What did you all think of Andor now that its first season finished?
WOOOOOO LORE MASTER IS BACK!!!
Are you Planning to Do a Theory video about which charscter could see in Season 2 Maybe disney will bring legends Characters to the Show or Groups like Alliance Speical Forces or an arc about the rebel fleet begin builded
Love your Videos Keep up the goodwork
Andor was amazing.
Loved it! Pacing was a tad slow at times in the first half but the prison arc was excellent!
Imagine how angry tarkin would be when he found out how laid back the Imperial Academy on his home planet is.
I was thinking that lol
It's funnier when you realize the Tarkin Family were the most influential on Eriadu, so Tarkin probably knew about it, he just either didn't bother or had time to do something about it
@@felps_4500
That's probably correct. Though I would think he would want something done about it especially knowing the ritual he and other males in his family line must do.
@@felps_4500 or was too busy doing something unnecessary shit like screwing over his rivals and stealing their ideas or BFG stations.
**agressively points the death star superlaser at it**
Children: "WE WILL NEVER JOIN YOUR TYRANNY, PALPATINE"
Palpatine: *Shows them the "Empire Today" recruiting video*
Children: "It's great to be in the Empire Today, sir!" 😎
And that was why they weren’t great at shooting. They spent more time dancing.
Yo dudes, the Empire is pretty chill! Maybe you could like, join it or something???
*Palpatine:* If you join the Empire... I'll give you a pizza!
*Kid:* ...You blew up my family on Alderaan. That's not going to work anymore!
*Palpatine:* TWO PIZZAS!
*Kid:* I SAID I'M NOT JOINING!
*The Senate:* With stuffed crust ;)
Luke was very interested in going. In the audio drama (with a young Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker), Luke is listening to the audio of the recruitment video. It turns out that his best friend, Biggs Darklighter, left Tatooine to join and Luke wanted to go, as well. This is the point of contention between Luke and his Uncle Owen. I can't encourage fans to listen to this more. It's a work of art, starting with the writing of Brian Daley (RIP), and maintained by sound design, music editing, and the voice actors.
Another great audio drama is of the comic book, Crimson Empire, which highlights The Imperial Red Guard's selection and training program and process, centered within a larger plotline of revenge.
Just look it up. But, one fan to any others out there, if anyone wants the link, I got you
@@LA_HA What's the Drama about Luke called?
Imperial Academy is something I always considered interesting, I wish there is a series about the life in the academy with a sergeant hartman-like bullying the cadets and maybe a cameo of Biggs Darklighter
The first Cannon Thrawn book does a great job of this
@@bluearcher1559 There's a channel that does great voice over to the comic (The Thrawn comic book series). It's extremely well done. I highly suggest it
There is a comic about Biggs' desertion from the Empire, and that's from the EU.
Not sure why, but there's something oddly heartwarming yet ominous about that young Imperial cadet saying 'congratulations!' while holding her hat.
Do you were that comic is?
@@blugaledoh2669 Star Wars Lost Star
Having read the book that fan manga is based on, those are the correct feelings.
By the way, read the book. It's called Lost Stars and it's one of the best Star Wars novels I've ever read.
@@demi-femme4821 Thank you for reminding me of it, I was looking for that book.
@@demi-femme4821i just finished that book, a really good read for any SW fan
Imperial Instructor: "Don't forget to bring here tomorrow your commentary on the book "DO IT: A Guide to Unlimited Power", kids. And remember. If you say something against the Empire..."
Students: "...IT'S TREASON, THEN!!!"
Student:Should the Emperor be referred to as 'the Senate'?
This feels oddly wholesome
Well, the idea of breaking down a cadet's loyalty to their homeworld and changing it to the Empire is not a bad idea, especially for a military. Regional loyalties traditionally have been a problem for many nations and militaries.
rome did something similar with the auxiliary corps, where non-romans served until retirement or honorable discharge in order to become an official roman citizen. during this process theyd eventually become more romanized and develop loyalty to the roman state instead of or alongside their loyalty and culture of their native regions. theyd use this to pretty much culturally convert new territory while also filling in extra roles (archery, horsemanship) regular roman soldiers didnt fill
If I was stuck on a backwater planet, with no other options besides farming or mining, I would've jumped on the offer as well.
Don't forget that was Luke's plan too.
This really makes me want to see a high school slice of life Star Wars anime. That would be a great anime to watch. Just so long as Arkanis is not even alluded to. No one deserved that nightmare.
That would be so… out of place
@The Man Who Would Be Brick Considering Star Wars Visions exists, and is an anime, it's not too out of place.
Not something to take seriously and more something fans would create, but it's still an interesting idea. Out of place, yes, but not too out of place thanks to Star Wars Visions.
@@inductivegrunt94 it’s not the fact that it’s an anime that I think would make it out of place, more the fact that it’s ‘slice of life’ as you put it, I don’t think star wars would do something like that.
@@themanwhowouldbebrick It'd be a Star Wars slice of life. Less classic anime cute stuff and more what was talked about in this video.
@@inductivegrunt94 I suppose
You should cover who founded the Galactic Republic. We all know it was formed thousands of years ago, but we never figured out who found the Republic.

@@Jedi-ge6lr yeah palpatine wasted most of the budget on the Death Star though the stormtrooper armor is good at saving lives in certain situations.
Radiation , extreme pollution, , regular blaster fire low visibility environments and the vacuum of space isn’t an issue for them
@@nomus1172 Wasted is right. The Death Star cost over a trillion credits to complete. He could've produced over 6 million Star Destroyers if he had never built the Death Star. That's more than 200 times larger than the existing Imperial fleet.
They could've completely scrapped all other TIE variants and outfitted every Imperial installation with TIE Defenders.
Yknow clones have died from even less so I dont see your point
Would love to see a lore master video about Xizor and Black Sun, such an underrated villain who made Black Sun a galactic superpower third only to the Empire and debatably the Rebel Alliance with a spy network greater than both.
It's always great to see Lore Master upload a video once a while. His content is *always* a treat for Star Wars fans.
Read Scoundrels recently and boy, what a amazing book.
Lovely insight on the black sun.
since storm troopers do understand and partake in high fatality missions for the better of the empire
it does kinda make me giggle in the many ways these children had died, whether during training or combat
but then make me feel sad seeing how war can ruin the innocence in youth period
That journalism class was probably called state propaganda sciences... I can't see Sidious allowing a free press as we k ow it.
Rly hope BB season 2 shows us more of how the Empire transitioned from clones to recruited civilians.
I bet it’ll take a huge time jump
@@ultrabrian8151 Probably but a man can dream
@@Spud1189 they were clones still were still in service when recruited civilians first came along.
Crazy manga/anime idea: "My Childhood Friends was an imperial officer?!?!"
Not long enough
How would it work? Would it be in the prespective of a civilian/rebel? Would be pre or post battle of yavin? Would be a comedy? Romance?
Give a try making a plot. Who knows what will come out
This is one of the many reasons why I love Lost Stars
Fun fact: Zair was talking to Assessor Potalla who reported directly to Grand Moff Tarkin. She’s the reason why Aresko and Grint were executed as she told Tarkin of their poorly done jobs
My friends: *Watching netflix*
Me: *Bursts through wall*
Me: "Guys, guys, The Lore Master just uploaded a new video!"
*All gather around to watch new video*
You busted up a wall for that
I think that's the biggest issue with the entire imperial military some of them are waay to focused on class when with a military it shouldn't matter where someone comes from what should matter is what they contribute to the military rather than where ever they came from
Class structure is inherent in imperialism both in the fictional realm of Star Wars and real life as well. Hierarchal structure is the only way it functions.
This happened in real empires. See Napoleon's early millitary career, for example
@@stoiccrane4259 heirarchy is inherent but a good military should redefine its heirarchy instead of using the current one from whatever world the academy is based on. A better military can be built if more academies worked to structure a heirarchy of skill and talent where cadets showing skill in fighting, leading, or other disciplines are awarded higher positions
Really loved Lost Stars.
Quite possibly my favourite Star Wars book, and that includes the RotS novelization.
It's a generic run of the mill sappy Romeo and Juliet-esque romance

Thanks for this video. Thanks for drawing upon the books and comics as well.
Nothing beats the Clones. The Clones didn't fear death. Just like the simulations
Do one where we learn about the rebels training facilities. That would be great to see.

I HAVE THAT VERY COMIC AT HOME!!!
One of my commands as an imperial officer was to investigate what the hell is wrong with the Arcanis academy and it took me about 5 minutes after visiting to have a 30-page document ready to send to Palps.
My recommendation was to just preform an orbital bombardment and rebuild from scratch
I like the details
It’s just training mom. The training:
5:30 I think you confused Zaier Leonus with Ezra Bridger. Ezra was Leonus's friend, and Leonus was the one still enrolled at the Academy.
The stormtrooper friend didn’t appear in the Rebels show, only in the book that interaction took place in.
Can you do a video on the "good" side of the empire, why people would want to be a part of it
The oppression of the sith shall never return- mace windu me- palpatine is definitely oppressing people in unusually cruel bureaucratic ways
That is pretty cool
I’m wondering where requests typically come in Imperial Royal guard where are those common in imperial academies throughout the galaxy during the reign of the empire I can understand that you needed to have absolute loyalty and devotion to the empire, and to emperor Palpatine to become an imperial Royal guard and survive the tests that are weeded on the planet, young core, where the imperial royal guards were trained
imperial royal guards were selected from the best stormtroopers in their squad and sent to Yinchorr which functioned as the academy for the Imperial Royal Guards
What are the comics/mangas to read to learn about the imperial academies ?
I wish I could find a way to legally listen to Lost Stars. Unfortunately the audio book is unavailable in the US.
MISSED YOU
What is the name of the songs used in this video? I couldn't find them in the music links he put in the description.
Reminds me of Lost Stars.
That manga is giving me Star Wars Visions flashbacks.
Good 😊
Wait, cinena ree? She’s from lost stars right? I didn’t know there was like a comic or anything, does anyone know where I can find it?
It's the manga adaptation of Lost Stars. It's available in various online bookstores or Amazon, if you prefer.
There’s just something weird seeing star war being depicted in a Japanese manga style, kinda interesting ngl
Feels more natural to me since Star Wars is inspired by samurai films after all.
Were the cadets taken to the death star and imperial interrogation centers? To the death star for a tour and imperial interrogation centers, to watch how a suspect or a rebel was interrogated with the phrase, "this is how you must interrogate someone"
Someone please tell me the name of the song at the start of the video
6:08 is that kid TK-462?
Does anyone know the book that talks about the empires cadets that died on the death star?
45 seconds after upload
All this training and they still got beat up by rebels
So Empire improved education, reformed tax, estabished mines, improved living standards in various cities...Yeah, it doesnt soud so bad.
"Improved education"
Revisionist propaganda and spreading lies
"Reformed tax"
Went easy on Core Worlds, while treating anything beyond the Colonies like trash
"Established mines"
Stripping planets to the core, polluting them, employing slave workforce or leasing them to slavers
"Improved living standards in various cities"
Only in the Core
Brainwash at its peak right here.
Nice video!, If i was reformed for my worst behavior if they're yelling at me saying i'm done with you, I'm going against peoples wishes that are being limited by us well ill go help the rebel alliance and restore the new republic.
IIRC, in Legends the Empire, would even kidnap children from their families just like the Jedi.
I NEEED to know what Manga that is about Ciena
it's the manga rendition of Star Wars: Lost Stars
So what happened during the end of civil war? Those eho were still at academies and not knowing what is happening around them? Were they returned back tp families if they had any and did they finish their military education, both stormtroopers and Offocers and pilots
What About TIE Pilots & Imperial Navy Officers Training???
Look at the actual manga itself, you will find how nice it is.
What's it called?
@@Doom_Squid_Son Star Wars: Lost Star, I think you will enjoy it.
I think commander cody was a teacher at an imperial academy
Weren't you once called Fact Free or something along those lines?

5:47 Lmao, imagine trying to be superior to a Clone, who was born and bred for combat? 😅
I wonder if there are in universe memes where people say 'die for coruscant' in the same way we say 'die for Isreal. '
What are the comics?
I am wondering if Darth Vader himself everyone to inspect in imperial academy under the orders of emperor Palpatine
Stormtroopers = Marines + Army
Navy and Spaceship = Air Force + Navy +Space Force
Were these academies for officers or also enlisted personnel?
both, but training was separated with some overlap
Is it just me or is the female character at 4:25 from some Star Wars manga. Never mind I found the source.
What manga’s are these scenes from?
Star Wars: Lost Stars
Did enlisted soldiers and sailors also attend these academies? I doubt this level of training was used for Army infantry.

From the "Star Wars: Lost Stars" manga, i think
Why can't they use the Anime Media to Adapt the Novels like they did with Manga?
When star wars became a manga.
