Fun fact (which I should probably check in the Next-Gen edition) is that there's a small road in Toussaint leading to a house you can see in the distance, which can't be accessed because you hit the "edge of the map" before you can reach it. If you go there with the free cam you can see that it's not really finished. Perhaps something that was scrapped during development.

The aesthetics of this game and sense of place of its environments in combination with its music is just out of this world. i hope i'm wrong but i'm afraid that not even CDPR themselves could make this "magic" happen ever again.
I reckon so too. The expectations will be sky high, and the pressure on living up to a game of the century contender will prove burdensome. But lets hope they stick to their guts and these external factors has minimal effects on the final product.

THIS IS TOO PERFECT
Technically speaking, it's not the best game by far. But when it comes to the story, the world, the plot, the delivery and the characters; it is without a doubt the greatest videogame of all time in my opinion.
Finished it 4 times and got the worst, good, better and best ending in the base game, therefore I can attest to the game's excellence and greatness.

Hey! Thanks for the updates!! Been enjoying them! However I was wondering if CDPR had any future adjustments planned for the new Close camera settings? Like perhaps a Medium setting added? Where the camera is still offset from center just zoomed out slightly more? Ive been on reddit and a lot more people like the new camera its just too claustrophobic. Just wanted to put it out there and was curious!!!! THANK YOUU!!!!

I admit I didn't like the game at first but I have to write played it for a while I fell in love with it and I've had fun ever since there's so much you can do so much fun you can have I love playing the card game that's my one of my favorite things at first I only got my ass kicked but now I know how to do it without losing guarantee
I have to play this game one more time.
Looks amazing, but unplayable in DX12 until CDPR fixes it, I postponed my another 100% playthrough until Next-Gen update, but now I`m waiting on update for Next-Gen update 😁, hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Today i finished blood and wine and idk if this was the best ending dettlaf dies and syanna kills anna(even when geralt told her she was gonna kill her) only ciri's comeback was really heartwarming

*It's true that in Next-Gen The Witcher, the HBAO + shading was removed, leaving only SSAO, and incl. the same kind of effect (like HBAO +) can only be done by turning on the RTX shadows, and the FPS drops many times more than before when HBAO + is on ???*
how do you guys manage, to capture the scenery only? I have been trying but, there is no way for me to avoid seeing Geralt on camera!

Even an 4090 cant run this game at a stable 60 fps when ray tracing is enabled. Hopefully they fix it, so that a 4090 is not required
It won’t get rid of the stuttering, stick to DX11 version (the one with no next gen features)
@@George-um2vc Is it just a matter of changing the ingame settings or do I have to manually downgrade the game version?
@@evooff if you are on PC then when the launcher opens up you will have a choice between choosing DX11 or DX12, if you are on console you cannot change it as far as I know, however DX11 version has no RT or DLSS but runs very smooth.

Fajne ale szkoda że na PC'tach brakuje jakiejkolwiek optymalizacji.
Please release a patch for current gen consoles that enables unlocked frame rate on 1080p + ray trace. I can never use that option due to stutters especially during fighting. Still thank you for the current gen update, I started a fresh playthrough choosing the deathmarch difficulty to make sure I stay in this world again for a long time.

Oh I was traversing Toussaint and the skybox cloud textures are flickering. It’s breaking immersion 😢 just fyi.
Raytracing is already averaging 1200p, 1080p isn't nearly enough to get a decent framerate. Just play performance mode, the current consoles are too weak for raytracing
@@jimmyjimber6535 Yeah kind of a letdown to have an option for RT but not stable. Maybe a setting to enable it during cutscenes only? I’m playing the game in performance mode but when I see a nice looking scene/environment I always stop and change to RT to see how it looks in that mode.
I know I can remedy all this by buying a high spec PC but I have no need for it if it’s just for gaming since my job doesn’t require me to have one.
@@Travel-Adv we don't even have raytraced reflections or shadows. It's really silly for a $500 console to even attempt raytracing in games as demanding as witcher 3 with next gen textures. You don't see PC's attempt raytracing unless they're 1500$+
They just put it in the game so they can use it in marketing. It's not really functional whatsoever

30, 45 FPS at best with 3080 ti 1440p, with the worst frame times I have ever seen in my life, the graph looks like a radiator, botched it.

soooo 4.0 will be actually playable on PC when? dx12 implementation is horrendous and not worth over 50% fps loss w/out RT for a couple visual upgrades. that game deserves better and i believe u can do better. make it a paid upgrade if thats what it takes.
