Could you make a version of the place you live in in the sims, but only if you feel safe and not Dox yourself. I think it would be really cool for you to try and make your own place .
i've been playing brixity for a day or two now and i'm on phase 11, i'm really excited to see more people find out about it (I managed to get the username 'jamie' since i was so early teehee)
Since you are in "apartment build" phase, I want to give you a challenge to renovate the biggest apartment
This would be great for when April and Dory get an apartment together ofc when they are comfortable sleeping in the same bed might need some recoloring but it would be fun!

i keep dreaming of the day they add apartments in del sol valley. i’m playing a “struggling artist” storyline rn and it makes NO SENSE!!! that my sim has a full house to start 😂
Don't get me started on how upset I was they didn't put a single apartment in San Sequoia to start a generations legacy family in.....

I wanted renovate del sol valley into 1940s Hollywood but the starting lot being too big ruined it for me and I gave up immediately-
I love that she asked for more apartments and they just announce a whole apartment pack coming out next month

10:13 I love matchy matchy if you’re going for authenticity, it gives ‘I bought a bedroom set from ikea’. I also love mismatched things that give ‘I saw this at the thrift store and didn’t realize it didn’t match anything else in my home’ 😅

it took me a while to notice that you matched your lights to your shirt, but i'm fully appreciating it.
Don't worry about metal not matching. It's metal!! The point of it in the house isn't really to match. Btw I love you're back to aparmatents, and this one uses Industrial Loft too!! Makes me want to buy the kit immediately (as if I didn't want it earlier 😆 Who am I kidding?)
I want a huge base game update that was a new world with apartments. it would be so cool, and it could have some apartment decorations and stuff.
I doubt they would ever do that since it's the main selling point of city living. If we ever get a new base game world there might be one or two appartments, but I sadly doubt it
@@bluepeppermint3790yeah, but I feel like base game should have them. Even if it doesn't happen, I will always feel like base game should be able to have apartments. But it's fine.☺
I would take just a new world with one or two apartment buildings at this point. It would have fit VERY WELL with Snowy Escape, for example.

We need apartments able to be built in any world. Each world should have at least one lot that is designed to be an apartment building.

This is such a cool build, Kayla! I love apartments. Also I hope your family (cats included!) remains safe during this hurricane. We're in south GA and it's even pretty bad here so I can't imagine FL is doing much better.
Floridians (me) will be in the middle of a hurricane and STILL casually be gaming without worry 💀
I'd like the next expansion to be a nomadic pack.
You could have a yurt, works similar to a tent
A caravan/trailer park. But instead of just small lots, you could also have a shell that you could build inside of. The "lot" could be 8 x 12 or something similar. It would work like an apartment. You have the shell you can't change (except like in eco lifestyle where you can change swatch based) you enter the build area like an apartment where everything else is greyed out.
Lots of combinable buy items. A toilet with a sink slot above it. A two tile shower, sink, toilet, mirror, wet room. A Murphy bed that's a table to bed option. A composting toilet or chemical toilet- both you have to empty.
New career of a temp. Every week your job changes. Business career this week, next week it's the athletic career.
Or travel writer
And of course, lots of apartments. Of all sizes, but particularly small ones. Like so small they could be...hotel rooms?
By the way, you actually can make beams in the sims! It’s a little bit of a pain, but they have a beam object in cottage living that works great:)

Does anyone know if Simsie is still working on her Newcrest builds? I loved that idea with the all base game builds with a couple extra builds to swap out
I think she mentioned in a stream that she still is. The horse ranch stuff just stole her attention. She will continue eventually!

I usually add the wall-less shower where those pipes are in builds. The pipes has hot and cold, and when your sim upgrades or repairs the shower, the animation actually fits with the pipes.
This apartment was actually where my orange gen for not so berry lived and I loved it! So glad to see you building in it

Kinda out of topic but as I was recreating this build in my game and adding clutter I saw that ''The Right Track Bacpack'' have a Cow Plant swatch and now I CAN'T stop thinking about how cool would it be to The Sims to collab with Loungefly into making that backpack a reality asghjaaaajhsj
This is the apartment my current LP is in. It’s definitely one of the best ones.
Fun fact: The plates from the snowy Escape pack stack on top of the Horse Ranch plates!

Dw Kayla I’m on your side fr. I always play in apartments and they’re getting kinda old now, I want some variety and new things. Apartments are so fun though, and the small apartment is the best to create a studio apartment with or if you are playing a poor to rich/starter home.

As a point, when I lived in apartments nothing matched right on. I think that adds to the charm of an apartment like it's close or it's just wildly off like the color red.

13:06 the growing together build items are amazing
When the Sims 4 horse range came out there are ceiling beams in the debug. So if you painted your ceilings and then manually added wooden beans across the ceiling from the ranch pack in the debug it was like amazing and it would probably give you a look you were going for
For anyone who is new to the sims. That shelf trick works in basegame too. You just need the bathroom shelf.
