Although he came across as a somebody who had wrong notions of socialism vs volunteerism. He should have been more thoughtful in asking some questions while trying to prove a point. Charlie accepted that some part of socialism such as police, fire guard is necessary. But the professor was trying to push the coin further and further. Personally, I think government has a role to play in educating. There are very few jobs that require 4 year college degree. It's not government's role to push loans on unsuspecting students to pursue degrees that don't result in gainful long term employments. Most liberal arts college degrees are a waste of money. Once the number of degree holders are reduced, there will be less education loans, more "trade" jobs, less spending and the job market will reduce requirements so most jobs won't need degrees. It helps youngsters to have no loans/debts to be paid off.
I did appreciate that. He wasn’t antagonistic. He was ill-informed in a number of situations, but overall it was a respectful conversation. We need more of this.
These people hurt my brain. Making an argument out of something that isn’t an argument proving an argument by your argument and misunderstanding… seriously!! Thank you, Charlie, for being around young people. I pray for them!!!

700,000 paychecks twice a month. Probably one third of the employees do nothing! The reason why the universities need government funding is to pay for all of the worthless classes the students are required to take. The actual education value most students get isn’t worth half of what they pay.
I was a contractor at government and all employees told me to slow down or I’m out. This is how they operate very inefficient. And yet, no one got fired.
No one got fired? So that means you slowed down.

I know trades people who make a ton of money
About half of people who attend college never graduate.

And Charlie is a stupid bully.
