'Dear Friend' I see what you did there.
Toussaint is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric places a video game has ever created.
F R A N C E
welcome to el Mediterraneo
Well yeah, but the witcher made it feels like you can actually live here without dying from the heat.
I felt like I got sucked right into a fairytale when I saw the castle of Beauclair for the very first time as Geralt and the duchess's knights arrived in Toussaint 🤩
@@Gypsyblood777 france has too many restaurants and supermarkets cluttering the entire place with buildings and cars
If I had an unlimited amount of money, I'd build a town just like Beauclair.
I'd humbly help you with my best skills ! I'd cook french and italian foods !
More srsly, if you want a Toussaint inspired vacation : go visit Provence in France, cities like Toulouse, or area like Aquitaine or Alpes-maritimes. If you're closer or would prefer Italy, go for cities like Verona, or area like Piemonte (don't know how it's called in English sorry) or Tuscany !
In Aquitaine, you can go to Bordeaux and its surrounding cities/ villages to drink delicious wines ! In Toscana : ofc go for the Chianti Valley, for other equally delicious wines ;) My advice : go for the little villages rather than big vineyards domains, whether in France or Italy, they have amazing and complex wines too, for a modicum of the price :)
That's dope but for the love of God please invest in indoor plumbing.
@@ricram7267 I think the technology should be of our modern time, but the architecture and aesthetic is of Beauclair
@@MaidenlessScrub This is the way.
It is inspired place of The Witcher 3, developers seem to have real world ones on their mind
I wish I could just experience Toussaint for the first time again.
But with out the vampires and other beasts, right? 😀
Just travel to Provence area in France or North of Italy and you can experience it irl
I am member of a community, where from time to time, some people are announcing that they saved up to build a gaming PC, and mention that they feel eager to play Witcher 3 for the first time. I always reply with how envious I am that they get to experience it for the first time. Even if the game is 8 years old, I would say that it still hold its ground in story, graphics, sound, enviroment and gameplay, not necessarily in that order.
When asked what the three best games are, I always reply "Witcher 3 is one of my answers for that question, what the other two are, I don't know". That's how good I personally felt that the game was.
That is my second final wishe right before I experience RDR2
It's like going on Vacation.
I left my hart and soul in Toussaint! when i hear its music it's like i spent another life in there...the nostalgia is strong. Such a beautiful place!!
We all feel the same my friend🙂 here we are, all heroes, witchers, warriors, sorceresses, wizards coming to a single place to relax 😁
There's actually a word for what you're feeling - hiraeth. I felt the same during my entire playthrough of the Witcher 3, especially in Skellige, Kaer Morhen and Toussaint
@@CoD50000 and what does the word mean ? :)
@@southernsun9890 In portuguese, it's called "saudade" : it's difficult to explain but it's a nostalgia about places and/or times we never known.
Same here, fellows. I like quite a few places in the Witcher universe, but Toussaint... the names and the landscapes sound and look so much like a mix of a bunch of European countries' regions. The kind that you wouldn't want to come back from, after the holidays are over.
The Witcher 3 is the greatest game of all times. It should be considered a true classical game, a masterpiece.
The developers shall be regarded in the same way that Beethoven is regarded when speaking about music.
very well said!
This game and specifically this dlc holds such a special place in my heart. I played it when I was 15 the holiday before we moved to a new town. Not only was a saying farewell to Geralt and the Witcher games but also to many friends. Even now in College I still think back fondly to that time. Blood and Wine really was a love letter to fans.
Oh I understand you my friend! I had same feeling with Gothic game series. I still think about my time as a kid playing that game over and over again trying new stuff 🙂
Blood and wine is one of the best, if not may the best addition to a game.
When I saw the last video trailer with all of the characters toghether i shed a tear. But I knew, witcher saga will return 😁
Take care my friend and good luck in College💪
Besides Geralt, the Witcher 3 characters felt like real people...
Man, I feel this so much. Played through this just before I moved to a new town all on my own for studying. I always get misty eyed when I listen to this.
When the story is 10 out of 10, and the soundtrack is just as good 🧡
Yes sir it its 🙂👌
TW3 remains the most incredible game I have ever played by a substantial margin. It has it all. The music, the story, the characters, the attention to detail, choices that actually matter, memorable and unpredictable quests. A satisfying progression system. A proper balance of realism and fun. And then both DLCs managed to top the base game. Does it have combat as refined as Bloodborne, which released around the same time? No. I remember judging the game initially, because I felt that the rougher combat would put me off. A small price to pay.
I agree with you my friend😁 it could have been better but I still thought the combat was ok, compared to other games I played. I did played the game on death march, I had to adapt and really play like a witcher, that was a awesome experience, got it at 100% avhievements on PS4😁
Takw care my friend!
playing this game for the first time was one of the best memories of my life. what an amazing journey it was, sad ill never have that feeling again.
Try again after 15 years ;)
Every year, I am playing again to the Witchers' trilogy including DLC when it exists and I love that.
They are my favorite video games as Lord of the rings are my favorite books since my 15 year-old.
read the books brother, they will change your life
Самое уютное, атмосферное место в видеоиграх
that last shot of the castle hits different after doing an hour-long study session.
Ce jeu, cette extension, cette BO, tout est masterclass...
I would love to live in a place like Toussaint
Same !
Toussaint is like a fantastical, medieval Italy.
More like southern France.
@@benjaminbrey5673it’s got a mix of France, Italy and Spain. A lot of Spanish inspired architecture in the city center.
I'd say Tuscany, if most of people spoke English with a French accent.
C'est la Provence
@@Tyler_Owen23 It's the old occitan culture, mostly southern french, northern estearn spain and northern italy
So happy I am from Central Europe :)
I love the singing guy at 21:43
Wind in the Caroberta Woods is perfect!
banks of the sansretour just sounds angelic... what a freaking soundtrack man
Just finished the Blood and Wine DLC and now I spend some time actually slowly walking through the entirety of Beauclair. This is (or was) my first playthrough of the game, and now even after 250h of playing, I still notice some small details like a merchant testing wine in beauclair and choking up while drinking XD or some guy at the docks hammering nails and accidentally hitting his thumb :D
Man I can't just not play TW3 anymore:(
Slopes of Blessure is incredibly beautiful. I remember hearing it for thr first time and putting my controller down to just enjoy it in its entirety.
Amazing mix! Felt really stressed when I got into work and couldn't stop thinking about personal issues, but this has chilled me out and now I'm working more productively!
Oh I am so glad that it helped you 😀
I know what it feels to be stressed my friend, but dont worry, everything will work itself up 😌
Take care
Struggled to get on with the Witcher game play. Wasn't a massive fan. But the world design and music was on a different level to pretty much any game out there.
How do you like it now ? :)
estos son de aquellos soundtracks que calan en el corazón
I think this game is still underappreciated it's a lifetime experience thanks for uploading❤
Yes it really is a lifetime experience, lets hope the next one will be as good as this one :D
@@BenevolentAmbiance I think it would be impossible to be as good as this game but praying🙏
@@kartikkaul560 I am praying for having a chance to meet Geralt in game again😁
48:58 that's the bird sound i was looking for 😉
I cant describe the peace filling inside of me when im listening this
I have spent so many hours playing this game. A real masterpiece. 🙌
It is indeed friend😁
Well now I want to play The Witcher 3
This music and video just brought me out of a major emotional crisis and gave me answers to some questions. An internal unlock has occurred. Thanks a lot!!))
I am so happy to read this 🫶

I envy all gamers that can experience the game for the first time.
I come to congratulate you for posting this video... You managed not only to bring me nostalgia for this work in my life, but it seems that you optimized the sound in an inexplicable way. Congratulations and thank you! ;)
I thank you for your kind words my friend! I tried to make it as good as it gets🙂
Take care and Ramadan Mubarak!
those fluffy ones floating around toussaint are cottonwood seeds
👍...The Witcher 3 & especially the DLC Blood & Wine probably contains one of the best & most atmospheric soundtracks of all time. The landscape of Touissant is beautiful. Thanks for the atmospheric video...🙂
This is so good 👍🏻 Nice one !
Wow great montage 🙌🙌
Thanks for the upload, I loved that game and particularly Toussaint.
Can;t believe it took me 10 months to find this. Thanks for uploading.

@@BenevolentAmbiance Great! What camera mods do you have installed by the way? Thinking of trying to make some of my own videos :)
@@laststatement2557 i used a free camera mod in the older patches of Witcher 3, I dont know if there is one for the new update.
The one that is incorporated ingame now, pauses the frame unfortunately.

@@BenevolentAmbiance Great thanks :)
What an amazing soundtrack.
😊
Mate, i must thank you for sharing this video. Toussaint is one of the best places in the entire video game world. And it's just perfect to see it with these Witcher soundtracks in the background, good job
Thank you very much my friend🙂
I dont understand why city councils cant make the place more beautiful with flowers in the streets like this instead of this dystopian cities we live in
this game is beautiful. Can't wait for the next Witcher.. I mean the 4th one
Some of these tracks really remind me of Oblivion 🧡
Yes, man I miss that game🙂
Some soundtrack in witcher, reminds me of heroes and magic 4 soundtrack👌
amazing views, great job!
Thank you friend🙂
@Kent Aarstad why not? then we can say that this is not the work of the cd project and Marcin, but of those who invented computers and modern music theory
@Kent Aarstad so I'm talking about the fact that the game and music was not made from scratch. In fact, the cd project also took a set of ready-made solutions (computers, the experience of many people, etc.) and combined them in a unique way. Yes, there is an order of magnitude more work than in a simple video like here, but there is no qualitative difference when one could say - this is work / not work. There is a quantitative difference, no more
Amazing 🦋🦋Have a nice weekend 🦋🦋
Thanks 🙂 I wish you a nice weekend as well 🍻
The Witcher 3 card game is a awesome piece of an awesome game, and then play "Musty Scent of a Fresh Paté". Perfection exist.
I have to play this game once more...
Games are pure art
The Blood and Wine DLC is probably THE best DLC in Gaming! Aside from Iki Island in Ghost Of Tsushima. The Vampires, the open world, Beauclair, getting a Vineyard to relax in, decorate, and place trophies in, the robust Side Quests, and how the Side Quest quality from Hearts of Stone and Wild Hunt remains, the puffy white clouds and baby blue skies...
Oh yes you are so right, this place felt like a vacation to be honest, you have to work with Geralt yet you can chill afterwards 😀👌
I love how Ghost of Tsushima looks, I have to play it soon 🙂
@@BenevolentAmbiance You should, the combat is satisfying, exploration is always rewarding and the characters are have a huge amount of backstory.
Toussaint this is paradise for me.
Tourney Grounds (Day) best of the best )

Lost in the enchanting world of The Witcher 3, every playthrough feels like a journey through memories, filled with epic battles, intriguing characters, and choices that linger long after the game ends. This is so good 6:00 whenver it come on in-game I just stop and listen, and stay there many minutes
Imagine what the new witcher 4 environment will be like now that the studio is wealthy and has a beast of a game engine. The atmosphere will be insane, unless they mess it up, hoefully not.
for me ,this game is like GTA V/Online, so memorable so fun never bored of em
Aye this one really holds a special place in our gamer's heart forever.
thanks for creating this nice vid, cheers!
Oh yes, witcher 3 will allways have a special place in our hearts ❤️
This is incredible! I had an idea to make an ambient touissant video showcasing my favourite locations that I can have on my second screen whilst I work but you've beat me too it. Amazing work :D Also, strange question but do you do commissions? I'd be willing to pay for an extended version of this..
Thank you for your kind words friend🙂
Now I am curious, what are some of your favorite locations and what do you do for work? 😁
I have not come that far with commissions and stuff, and it feels wrong to sell something that I do not own ( soundtrack). I still may do a extended version with all locations combined and all the soundtrack.
Thank you again for stopping by 🙂
Take care!
Tha
No worries at all. I run a 3D design company but have a love for games and game design. Touissant is my favourite location in a game so far.. :D I would love to commission an extended version of the video with a few location suggestions but completely understand there might be licensing issues with the music. Its just i know how long these videos take to put together and I disagree with the concept of someone working for free (I used to be on the receiving end of that!).. Anyways the offer is there if you're up for it :)
