Dani, you have taken many thousands of us on an emotional journey. When a wild animal overcomes their basic instinct and gives you love and loyalty, its for a good reason. You gave Roo life when it could have been over...twice. Animals never forget, just as we could not forget this experience with you. The love of a wild animal is unconditional. Trust that you have done the right thing and try not to fret over him, because we out here, all over the world, are doing that for you.
yes so it is.
Actually it was 3 times...And yes I also really hope that this animal thrives and we can see a here and then update on how he is doing, because I love this little resistant MF sooo much! He is really lucky to have found the right person to give him this chance. Big kudos to Dani for that!

What a sweetheart. ❤️🐿️❤️
This lady could be telling me I’m dying and I’d feel peaceful and relaxed. Superb content, narration, editing and cinematography. Can only imagine what a glorious career she has ahead of her.
Oh YEAH ..... I'll raise my hand to vote on that motion.
I've even watched the whole sponsored part
The antidote to our Influencer culture.
yse, she is a great heart character
A beautiful insight thanks
I'm 59 year old man with tears in my eyes. Thank you for being such a kind human. your videos are incredible!
what's that with mentioning your age?
@@jmk868 Hes just farming likes
@@JJG4ming Jealous You Are . . . Ouch . . .
@@jmk868 At 59, you've experienced a lot, life's tribulations could have made you more resilient if you survived that far.

This video of Roo has brought this 63 year old soppy git to tears with joy and sadness. Please please keep us updated on Roo. Absolutely look forward to your videos ❤
Right there with you man.
and me
...and me too
I think it's Roux, as in red/redhead.
Me too. Such a moving story.
I'm not crying, you're crying.
No, no. It's conjuctivitus.
Oh yes, I AM crying and not ashamed about it 🥹
At least half of that is fact
damn this made me look odd at work lol
There's a squirrel in my eye.
This young girl has a special personality: independent, working hard, and very cool. 🕹
It breaks my heart you had to leave I'm sure he's still looking for you. Thank you for giving him back what humans took away from him - a chance at life.
Dear little Roo. He's captured all our hearts. You both have done a wonderful thing and are so lucky and privileged to be able to share his life.
Your gorgeous photography helps too!
Looking forward to seeing more of Roo's story.
As someone who grew up without a mother, rest assured. This little guy thinks of you everyday
I’d love that, Roo with a family of his own, how adorable would that be 😊
Very touching. Thank you for your comment.
How dare anyone say animals don't give love - after watching this beautiful creature.
Ty dear lady, for representing the good side of the human kind.😇❤
I'll be waiting patiently for Roo's next tale. Such beautiful photos of a little red squirrel who has stolen the hearts of many. I must admit my heart stopped a beat when i saw the road he must cross. It sank into my gut when you showed the trees that will be cut down forever, harming wildlife habitat. I wish humans would be better stewards of the planet earth.
My spirits were lifted though, when Roo took you on a 5 hour adventure to share his world. I believe you will always be his person.
As always, thank you for sharing your beautiful story. Til next time...❤❤
as a zoologist, its such a blessing to see people like you who know that wild animals belong in the wilds. there are so many selfish people out there who would have kept him as a pet. I have seen people "adopting" bob cats they found sick, using the poor animals condition for their own gain and to have an "exotic pet". People like you who promote Rehablitation are such a need and thank you for sharing this with the world. We need more people like you. only nature is species-appropriate. ❤🧡
There are exceptions. Both to the idea that a wild animal only belongs in the wild and to the idea that wildlife cannot form personal relationships with human beings and exercise their own free will to maintain that relationship or visit that person at any location and in any capacity in which they choose, and the idea that humans and wildlife cannot of their own free will and self-determination share their food and resources and seek to cooperate.
I say this as someone who has both helped rehabilitate and raise wild crows and other wildlife, and currently works privately within the field of ethology, a subfield of zoology, on interspecies communication, regularly interacting with, communicating with, walking with, playing with, and sharing occasional healthy species appropriate food with, safe to interact with wildlife, like crows, like ravens, like ducks, and Canada geese
People are animals too and nowhere is completely "wild" anymore. Most wild animals have to live in contact with humans in some way.
It's not always black and white.
better in a home than a cage, do you forget we are wild animals also and we live comfortably in our houses. you dont want to go back to the wild do you?
@@phillipbanes5484 yes Karen
@phillipbanes5484 Absolutely stupid statement. Clearly not an animal lover. My cats live their life warm, fed and veterinary care when required.
For 4yrs we have had a beautiful princess ( we don't name them ) squirrel visit us everyday and now thinks she owns our house. From sitting on top of my head while I am working at my desk to bringing her litters each year, she has enriched our lives beyond anything I would have ever imagined. I tiggle her tummy sometimes and gently rub her head, apart from that we don't pet and don't bet bit. Finding walnuts and peanuts hidden under our pillows in the bedroom gives you an idea of how at ease she is with us. p.s We live in a major city, so it makes it extra special a wild animal trusts us.
Super cool!
Wow! 🙏🏼
@hiramabiff2017
...may it has the same background like this squirrel...?!
I am very touched by this story. It is beautiful and very sad at the same time.
I absolutely love this series, it's pulled on all of my heartstrings. What wonderful humans you are for taking Roo in and getting him back into the wild. I feel overwhelming joy knowing there are beautiful kind people still left in this world. Thank you 🐿💚
Oh, I'm so glad he made it. I feel deeply moved. Dani, you are an angel. Let's hope Roo keeps on managing it to live in the wild.
You make me cry, i am ashamed to tell this, but i have 53 years old, and i cried for this little squirell, i love him so much 😍😍😍🤩😘😘😘
There is no shame in tears.....they are a tribute to your deep feelings. Namaste'
Everyone is rightly and deservedly praising Dani and crying with joy for Roo. But let’s give a big hug of acknowledgement and appreciation to Juan who keeps out of the limelight but plays a vital part in supporting Dani and helping to make all these beautiful videos possible. Heartfelt thank you. All 3 of you are stars, plus the amazing forest.
Roo is such a firecracker. No matter what happens in the future, he has freedom now, as nature meant it.
Roo will not truly be free until his corpse is absorbed back into the forest
Thank you for the wonderful update on Roo. It warms my heart immensely to see Roo doing so well in the wild. I hope that he continues to do well and enjoys a long life. You did very good by Roo. Thank you.
Not me in tears when he showed up at your door 😭 that's so wholesome.
A rewilding success story. I can't express how happy that makes me. Thank you Dani for your perseverance.
It is so good to see Roo thriving in his environment, but also that he still interacts with you. He looks so healthy and comfortable jumping tree to tree and making short work of getting those Pine cone seeds. Another great episode Dani. It has been such a good series.
Thank you to sharing Roo's life with us.
Im 50 years old and was in tears from the second minute. Absolutely amazing, thank you for what you do and for sharing with us. I wasn't expecting to cry today!
I wonder how many people cried watching this video. Such a beautiful update. What a gracious squirrel mom you have been, nurturing him with so much patience and then letting him go and then going back and checking on him, watching over him and letting him be wild and free. A lesson maybe for human moms too. To ultimately let the youngster be free and wild. You are such an amazing story teller as I am sure everyone tells you this.
Yes, I agree with every ones comments. It is realy heart sore and it did bring tears in my eyes. You are really an incredible loving mom for the wild. Most humans can learn a lot from you wild mom. Every one watching this video loves you. ❤️❤️❤️
This is human She became a tree dancer and a massive Human loving indeed . The amount of time Dani with Roo is worth more Avacardo's and nuts that anyone could give, Dani you did a fantastic job, we are all proud.
What an incredible story of Roo. Loved each video. Even my family have enjoyed it with me.
What a journey you have had with him.
Let's hope he does keep returning and may even bring his Family. ❤
You are a very pleasant and intelligent person with a soft voice, empathy and compassion. Beautiful creation. ♥👍🐿
This is the best thing I've seen on UA-cam in a long while ✨🙏🏽
Thank you for saving Roo and letting him experience his birthright of being wild & free. I'm sure Mother Svea smiled once one of her lost squirrels returned to her garden.
Hello from the UK ☺. Oh Danni what beautiful souls you both are for showing Roo 🐿 so much tenderness. And what a cliff hanger 🤔. I cried buckets 😢. I lost my beloved husband back in December, so I am having such an emotional journey right now. I love your vlogs, thank you. Sending love, light & bright blessings. Take care of each other xx

💜 compassion for your loss. May Dani’s beautiful nature videography bring you some healing joy.
so sorry for your loss 😢 best wishes

squirrel has good life. squirrel has better life then most of us.
I love that Roo came looking 4 u. Isn't it heartwarming? I recall coming home to a cat id adopted out, sitting on the hood of a neighboring car to mine. He was yelling at me, like where have u been. Funny how they know how to find us. I guess my cat didn't like his new owner and told me all about it.
🐿Thank you very much for that serie !!! We feel your love for Roo and your respect for the nature around you that's beautiful to see !
Thank you for Sharing this with us Dani and Thank you so much Roo.
so Happy that he is doing well.
*Tears of Joy in my Eyes*🥲
We can tell that you really miss having him around all of the time. Thank YOU, for sharing your journey. You are an amazing person.
I’ve been smiling, laughing. Cried tears of joy and sadness. Thank you so much for telling us the story of Roo and his rough start in life, but with a happy ending as a wild squirrel 🐿️ 🌲. Regards from your southern neighbor Denmark 🇩🇰
The most Delightful, Tear jerking, Inspirational and Heart Warming Story I have heard for Many a Year Dani....... You are a fantastic Wild Life Film Maker......And this is one of your best..... Bless you and Thank You for posting it.... :-))) xxxx
I have thoroughly enjoyed your adventure(s) with Roo. I doubt he will ever forget you. He's familiar with your voice, recognizes your scent, knows who you are when he sees you and most importantly trusts in you for your treatment of him has always been kind..Animals are much smarter than we give them credit for being.
Wholesome!
Thanx, Roo.
And thanx everyone having helped Roo!

He is a beautiful squirrel, and he has you to thank for being alive and free today ❤ GREAT JOB !!🎉
This has been the most fun watching him with both of you. So glad you found somewhere to help when he was ill. My Aunt feed a squirrel yrs ago, it disappeared and she expected it was hit on the rd. After time enough to have somewhat forgotten, the squirrel showed up on her doorstep, with her babies. Look forward to the next installment, of the adventures of Roo, and you 2.
Have loved this series
Lots of squirrels used to visit a place I used to work. My fondest memory was when one of them buried a cookie it found in a pile of snow!! Bless. I’m no longer living in a country where there’s squirrels and watching this series has made me feel very nostalgic. This series has been such an escape and joy to watch. So heartfelt. Thank you for making it Dani. Subscribed. Your channel is so inspiring!
Not only is this adorable, this shows the bright side of humanity and nature. Good in this world where regretfully we don't see that daily anymore. Just awesome how simple and beautiful life can be! Thank you for this wholesome content and keep up this positive channel!
Thank you for sharing Roo's life, and yours, with us, Dani and Juan. Any time my emotions get blocked up I visit your little corner of beautiful Sweden. I'm excited to see what you bring us from Antarctica! Be well and travel safe. I will send Roo my best daily.
Such a beautiful squirrel, makes me cry to think he is in such danger from roads and habitat destruction. You told the story of his life so well, wonderful photography, I hope it can help towards changing the way the trees are grown. Permaculture is the future.
Roo is such a wonderful being! This video series make me so happy! Thank you both so very much for being so compassionate and loving!
A squirrel tour guide. So cute and he was a good host at his new home.
What a amazing journey of compassion love and faith. Thank you for inviting us all to witness Roo"s journey.
Dani, you're a wonderful human. Thank you for taking care of Roo and sharing this journey with us. For what it's worth, I believe your videographic and storytelling skills are on par if not better than most I've seen in my 55 years. You put everything into your craft and it shows. I'm looking forward to your next masterpiece.
What a beautiful relationship!
Aww geez Dani.. way to make us cry! Your magical experiences with this wee fluff ball, Roo-Roo, has also been our magical experience. Thank you so much. You are both such special souls. ❤❤❤
Dani you are are amazing at story telling. You help me to escape at the end of a busy day, i feel so relaxed watching your vlogs. I have loved watching the Roo series, its amazing to see him thriving. I loved it when he turned up on your door ❤
I'm a mud 60s guy from an industrial northern town
My father was different than guys in our area and our time. He loved nature, loved all animals, loved birds etc. Unfortunately he was from a time before the internet.
Dani he would love you and Ur channel, you are an amazing lady. Your really talented as a photographer but maybe not as a narrator.
Thank you for this story, it's amazing, warm, heartfelt and so wonderful.
Ru is your number 1 love and I know Ur love is so deep, you will meet again.
Thanks Dani, your what English people used to be. Good luck for you, your family and your true love ru
thanks for your HUGE HEART
You were a wonderful squirrel mother
Just over here absolutely bawling my eyes out! What a beautiful thing you’ve done - thank you for sharing this incredible journey with us. Sweet little Roo - I do hope he stays safe and lives a long, happy life, with lots of squirrel friends. 🧡
Dani, thanks so much for sharing this beautiful story. It has really touched my soul. I too, have 3 squirrels in my rural yard of 4 acres that I have grown very attached to. They have names also Pearlie and her now grown babies Whirlie and Twirlie. We have many pine trees lining our property and walnut trees, its an almost daily pleasure to watch them climbing, being acrobatic and caching nuts ect. These furry little loves really do capture our hearts. I cannot imagine how attached you must have gotten raising Roo. I anxiously await the next episode.
This has been the most remarkable story...you've kept me hanging on for more over the months. Thanks so much for caring about a baby squirrel and sharing it with us. Praying for the future of Roo and you and yours. Amazing, just amazing.
Thank you Dani. You are a kind gentle and caring soul
Moves me to my soul. Top squirrel. Top lady too.
Hey there Dani! I just had to drop a comment to express how much I enjoyed this episode and, honestly, your entire wildlife photography and rescue series. That shot of Ruben gracefully leaping from canopy to canopy was nothing short of breathtaking! 🐿✨ And can we talk about the cinematic touch you added with your SAAB in the background? That was a pleasant surprise and added such a unique element to the scene.
Your wildlife rescue efforts are truly commendable, and it's heartwarming to see the dedication and care you put into making a difference in the lives of these adorable red squirrels. It's not just about photography; it's about conservation and the incredible bond you've developed with the wildlife.
The storytelling in your episodes is so engaging, and the editing is on point. Every moment is crafted with precision, making it impossible for viewers like me to look away. The sound effects, too, contribute to the immersive experience. It's like being right there in the midst of the action.
Honestly, you've set the bar high for wildlife content creators. Your passion shines through, and it's evident that you truly care about the subject matter. Your work is top-notch, and I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the dedication you bring to each episode. Keep hanging that moon, my friend! 🌕 Looking forward to more incredible content from you.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. It is so respectfully done in appreciation of the wild squirrel, Roo. Really like your style. Well done.
This made me cry: tears of joy!
Such a wonderful video, well done! Animals never forget their humans. I hope & pray Roo is well & safe. Stay safe on your penguin adventure. Thank you so much for sharing Roo & yourselves. Many blessings
Emotions are happening right now that I didn’t expect. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for Roo and for sharing this wonderful story with so many. Now, there’s a happiness… and a sadness within me. Somehow, I want more…
Yes. I think she truly embodies that lost connection with Nature we desperately need.
This is not just about stunning photography and (truly) fantastic storytelling, breathtaking scenaries and gorgeous wildlife, this is about living a life worth living, speaking a language we once all know how to speak... she has the courage, the grace, the skills and the strength and she's showing the way..... Difficult to find something more genuinely inspiring.
God bless her.
Thank you for the reminder that humans have the capacity for good. It's tough to believe some days.
how cute. You did so well and now the baby is strong. greets Stefan
Everything about this channel is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. What a remarkable woman. And a precious little red squirrel. 🙏🐿️🧡

We should respect ALL living creatures…they were all put on this earth for a purpose
I almost cried when he came at the front door 🫶
Dani I have been watching the best UA-cam story I have ever seen. You journey with Roo. I cried with joy during most of the video. Your so lucky to make this kind of connection with a wild animal, you are incredibly lucky, Setting him free was both the right thing to do and probably the hardest thing to do. I am a HUGE fan of your work and your heart, I hope some day I can meet you. I am 61 and had a strok 2 years ago, and I hope to follow your footsteps and enjoy nature and share it. Love all you do Dani
What a beautiful journey this has been with Roo, thank you for sharing his story ❤
I love this series so much. I became emotionally attached to that little guy. Godspeed.
I've always wondered why people appear to believe wild animals raised in captivity want nothing more than return to the wild -- despite the OBVIOUS trouble this spells. If we were able to interview those poor critters, I wouldn't be surprised if 9/10 of them later reported they felt royally screwed once they realized they had been left high & dry in the wilderness by their previous owners... 🤔😅
Thanks for looking after Roo and giving him a great start in the wild, please keep us updated if you can ,thanks for an absolutely beautiful video ❤❤
And the fact you came back to find him there is no fluke, the two of you share a connection on the level of "The Creator" of this beautiful world. Nature is the real world, and where I feel I truly belong. Flora and fauna dont lie about what they are or what they do. They dont smile in your face, only to stab you in your back!!
I LOVE your videos. Roo is a lucky Squirrel to have such a great friend. The world needs more kind people in the world. I am from the UK and Red Squirrels have been pushed out by the grey. So to see a Red squirrel fills my heart with joy. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us.
You are a true 💎 full of love ❤️ and it's amazing how you both put in so much care love joy 💖 🥰 into little Roo .... its a blessing 🙌 🙏 ✨️ many thanx 😊
Dani that was a masterpiece of film making and story telling. love the whole series, teared me up man. been following ya since day one on the tube here. keep up the inspiring work
Well…I’m in tears. Thanks for sharing this emotional video…and thanks for being you.
From returning to Sweden to care for Roo, through all your efforts and love, you raised a squirrel who not only successfully transitioned to the wild but who also chose to keep his connection with you. That Roo wanted to give you a full tour of his new home speaks so strongly of his attachment to you--and that he appeared on your doorstep on your last day, well, it can't get much better than that. Thank you so much for saving Roo and facilitating him having his best wild life. And thank you for sharing this adventure with us. It is wonderful to see him thriving!
So lovely Dani. Thank you so much for helping little Roo. You went above and beyond to assist him. He will always love you.
God's creation interacting with each other on this level is no fluke. It's a gift.
