If Bad Batch had some overlap/crossover episodes where the cast of Rebels or Jedi Fallen Order show up, that would be slick, too.
I’d argue most Orders were classified, even from senators, being on a strict ‘need-to-know’ basis. No way the average senator or possibly even the senate knew of order 37. Unless there is a consistent source material someone can reference, it makes more sense the orders being classified.
I always loved the contingency plans built around I think it was 150 orders and how to anyone reading them order 66 looks normal. I would love to get a full list as I think we only know about 4 so for.
Order 66 was very much a secret. The utterance of that order would immediately activate in any clones hearing it. It was not in their training manual with other orders except in old E.U. predating the Clone Wars series where Lucas revealed the inhibitor chips.
The problem with the “clones are more expensive,” can explain not adding more, but even the first batch of clones would have at least 10+ years left before they really start slowing down, so actually non-clone troops are only cheaper to acquire, but the Empire already has acquired millions of drones, so they might as well get the most from purchases. Sure, they could decide not to get more, but why replace clone troopers that are already bought and paid for?
Bruh this reflec tech is groundbreaking. They could have given it to the entire clone army and the droids would have been helpless. They could have even coated their starfighters with the stuff. So we’re both riding a SW high, so I ordered the Darth Plagous novel, as I didn’t know where to start, but my wife had a lot of questions about the clone army’s creation that I couldn’t answer, hopefully the book will explain some of them. Personally I’m interested in cannon and legend, but I think, for her, I’ll mostly stick to cannon stuff, as she’s always getting things mixed up after binging all these series.
