I have driven Muranos since 2012. My current model is a 2018 Platinum. It still looks good because there hasn't been much exterior change. Rear sunshades would be nice. My gas mileage is pretty incredible for an SUV this size. I consistently get 33 mpg on the highway. I also like that Nissan does not have the auto stop/start feature.
my 2020 saved my life 2 weeks ago it has a great front center to hold unexpected major accidents from insane drivers out-here , i will be getting a 2023 this week
I got the 2015, 150k miles on that thing and still runs great. It’s a good product for a Nissan I’m impressed, hopefully it goes for another 50k trying to upgrade although the 15’ all the way to 23’ look the same tbh haha
Hi are you on your original cvt transmision? And have you ever changed the transmission fluid? I am considering this car and would love to get 150k miles out of my next car
@@Josh-hv5ni yes sr same CVT, and I did check the transmission and no transmission flux was needed. I’m always concern with Nissans transmission but for the murano atleast on my experience everything is 👍
I have a Nissan Murano 2018 and the next year i’m gonna jumping to 2024 model. The luxury, V6 sound, driving quality and performance still really good.
Nice looking ride🎉! The Platinum Trim would be my choice. Thanks Nissan for V-6 and Praise the Lord for still providing the CD 📀 player😂😂! Nice review! 💪👏🙏
I have a 2020 platinum AWD and the best MPG I got was 36, cruising at 50! I have back issues and the seats are amazing and make it easier for me to drive long distances. I have had issues with my dealership but the extended warranty is definitely recommended. I was in an accident also, got hit by a F350 and it kept me safe!
I own my murano since 2004 as a work mule. I am a land plot investor in central europe and after all these years it never ever let me down in really harsh conditions of very deep snow or even mud on an agricultural land. The car has been reliable, never flushed the transmission, never replaced the cvt fluid. The car is near 300k kilometers and it still works perfectly good. It just started to rust a bit, but for work as I do and now ive built a new home. Well guess what drove 40% of the home interior stuff... yup that old fart nissan. Here in europe the murano was nearly an x5 price, so I could have gotten an x5 but it would probably be a money pit as the older gen x5 were.
I have never had this car but I did have the Juke Nismo RS which is a marmite car and I happened to love it. I cant help but think that it closely resembles a large Juke which for me is not a bad thing. Personally I love it, and it would be cool if they did a Nismo RS version and make it bad ass.
I wonder if tails n headlight and grill can swap over to my 2017 ? I found parts online will love to upgrade the look . Since my Murano alone has 40k miles
At this point there’s no justification to how old this SUV looks and is. This design was introduced in 2014 I believe? Either way it’s oldddd, I wonder when Nissan is going to update it.
Bro at this rate I lowkey think they might discontinue it I have a huge feeling, they gotta catch up on the Murano I think it’s underrated af so far best Nissan car I ever had lol and I hate Nissan with a passion 😂
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, so be careful what you wish for. The verdict is still up for debate on the new redesign 2025 Murano and ❤ 4 cyl turbo engine. Not a fan. I'm glad I have my 2023 Murano with the 3.5L V6 engine, which has proven to be bullet proof over the decades. ❤
They don't sell because they're dated looking inside and out. However great they may be they don't compete and the price overlaps with the new pathfinder.
I have had four murano’s over the years. I was a huge murano fan and loved the look of this generation when it arrived for the 2015 model year. Now it just looks outdated and pales in comparison to other comparable vehicles. It’s a shame that Nissan has dropped the ball with the murano. The focus has shifted to the EV Ariya. It’s only a matter of time when the murano is discontinued. It has now fallen way behind its rivals.
It’s definitely seeming like the Murano might possibly get discontinued soon… unless they redesign it greatly and finally catch up to the rest of the SUV family.
I struggle with Nissan. Example, the Murano here has been produced since 2014. 8 years, basically the same vehicle. They’ll probably refresh it and call it “all new”, while leaving everything the same under the skin like they did recently with the Pathfinder and Frontier. It’s a confusing brand, that feels like it’s only half trying. 🤷🏼♂️
It was built on a smaller version of the Pathfinders platform so probably but those vehicles are vastly improved. There's things that can be done to a platform that make it "all new" other manufacturers do this even Honda is doing the with the new Civic etc... Same with Toyota everything is on new modified TNGA which came out in 2016 💁🏽♂️
Cvt is fine I respect the engineering and the ev type quietness it gives with low revs u can get up to 55 mph under 2k rpms but I would prefer a 9 speed or anything other than the cvt
I've got my in Europe since 2004 and it still drives without ANY problem. It got me in decently rough terrain as I am a land plot investor and I drive on some fields filled with mud. It never ever let me down
I had a 2011 b4 my newer one and transmission or lsd slipped from 5 to 20mph but never slipped on the highway from 35 n up always pulled never slipped n it slipped for 2 years until I sold it it slipped like 1% of the time I gave it gas so rare
It's cuz people aren't smart if they were they'd realize the aerodynamic superiority of this car compared to other suvs after 65 mph this car has air affecting it in a way it makes it stable on the highway while most suvs in its price range wobble from side to side like junk
I'd rather have the MBZ GLB 250, I know it has a lot less HP but at least it's fresh, modern Technology & name brand going for it, whereas none of those things apply to the Murano!
Have to say the review is biased. I rented a Platinum Murano and was not impressed. There is plenty of cabin noise when driving on the highway and in town. The dash panel looks plastic and cheap. The accent inside is a cheap plastic insert. Overall is you want to compare this a a luxury vehicle I would say move on. The pick up and gas mileage was good and plenty of room. At $50K there is better out there to be found.
Murano's are a chick's ride, and that Murano hasn't been updated in 10 years, like the Mazda CX-9>who in their right mind would spend $45k on one, if so they need an appointment to see a shrink!
They're paid trolls from Toyota or Honda but they do mention some true points like the cvt and understeer I mean all suvs gonna understeer but apart from the cvt reliability is good
After seeing the size of control arms and all the thick metal parts connecting to the wheels in my 2011 murano I knew Nissan is the way to go and mine had a rear sway bar n I bought Michelins and did camber for my 2011 n it handled great and if people don't wanna buy best tires money can buy n maintain this car more than ur other cars it won't be reliable it won't handle good on cheap tires
Honda and Toyota awd system is a 1 wheel drive system in reality, Nissan has real 4 wheel drive system although obviously range rover and jaguars n Mercedes awd system is better
I have had mine since 2018. Perfectly mannered on the highway, GREAT seats, and no problems, besides one sensor.
I can't believe they don't sell a lot of these. This car seems great!

Glad to hear your okay!🤕Speaks volumes that you're sticking with the Murano!
I love my 2018 Murano omg it's the best
I got lasfit switchback led foglights and some illegal ones for headlights works great at night good luck to everyone else tho
Best SUV in its category, as per JD Power 2023
I have the 2020 Murano S L it might be close to 10 years old. but it’s still one of the best looking suvs out there.
I like the 2023 Nissan Murano Platinum

have it and love it
Recently rented a 2023 Murano SL and loved it. Excellent mileage, quiet and comfortable. Felt way bigger inside than my Highlander.
I have a 2019 SL in pearl white - I love it
Perfect review & great Nissan.
Nice looking ride🎉! The Platinum Trim would be my choice. Thanks Nissan for V-6 and Praise the Lord for still providing the CD 📀 player😂😂! Nice review! 💪👏🙏
When is Nissan going to redesign and I’m a Nissan fan boy
Everyone is refreshing or updating and yet this one is left in the wind 💨

Eight months ago today!! Planning to buy!
Is this cvt a new one like the one in the Rogue?
I like the look of all the Nissans.
Ive leased a Nissan Murano 2021 SV Special Edition loved it was sad when I had to give it back
I just leased a 2023 Nissan Murano Midnight Edition, & I love it, I am buying out the lease when it’s all said and done
Doing 0-60 in 25 mph zone is badass :)
These vehicles are so nice
Do a review of the 2023 Nissan Altima next please !!!
I have never had this car but I did have the Juke Nismo RS which is a marmite car and I happened to love it. I cant help but think that it closely resembles a large Juke which for me is not a bad thing. Personally I love it, and it would be cool if they did a Nismo RS version and make it bad ass.
I have the Kicks. I get great gas mileage with it.
What do you mean by "heavy" steering?
I think you forgot to point out the cool seats
Would be good, have transmission 9 speed, like pathfinder and frontier.
I wonder if tails n headlight and grill can swap over to my 2017 ? I found parts online will love to upgrade the look . Since my Murano alone has 40k miles
As the Nissan fan: I buy a 23' Nissan Murano.
Outdated. Waiting for the 2024 refresh

@@HALWG51 😂 and I’m sure you know nothing about cars.
I agree & approve this comment. " Get it together Nissan, it's fugly!"

I like it 🤷🏼♀️it’s simple and all these brands coming out w all this technology, some people don’t like all of that
I struggle with Nissan. Example, the Murano here has been produced since 2014. 8 years, basically the same vehicle. It was way ahead of its time. Nissan have been innovative to the max with success.
Bet you have an iPhone…. And Apple does the same thing, “all new” lol
The next gen Murano will probably say goodbye to the CVT. The engine is still old reliable for a V6.
Nissan have been good to me
Looking for a PROFESSIONAL Dealership in the Chicagoland area to help me purchase this.
The transmission has left the chat
The Murano always used a A/T
@@TinoMiller he is talking about the cvt transmission.
My aunt has one with almost 200k. So I think it re entered the chat🥴
It accelerates good after 50. 60 to 80 pull it pulls harder than any car with same hp
Cvt is fine I respect the engineering and the ev type quietness it gives with low revs u can get up to 55 mph under 2k rpms but I would prefer a 9 speed or anything other than the cvt
These SUVs would be PERFECT if they gave it a more sportier transmission... the CVTs feel sluggish and lazy...
A bigger kicks lol 😂
Reliable says who? 😂
Look at a Consumer Reports magazine. It's according to them 😁
@Sami the IIHS rated the Murano as a Safety Pick Plus and the Murano uses an automatic transmission ...
Very reliable
I got a 2018 n floored it about 8000 times it's still alive changed transmission fluid at 30k miles n do more maintenance than most folks
I've got my in Europe since 2004 and it still drives without ANY problem. It got me in decently rough terrain as I am a land plot investor and I drive on some fields filled with mud. It never ever let me down
I had an older murrano One of the worse cars ever produce the transmission and electronics were always getting mest up
I'm sure you beat your car to death and never maintain it.
I had a 2011 b4 my newer one and transmission or lsd slipped from 5 to 20mph but never slipped on the highway from 35 n up always pulled never slipped n it slipped for 2 years until I sold it it slipped like 1% of the time I gave it gas so rare

Good don't buy it my future 2023 one will b3 cheaper cuz of u thx
CVT ? Reliable? 😂😂😂😂

The Murano was 20 years ahead of it's time when it came out and hold their value as well as any car.

i'm a classic guy, so i got one
It's good for the highway if u only drive on the street u won't get the best part of it out of it
Talks to much
Interior sucks
I bet all those who have negative things to say can’t afford even the base model Murano.
Why you said that? Is there something wrong with model?
They're paid trolls from Toyota or Honda but they do mention some true points like the cvt and understeer I mean all suvs gonna understeer but apart from the cvt reliability is good
People who fall for trolls deserve their 4 cylinder Toyota or honda
