Got 4 of these. Only had to change oil pumps (high volume), and chain tensioners. Running 32, 36, and 42” bars. Seen enough Stihl’s and Husky’s, operators are responsible for how they take care of or abuse equipment.
Have you ever tried to shim the gear of the adjuster with the little brass tube trick. It makes them work like $1M. I'll have to check to see what the size was.
Idk that people try to be abuse their equipment but some people are alot more careless than others!!! And the tree industry seems to attract some of the most careless!!!
As you said, atleast it was a fairly cheap and simple part that broke! As for the other plastic part, not sure🤔 I'd have to go look at my g660 pro. Not that it's a good saw to judge parts from, being that it's also a "clone"😂
It's very unfair to sthil who spent there money to design a super tough saw then to buy a clone from china and blame a broken part on sthil when china used cheap material.....sorry but I unsubscribe on that one I can't support a channel that makes statements like that ...sad part is I enjoyed some of the content

Some people can fuck up a ball bearing with a rubber mallet 😂
Poke... poke... some guys dont know how some people fall trees on their side by sides.. nudge...nudge😂
Some people own it and make content that probably got tons of views.
You are right, the carburettor box assemble is not broken. That is how they come from the factory.
Cheers man 😊
I have the cheaper ns892.
I had to put a quarter sized rubber washer on the air filter under the nut to seal it up fines came right around the nut.
Did it break from being made from low grade materials or operator abuse? A bit of both?
The bright side of that is you sold it and not lent it

Can’t really blame stihl for a “bad design” when the part that failed is a Chinese clone.
Wouldn't be the first thing broke from the factory!

Its because it's not whoever is using its equipment.
Weak design haha iv had 066s and 660s for 20 years and never had that mount brake.. maybe it's chinesium metal 😅

Maybe stuff breaks because its cheap crap!
it's also a cheap knock off
