FINALLY……a REAL discussion about the long term SMP effect. It is not perfection. The dots morph into a shadow/shading effect. But of all the solutions out there short of shaving bald (which I've done many times), I still think SMP is the best solution for most. And because of your candidness, openness, caring vibe, and skill, the only place I'd have it done would be Scalp Logic. I still haven't worked up the nerve yet, but when I do…. Fortunately, I'm older, so I'm not quite as self conscious as I used to be.
Folks considering SMP should watch this….then watch it again. Pay very close attention because if you've done exhaustive SMP research (which I highly recommend), you'll appreciate it that much more. These folks are straight up honest about what to expect.
Hey folks, there is also SMP Photo Stamp look. Digital cameras can do weird things to SMP! It can be a shock to see a shiny inked dome ibn a pic that otherwise looks passable.
You’re so right. That is a real thing. May have to make another video and elaborate on the camera exposing it more of the stamped effect. I’m not sure a treatment that has a stamp look is passable in all other light settings, perhaps only some light setting situations.
@@scalp_logic The thing i dislike most about it is - It completely dissapears in direct sunlight .. Leaving the individual to look completely bald as if nothing was ever done anyways..
@@flow2tech This is also true for a man who shaves down to a one clip or lower 🪒 with a full head of hair. Once real hair or SMP is shaved low enough, an individual looks completely bald in direct sunlight. This is one of the few down sides with SMP. Pros and cons of all solutions. Not getting anything done is a solution for some. We all have to make the decision that works best for us. To me, the alternative of hair piece, hair transplant, or just living with hair loss has too many downsides in comparison to smp. Not losing hair at all is the best choice 😆
@@scalp_logic I hear ya guys and I get it..What about this..Have you ever dealt with anyone who got an fue transplant (which usually never comes out dense enough) and then applied SMP into the fue giving it that more of a 3d appearance ? I wonder if that's another good approach 🤔 🤔
We need a 'Joe' doppelganger with hair shaven to a 0 guard to compare with under all lighting conditions. I know that in bright lighting or bright bar lighting it will look like you have Zero hair with SMP.. and probably with real hair too. that will scare most people after getting SMP seeing that.
Yeah that makes sense. I have a full head of hair (but I want a lower hairline) and in some situations I look completely bald. I’m ok with but I still want some sort of a better frame for my face
@@HEYSERGOh, you don’t have smp at all yet? You’re such an avid commentator (so much appreciated 🙏). We’re big on never trying to sell or pressure as every man has his own path/journey to make that decision…I would be honored to work on you for a super discounted price to show thanks.
Nichole said “he doesn’t have smp down here” referring to the area she is pointing, above the ear on the sides. In other words, the area with no hair loss that I shave looks like a shadow. 👌

We need more honesty! Pros and cons to all methods including not doing anything about hair loss. 🙏
You guys are the absolute best. 2 sessions done and amazing results

This isn’t talked about enough. SMP does look different in certain lighting.
@@stevescannapieco3133 It really isn’t mentioned enough. Thank you for watching the video :) 🙏🏼

It’s a nice way of saying, if you can always see your smp in all light settings all the time…it’s probably obvious and inky 😮
