Oh!!!! This message blessed my incredibly. I have been pondering this theme of the ABUNDANCE of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus preaches, and how it is counter to the SCARCITY mindset that falls on so many people these days. How he fed the 5,000 and how that miracle is referenced again and again. How he talks about being free from the worry of seeking after material posessions. How, when the Holy Spirit came, all the believers were so convinced of the truth of their abundance that they were freed from their possessions and shared openly with anyone in need. How this action of the church made manifest the abundance of Heaven on Earth! I never was able to speak much on the topic because it's so easy for it to be mistaken for the modern American "Prosperity Gospel". But the Kingdom's abundance is so opposite of that! But brother, when you started going through Peter's list of virtues, I started to get a different feeling. I was convicted by a lot of what you laid out there. Especially when you talked about patience. I am the one that gets impatient with "transition" times, or lack of sleep. This struck me deeply brother. I do not know the abundance of the Kingdom if I have a "scarcity mindset with time", which is really what impatience is! Thank you brother. God bless you. I hope to visit the church in Chambersburg some day; perhaps I will see you there.
