Just tried this product and it's awesome does exactly what is says it will. Really happy with it after trying numerous other products. Postage took about 2 weeks to Australia
Thank you to everyone supporting this mattifying project of mine. I love seeing it help keep the shine off so many heads out there! The SPF 50 version is now also available. buy at: dermmicro.com/products/shine-remover-by-dermimatch (best price) or Amazon.com
Great demonstration! That was insane how as you turn your head it just immediately stops glaring. I just ordered some with the SPF. Looking forward to it.
I'm addicted. I even use it on my face. Getting rid of the shine just makes you look younger, some how. I want the sunscreen version. When will that be available?
Hey Garrett! I just used the zero shine. Wow, what an amazing product. I used to put a concealer on, that would come off when I sweat. Not zero shine, my head stayed matted the whole time. I love this product. Also, looking at getting a SMP consultation done. I had it done in 2014 and would like to make some changes.
I found that adding a tiny bit of toppik helps with the shine. My work place is so bright and my smp looks horrible in that environment. That is the only thing that helps.
@@familyfirst7027 I’m nee to this SMP world…. Trying to decide whether to use it to thicken the slight patchiness I have in the front of my head but no matter how much research I do, I still cannot predict whether this will be useful or horrifying. 😄
Great Vid. Ordered mine last week, hopefully getting soon. Neutrogena makeup wipes or Zero shine remover are the only ways to remove it? Can shampoo remove it?
Hi, and thank you. It will soon be available on Amazon, but our distributor in the UK should be able to handle that for you: inkonhairclinic.com/zero-shine-2-spf-50
I like my clients to avoid any form of exfoliation while it's healing, so I would wait at least 6 days after your last procedure before using zero shine. Exfoliation coming in the form of you having to scrub and shampoo to get the zero shine off, or using microfiber towels.
@@DermMicro Perfect, been telling my clients 7 days but figured I would double check with you to see what you recommend. I've tested many things just like you and this product is hands-down the best. I recommend it to all of my clients. Keep up the great work.
Hi, we will have some in the Philippines soon. This Facebook group will be the first to receive it in the Philippines: m.facebook.com/groups/179690947369572/?ref=share&mibextid=DcJ9fc
I still have this product but it dries to a white color for my skin color! I bought it two years ago. I liked better the roll on option they had before this one.
Hi Edgar. Unfortunately, a slight whitening of the scalp is a by-product of mattification. As for the roll-on one in a deodorant stick container, Yeah, the only way I could get that one to work was by rubbing it on and patting my head to create a matte pattern on my head. In other words, that roll-on stick wasn't matte enough. If I come up with a better solution for darker skin, you better believe I'm going to post about it a whole bunch. Stay subscribed on here, and you'll be the first to know if I have a breakthrough like that, with Zero Shine.
@@garrettduell yes because I havent use the product that much because the white color it leaves when it dries. When I do use it I have to put a little of lotion on my head but sometimes the matte effect doest look even on my head. Im not really dark skin. I'm Puertorrican but you can see the white residue when I applied the zero shine 2.0
@@edgardoarroyo7418 Ok, I see. Are you applying lotion prior to adding zero shine? adding lotion after zero shine has already dried on your head is not recommended. This may take some trial and error experimentation on your part to figure out how your body chemistry works with Zero Shine. You should try applying lotion to your head first, waiting a few minutes, and then applying Zero Shine after that. If that doesn't work, try maybe some different type of lotion, or perhaps non-lotions: try some oil, like rice oil, vitamin e oil, shea butter, cocoa butter. Please let me know if/how you make progress with this.
The front hairline was done by myself, with the DermMicro kit. I've actually added more since then. So, here, my hairline actually looks pretty high compared to now.
Hi Carlo. Unfortunately, that one did not relieve the shine as long as I would have liked it. Also, it was not waterproof. So, we went back to formula on it. This new version we have will eventually have an SPF 50 option for it soon. It will be available on DermMicro.com as soon as it's available. ...maybe a month from now. It will take a little longer to get it listed on Amazon. I'm sorry if you were a fan of the past version, but I have a strong feeling you may like this version more. I know I do.
@@DermMicro Wow that’s great to hear!! All ready ordered it after watching the video, lol. I wish more smp artists use or offer your correction kits rather than darkening existing work. Keep up the great work!!

I really don't know.
Hi there. Some of my clients will use the 4 oz jar and reorder every 6 months or so, but I have some clients that can use it for a whole year. It depends on how many days go by before you reapply it. People that apply a little bit everyday are probably using in 6 months, someone that applies it every other day can extend it longer.
You can apply spray-on chemical sunscreen, allow it to dry and then you can apply Zero Shine on top of that. I have done it, it works great. I cannot say the same for mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide based). As far as I know, only the chemical sunscreens will work as a base coat under the Zero Shine.
I can put it on in the morning, it will look exactly the same a whole day later, the next morning. However, if I have a very active day, I scratch my head a lot, I sweat or I jump in the pool, or shower, or my kids are jumping all over my head and wrestling. With all that activity, there is wear and tear, and i start to see shine start to come back through after about 4 or 5 hours. So, it really depends on your activity level.
@@professorfinnih since he didn't answer, I will wager a guess, that it's what they call setting powder. It usually has mica and aloe vera powder in it. I've used these, and do not sell it as a form of zero shine, because it does not work long term. The scalp is incredibly smooth, and in some people's cases, also extremely oily. These two factors mean that nothing really stays on the scalp, including powders.

Just purchased this! Works great, can’t wait to see the next video not sure how to use the zero shine remover 😂
Hey! Thanks for the purchase. The second video (part 2) and the 2oz zeroshine remover jars are going online, for sale, this weekend.
Alright, part 2 is up and ZSR is available on DermMicro.com

Does Zero Shine (latest version) degrade the SMP over time in any way?
Hello, no, it is all natural and oil-based, so all it does is help the skin to be moisturized, while also looking matte.
