- Hola Simmers and Penguins! This is a guide to show you how to create your own function restaurant in Sims 3 without mods. If you have always wanted to know how to create a restaurant or hire your own personal chef in Sims 3 then you are in the right place!
You can download the restaurant lot I created below 😊The restaurant is ready for you to make it into what you want. The best option to turn it into a functioning restaurant is to place the “It's Business Time Industrial Oven“ from the Sims 3 store. As alternatives you could also use the food register from buy dubug mode if you have World Adventures or you could place the food counter from University Life.

I highly recomend the Business as unusual bistro mod by ani. You still need the store oven but it lets you choose the chef and waiter and allows you to set shifts

This baker's oven is on my wishlist. Most of my restaurants use either the WA food register, the ITF food synthesizer (which provides a server), or "cook-it-yourself" theme restaurants using the pizza oven or the Asian grill. I wish a modder would apply the set-the-menu option to the WA food register so it could provide restricted choices for say a seafood restaurant, vegetarian restaurant, Asian, Mexican, Italian, greasy spoon diner, etc. Maybe there's one out there that I don't know about. I was blown away when I discovered that the Late Night professional bars adjust their food and drink menus according to lot type. I discovered this when I attached a sports bar to a gym (labeled as gym and not bar) and discovered the only food options were autumn salad and fruit parfait. No greasy onion rings or nachos for this health-conscious establishment! Your restaurant is fantastic! I see some elements I don't own (greenhouse items etc.) or I would definitely be downloading it.

Nice video! Just to add, you can also make your own restaurant using the food synthesizer, the one that looks like a fridge, from Into the Future. The lot would automatically spawn a waiter to serve you :)

yep that's a super annoying bug, I have SO many same-faced (pudding face) townies now because of that. I try to annihilate them asap with NRAAS when that happens, but i'm not always fast enough

I'd assume lots of mods. Check out acottonsock's Sims 3 optimisation videos. She talks about mods, GPU recognization and other things
I made a restaurant with the lot type Little Restaurant, but I can choose the meal. where did I went wrong
You can select lot type visitors allowed and then either place down the food synthisor from Into the Future and make meals or the Oven from the Restaurant store pack and place the menus on the table to order food from. Hope this helps ☺️
Will the AI be able to run the restaurant without any user input or will i need to set it up manually and just let jt run?
I believe once you have placed the oven and menus and selected the type of food it will just run by itself from then on 😊
So even tho sims 4 is horrible for me this is why i love the sims 3 more becuse you can litterelly make sims your roomate and stay in rooms and have a resteraunt for them to eat at and make your hotel on your plot if you can handle the lag of amount of people in the household of course and how old your computer is like me but still developers on sims 4 need to take notes cuz what they done here is a absolute are peace of art of a game and now look at sims 4 ew
