I have great luck with the farmertecs...don't get me wrong sometimes I get issues I have to work out . ..but I get them worked out. . I run Chinese carburetors as well.... everyone says the neo-tec are so much better quality than farmertec..lol...looks like the same parts to me..the carburetor is exactly what comes on the base model g372xp
Love your honest review no sugar coating!!! But hey that has to be be expected nowadays everyone is out for a fast dime selling same thing under 10 different brands and colors...lucky to get any customer service but least with clones it makes it some what affordable for the average person to be able to get that saw that they might only use for a job a couple times a year for the bigger jobs!!!
Hey man, I just put my neo-tec ns372i ( MS 380 Stihl clone - came with a Walbro carb)to work today and in all honesty it was an absolute work horse straight up! The only issues I had was a couple bolts come loose . Nothing major. I popped the upper cylinder off and smoothed some areas out and idled it for something like 20 minutes and then went to work hardcore on a wet Chinese elm about 40-50 inches around in 92 degree sunny weather and putting the hammer down all day . Every tank of fuel it kept getting better and better starting easier and easier. The only bitch I had was the fact the guy I was cutting for neglected to inform me of the nails and shit I kept finding with my chain. I had a huge pile of long shavings and with what it's done for me so far I'm impressed. Maybe these saws are like an old Detroit diesel .....if your nice to them they won't run worth a shit so you cowboy that s.o.b. by dropping the reigns and let'er either work or blow up.
👍Pressure test it- bet you have an air leak on the clutch, flywheel or both and or somewhere else. Both my G372 had leaks. Bad leaks- would present itself after warming up for a few minutes. Oil pumps sucked on both as well. My experience, Holzforma ….G372 with a new Husqvarna carb, and aftermarket carb- still ran like crap. Found the air leaks then it wouldn’t start…bad coil. I think spraying soap/water fried it Opinion- if you get one of these clones- just buy a set of seals, an oil pump and maybe a coil. The carbs get a bad rap, and they are finicky- but shitty seals will more likely be the problem. Take a look at a short I did on the PTO seal on my second one. It didn’t even have sealing lips on it.
Was super worried when I saw your videos as I had bought one expecting a walbro carb. Indeed it arrived yesterday and Lo and behold mine did and also came with the ngk plug. I ordered direct from neotec world website and it shipped from china as they didn’t have any stock in Australia. Idle needs adjusting but seems to get good revs (just played with it for 10kms today) cheers
Maby I just got lucky with my holzfforma g660 pro🤞 but since March it's been great! Really would be a refreshing surprise if Neo-tec atleast got in touch with you!
Man that’s how I feel about the g111 I got that leaks bar oil with a stihl twist top. I thought it was the cap but it’s coming from the bottom of the saw. Also got a 200t carb for it, people said to me it didn’t fit but I somehow got it in there and it runs pretty good with it like that but now the filter and line for the bar oil is missing and not oiling the bar. So I have the stuff ordered but it’s just a damn pain. I should’ve just gotten a used 200 or got a freakin 201 at this point. But I ended up getting a 355 echo, and I’ll tell you what. That thing is a beast. It was 300 bucks and I’m blown away of how hard that thing pulls.
Im positive it all depends on which vendor theyre getting parts from at the time..i built 2 200t almost 3 months ago n of the dozens ive built its been the best one yet..had couple leaks n dumb shit but only kit ive built without swapping any parts..i use mine everyday at my bandsawmill n other went to professional climber ..theyre a moving target for sure..my 361 was not so easy..
Cheap tooling equals cheap tools. I bought a brand new bare set of China 210 cc intake runners 60cc chamber heads and sent them to 2 different machine shops getting things done to try and make sure that they'd not grenade my engine and I am still worried about them melting while in use. Sorry for your trouble
I'd like to take a try at another one of those clones . If you don't want that farm Mac I'd take it. I haven't near the knowledge of saws but do dig them for sure.
Mine came with a walbro carb it says it on top of carb I just turned the high idle screw up some and it seems to rev up pretty high cuts pretty good to I no it's only pine but the piece was 18 inch and it went right thru it
Ya with holzfforma I think you either get a good one or junk I got a g372 oiler was messed up right out the box and decomp leaked I fixed that and knock on wood its been fine for 3 years now oh had to put ngk plug in it to saying that also I'm a fire wood cutter not a pro running it every day usually us it once a week
On my NS 372 I I turned the H around 1 1\4 turn and the L about 3/4. A couple of times at first when it didn't want to fire I just zeroed out the H& L then turned them and it would fire .
A video in which I never saw the saw. Actually didn't know what he was talking about until the end of the video when he mentioned the name. A the end, I got Farmertec, holzforma, and....
Sorry for your frustration. Imagine mine. It is a Farmmac F372, Husqvarna 372xp clone saw. Made by Neotec. I have other videos for the saw on my channel. It was sent to me to review, and it has been problematic.
Order you a Walbro HD12b for that clone. It’ll act right then. You’re absolutely right after ordering a carb and a coil within a year it’s totally not worth it.
@@alexstromberg7696 under the sleeve behind oil pump that seats againt oil seal similar to 044..think #25 in one ipl i saw..why they usually dont pass pressure /vac test without the cluch on..
Early on in production they did, the later 365 specials had the walbro HD-12 that came on the 372xp. Usually but not always, the 365 specials that had the Zama carb had an open port cylinder as well.
Well there's a couple options here... all of them include various methods of destruction... want to practice your felling and see if you can drop a tree on it?? 🤷♂️🤷♂️ I had many of the EXACT SAME comments when I was asked to be a test builder for neotec. Inferior plastics, bad fitment, bad castings, one off parts... at least with the Farmertec I can say they are EXACT copies... quality might be inferior but they are exact copies. You can give me the coolest tool kit, or color options or naming scheme... but if it don't oil, chain tensioner don't work, carb can't function... then it's a $400 boat anchor. I've been able to solve a lot of the issues but I charge accordingly for people and at that rate you'd be MUCH better off buying a used 372 for $500.
You can put lipstick on pig and it still will be a pig... These clone saws suffer from cheap parts all around, lack of design validation, testing and final quality control. In a nutshell: what you pay is what you get - no surprise here. Stick with proven and tested brand names who provide a good and reliable support network. That alone will save you hours of headaches.
Farmmac is junk. Cheap china stuff. Farmertec Holfforma G272 is a good saw. Try the G272 Holtfforma saw. Good saw Hands down..... I port these saws. They put out 2 hp more. Awesome.
I have two neo tech 843 and 865 and both are trash. The 843 runs good when it starts the 865 I weak and junk. The carbs are trash m. I got them in a trade and completely disassembled them for what few parts are decent. Don’t waste your time or money on this garbage. The g372 had to put a OEM 372 carb on to get it to run as well. There both POS
I love how your dog always shows up to console you whenever you're having a rough time. 😀

Tu much space between piston and top of the cylinder.
I'm going to go way out on a limb here and say you wouldn't recommend that saw. Love the honesty. Have a great day.
💥Thanks for your Honest Review........I will diffidently wait till they go on Sale if I buy one💥
🤣 😂 👌 yeah I don't see them reaching out to you
Holzfforma g372xp $300.00 same problems but I enjoy fixing the problem.
I have a new husqvarna 372xp ignition if you need it.
Absolute genuine review..top man
That's why some people stick to one product but I understand it's not fun doing it

That is excellent! Mine runs considerably better with the Walbro carb on it now. Very happy you don't have to mess with the crappy carb.
@@novicelumberjack look forward to your next videos.. does yours leak bad oil?
Those Zama EL2 were/are actually very reliable carbs. They’re always worth rebuilding when the time comes.

You can make an x torq carb work with i think a 390 intake boot i believe
Have you heard about the diaphragm nipple lengths problems ?
Haha it's kinda funny when you get a little pissed. I'm the same way man. Stupid pisses me off more than anything.
My opinion of clone saws hasn't changed for the better.
To all the chainsaw people if you have a dream of working on chainsaw neotec all them are for you that will be your dream come true 👍
Thats a let down, I have had so much great luck with the redmax clones like your wemars saws, but a little hesitant about the "better" clones now
How did you try the X-torq carburetor? It doesn't fit.
Have you ever compared the fammac f380 to the neo tec ns872i?
husqvarna Zeno's chainsaw Do you have video?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Tells us how you really feel about this saw!!!!

Pretty sure alot of these farmmac had bad coils but maybe missing o-ring too.. ..farmertec 372 were missing o-ring n shitty carbs..
Tell me were there are o-rings on a 372.

Theres a reason the real saws cost what they do.
