I just want to say thank you from Australia!!! I used to be a drug addict/alcoholic and have lived in the absolute depths of ‘hell’. I’ve been in sobriety for four years and am taught through AA to find love in wholesome places. I don’t know if it sounds strange but I adore your channel - thanks for sharing with us all because you are humble, kind and wonderfully down to earth which fills my heart with hope. Thank you❤
Guys. Give this UA-camr more likes. She does a Great job. And her videos are Fantastic. She deserves all the credit she can get for all the work she puts in it. 🤗
her videos have changed more of her life, house in Sweden and all that goes with it, boyfriend. So of the wildlife got shorter. if you like this videos about her fine, not for me, only reason I'm this as came up on feed
Animals are as keen to be friendly with humans as much as we are with them. It all starts with curiosity. Your videos and photographs bring this fact to life, and are making people very happy and relieving their stress. Good luck for your future projects.
There are a two main reasons I love watching Dani's videos. First and foremost the content is unbelievably good. The scenery and wildlife are shown in glorious detail that both makes my heart skip a beat and at the same time slows it down as I just relax and chill out. Secondly and perhaps slightly unusual is her voice. I suffer from bouts of clinical depression and find that the sound of Dani's voice can help break me out of the cycle. It doesn't seem to mater what she is saying it is the tone, pace and just rexing atmosphere her voice generates. I don't think I could ever say a big enough thank you to her for the difference she makes in my life.
I hope you're doing well Dave? I feel a similar way; I was in happy tears last night re-watching all her videos. It is so peaceful; nature is so healing & so are the people who protect and enjoy it.
“Knowing the photographer” of a successful page means the photographer has a great personality and knows how to present her vids in an inspiring way. Your ability to present nature using great equipment and an eye for appealing photography and videography keeps me coming back. Squirrels are not my favorite animal but your presentations of them and other animals can be engrossing. Keep doing great work and I can’t wait for more.
You seem to have done something that many of us - for all sorts of reasons - fail to avchieve often in our lives. You seem to treasure the simple things in life and take so much joy from experiences in nature. Well done. Marvellous watching, listening and learning from you....
Excellent video ! As a swedish citizen I sadly agree about the lack of empathy for wild animals and the bad preservetion of the nature. To the outside world we give another view ! You have noticed all the clearcuted areas with treeplantations replacing the primeval forests, leaving Sweden with only 0,3% Primeval forest. We are tought in school how good it is with treeplantations and our nature preservation is adapted to the forest industries. actually many scientists work for the forestry and making up the rules...
I'd say Sweden is no different than the rest of Europe, it's the UK that seems to have a more enlightened position, thanks to a higher percentage of citizens who seem more progressive. The UK also has the highest percentage of vegan in Europe.
@philippeorlando7482 the UK has next to no ancient woodland left. The rivers are being polluted by the water companies and the countryside is mainly farms. I agree that alot of the population is progressive but the government only care about profits.
@@lukedavidson2196 You're probably right. Still, as a Franco-American living currently in the US, I always find Brits more interesting than the average French. Some people are great everywhere, but all European governments seems to have problems. France is a mess, the US could be in a horrible situation in 6 weeks.
Hello I feel peace and joy when I see you two. I have nothing but gratitude for letting me spend a very calm and gentle time. I can't wait to come to Japan. I can confidently say that Japan will safely support your group. Thank you for always letting me have a peaceful time With love and gratitude from an old man in a corner of Japan
I lived in Sweden for 5 years and loved it. i love your images of Swedish forest and wild life.. I am seriously concerned about you not wearing a life jacket in the canoe. WE lived in Gällö, near Östersund for several weeks one summer. It was beautiful weather but the water in the lakes was very cold. You know about physiology, how quickly the body shuts down in very cold water Please take care.
These videos are so relaxing and interesting. I'm not a photographer, but I enjoy wildlife-scenery. I live in the middle of Sweden at a small municipality with basically the exact same environment. Even though I live in it, it still amazes me when a talented photographer depicts our nature in this way. Amazing work.
I don't know why recently I've become obsessed with Sweden. I might have to give you a new subscriber (myself) to ensure I never forget about the beauties of Sweden because your videos portray it so well.
I love watching your content before getting to sleep, it's all so peaceful and your voice is really soothing. Amazing work, Dani! Would love to know more about how it all started for you and how you got into photography, the challenges you've encountered along the way. Can't wait for your trip to Antarctica and Iceland! 😊
@FredCarpenter-pm8bf I had a motorcycle crash yesterday so I guess I am a zombie. I just slid out at 30 kmh taking a sharp curve and I didn’t get hurt at all
Your videos and how you present them are amazing. You are an amazing wildlife presenter and we love the way that you can get close to many of the animals which you film. Please please keep on filming because you bring the natural world in our homes in a special way that only you can do. ❤
Fabulous video and insight into your personal world. You truly understand even though it may be strange at times the importance of having a personal connection with your viewers and showing the person behind the lens as much as the wildlife. I also love how you touched on the hours that go into the "boring stuff" as well, as a photographer myself oftentimes people don't realize for 3 hours of shooting so many more hours can go into editing, culling and other business related activity. Personally I'd love to see a video covering some behind the scenes editing techniques you use for both video and stills. The mood your videos create it wonderful and we look forward to every new release. Thanks for being you!
Thank you for taking the time to answer these many questions. I saw a comment here that you show too few animals and report too much about yourself. I think this mix is so important for your channel. You can't go too far wrong when I see how fast your channel is growing. I find it very interesting to learn something about you and your work behind the scenes. I believe that many viewers are not aware or were not aware of how much work is necessary to make beautiful pictures or videos. I tell you: keep going. This is really good. Greetings from Germany
Thanks Dani, I love your videos and have seen your channel grow from strength to strength, in the last couple of years. I always find humour, hope, and inspiration, in your films. Thanks for all your marvellous work.
So well done on doing what you are doing. I can only see you and hubby going from strength to strength in your creations. Thank you for being there and sharing your part life with us. 😊😊
It is good seeing the progress. Too easy to stay still and not risk. I am sure you inspire lots of people, especially young people to just go and try things and see what happens. I hope the journey continues and you both prosper enough along the way.
I think I am seeing a legend in the making! Absolutely delighted to see this video of you quite by chance. Great video and a wonderful story which will continue for long years and with such devotion, commitment and thoughtfulness you must dream bigger. Congratulations and I wish you the best of luck with everything you do. Greetings from Adelaide, Australia!
I have recently found your channel Dani, i have to admit that your videos are giving me inner peace. Happy to see people like you exist in our world. Much appreciated! 🐿️❤️
Thank you Dani for this amazing new video, it's so personal and you're so authentic, it's such a pleasure to watch you, thank you very much for that and for your great work, wish you all the best and have a good time 🐿❤️❤️
I remeember the little squirrels. I loved that video. Id lost my wife and it was warming to watch that. You're a beautiful lady inside and out. I wish you the best on your life.
Not to be annoying, just like to add that it's not a bunny/ rabbit but a mountain hare, a completely different species. It is bigger than a rabbit, has longer ears and hind legs, and its fur changes color from brown/grey to white in the winter, while rabbits keep the same color year round. Hares are also not kept as pets. It would be an excellent moment to answer your daughters excitement with some education on wild life.
Another great video, Dani. It's always a great pleasure to feel that you are taking us along with you on these projects. Thank you for such wonderful photography.
Oh yes I am glad you introduced yourself so we could really get the whole picture. Because if not I would always be wondering "who is this brilliant woman that does the most beautiful photography ever". Keep following your passion. And you are right the Red Squirrels are worth fighting for. I have never ever seen such a precious creature from God! And you introduced me to the most beautiful creature and so cute and sweet ever. Thank you so so much❣️❣️
Hi. Love your videos - I have a request, Would you consider lowering the volume of the background music while you’re talking? I’m not sure about others but the competing music for me, makes it extremely hard to make out what you’re saying. I really am interested in your content but the volume is just a little too loud for me, especially with how soft your voice is. Love the content and hope you’ll consider! Others with hearing disabilties, brain injury or sensory overload might also appreciate it too! Thanks for reading
You really capture the mood with your wildlife photography. It's spectacular. Thank you for sharing your art form with the world. You have amazing talent.
As for mosquitoes, it really can be helpful to wash all parts of exposed skin (mostly face and hands) in a cold stream or even with some collected dewdrops. It cools down your skin and mosquitoes will lose interest for at least 5 to 10 minutes. I was taught so by a Norwegian friend who is a forester in Hedmark, Norway. And guess what? It helped. Time and again!
I remember seeing one of your first videos about the baby squirrels. Now 2 or 3 years later look at you. Not only do you create beautiful videos and photos you also got an amazing voice and clear way of speaking that is tremendously soothing / calming.
If someone were to visit Sweden and would like to see the sights you have in your videos (the countryside I guess?), where would we go? I'm a fan of the City but I absolutely love the quiet side. As I grow older, the more and more I want to pack up and live on a homestead far away from everyone.
You won't get any proper answers with so little input. Nature like Danis home area, can be found much further to the south if going to the correct area. There's really no ideal route, as anything you'll try shouldn't dissapoint in any way. Avoid going in winter, as it is too dark to experience it with lack of sunlight, especially if you would visit further north. Mid June is nice usually, as it doesn't tend to rain too much. But it can be cold. There are days that reach 30 and I've even experienced light snowfall when celebrating Midsommar which is around 20th June.
You can search google for "land cover in the nordics map" which takes you to a site representing it well on where we have forest (or: where we don't). And then "sweden population density map" which gets you a map from yellow to red on where people live. I think you get a feel for how the country is then.
If you like nature and still don't want to be too far from cities, then the region called Småland is quite a good choice. There are still quite a few deep and old forests left, kept as nature reserves. One such forest is located just outside the small town of Mullsjö, there you can find undisturbed forest as well as lots of animals. Certain parts had quite a big chance of encountering not just deer but also elk. Scania isn't that great of a choice due to the heavy prevalence of agriculture (a large part of agriculture is done there). Pretty much most of the country is gonna have lots of nature, Sweden is 70ish percent forest. You don't even need to go that far up north to see allot of animals in nature, you do however sort of need to do that if you want to see wolves (the few that we still have). Bears are sort of the same, they tend to stay more in the mid/north parts of the country. Go far enough north and you will encounter reindeer. My best tip is to look at a map and then choose a region and search region + naturreserv, there's quite allot of nature reserves you can visit and see animals at.
Hello Dani. I have enjoyed your videos very much. They are warm and peaceful. Your production value on your videos are spot on. Your voice is also very soothing and you could easily double as an Audible reader for books :) Thanks for sharing your interests to the world.
Hi Dani! I'm not sure how sweeden operates. But be aware that if you buy a forrest of a certain size, you might be obliged by law to run it. You can't just leave it. But you're pretty smart, from what I've seen so you probably looked into these kinds of issues already. Best of luck!
Good luck, Dani We, all your subscribers, wish you with all our hearts great success, the full disclosure of your enormous creative potential. There is no doubt you will delight us all with new amazing works and surprise everyone even more. Good luck to you and God bless
Beautiful Video ❤️ I think the pandemic and economic crisis have taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean financial security. I really appreciate the transparency and giving people a fighting chance during these troubling times.
I agree with you 100%. Did you know that the unemployment rate increased significantly between 2020-2021. people found themselves unemployed. we should not depend solely on wages and salaries.
I totally agree with you. I see a lot of young and old making mistakes that I don't think they should. I believe everyone should have an investment plan that improves their financial stability. The investment can be your retirement plan or your future plan, whatever you want, but the most important thing is that you have an investment plan that pays off.
On the "dislikes" about Sweden: 1. If an injured animal is very common, as in there are almost too many of them, then they will be shot by a licensed hunter as a mercy-kill. We have so many deer in Sweden that they are many times considered almost like pests. Less common and rare/threatened animals are on the other hand considered for rehabilitation if the injury permits it. Like the Swedish "sea eagle" (Havsörn). 2. Deforestation? You make it sound like the rain forest :) Sweden exports a lot of wood, and the country has A LOT of forests. The wood often times comes from privately-owned land where the trees are planted for the express purpose of being cut down after a certain amount of time. After that is done, new trees will be planted and the cycle repeats. However, sometimes cities grow and then it sadly often means that some forest areas are cut down.
Oh what wonderful news about getting the squirrel forest. You are an amazing woman and photographer. I am totally amazed and enlighten by your videos. They are truly "The Best" I have ever ever seen!! Thank you for all your work and sharing the beautiful wildlife with us. Amazing❣️❣️
It's so lovely to know more about you and your life. You're a wonderful person. Thank you for stunningly professional approach to making all of your videos, I enjoy every moment truly ✨🌸
Hi Dani, Regarding large bodies of water: Please, wear some kind of PFD (Personal Flotation Device). It can be a swim west, but if the water is cold you should wear a lifejacket. A lifejacket because the cold would make you gasp, get a lot of water un your lungs, and is going to drown.
Watching your video, I noticed the new logo using a squirrel for the "D" and I was immediately drawn to it. When you mentioned that it was new I had to smile. It caught my attention and was very creative. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Keep up the work that you do. People such as you are too few and far between. The world needs more "Dani Conners".
If you've got Japan in mind, here in Nagoya, it's not overly citified, in the surrounding areas (here in Meitou-ku, it's really nice), and it's not much farther towards more forested areas. I'm probably the only mix of Indigenous Canadian and Scandinavian person here, and such blood **CRAVES** nature LOL The bamboo/evergreen forest across the street is a haven for me 🙂
Miss Dani - I just found your channel today. UA-cam somehow presented it to me (it hadn’t shown me much of value lately). I think you are amazing and your channel is amazing.
Hi Dani! You mentioned you'll start doing prints. When you have everything sorted, can you do a video on the process you chose, selling online, what print shop, if you're doing the prints yourself etc. ? It would be interesting to know :) Keep up the good work. I'm really excited about you actually buying the land and I'm looking forward to following the rewilding project you mentioned!
I am so excited for you and for me. I went into law. I was good at it, but it made me sad. I started off with photography and then moved on to painting. Than back to photography, because I love it. Now I am learning editing. My final is tomorrow. Gotta run.
[I'm from Sweden] I've also noticed the difference in handling of wildlife by watching @wildlifeaid channel for several years. For herbivores I guess one difference is that we have a large population of them that is hunted - an mildly injured roe deer that gets euthanized off hunting season is still some meat. In the UK it seems the rescuing is in the city/suburbs (or maybe I'm skewed by the area @wildlifeaid is in). I also seems to be under a strained budget they operate - in Sweden with less people I don't think a nationwide covering wildlife aid could work. I've also have a theory that humans tend to the wildlife when it's rare but get more and more aggressive the more it is a problem. The UK seems to be on one end. Sweden we do hunt more (for meat and predator control) but it's regulated and orderly done - the full human capability is not unleashed. On the far end of this is the pest control - like in the US with feral hogs. Helicopters, vehicles, automatic rifles, night vision/thermal vision etc. The wild boar population spread in Sweden needs to be stopped otherwise it will shift more and more to the US style. Wild boars aren't on the main menu for our predators either (analyzing droppings I think came to that conclusion). Basically the wolves will eat all other wildlife and livestock before really going after the wild boars, so more of them is not a solution as someone else in the comments suggested.
I get that hunting is something you can have issues with coming from the UK as I guess there it’s more of a sport or recreational activity. It can be here too, but many hunts for the meat and to be honest that’s more “humane” then how cows and pigs are kept for slaughter. And as we don’t have enough big predators to keep the deer’s, boars and moose’s population in check it would lead to big problems if we didn’t cull them by hunting. Farmers crops would be eaten, same with trees plantations (regrowth after lumbering projects). Wild life car accidents would get worse etc. Sweden has so much forests and is sparsely populated, especially in the North so hunting is essential for keeping a balance. The hunting quota is strictly regulated to keep the wild life population on healthy levels too. Same with the lumbering industry, as it’s one of the things we export and without it there would be way less jobs available in the north part of Sweden. Much has change with machines that make less damage to the ground, lumbering is regulated and research has been ongoing to save fauna and animals. I don’t know if the balance is correct, some say we have to much young forest at to few old, untouched forests and that might be right. But it all comes back to that the forest is a resource we need to take care of and protect and in the same time it’s vital as a income for people and Sweden. With the climate changing, our forests are vital for our survival and the younger the forest is the more vulnerable it is. Take care and I hope your squirrel friends gets a forest sanctuary as they are amazing animals!
Hunting in Sweden is a far more complex topic… I understand herbivores need to be controlled. Why? Because they damage young tree plantations and the population would quickly (in a few years) grow to trophic imbalance. Loss of wildflowers, tree saplings struggle to establish, etc. But nature should work in an equilibrium but historically in Northern Sweden, there should be wolves. But they’ve been hunted to extinction because they predate on reindeer which are livestock. The swedes also hunt the other predators- bears and lynxes. So now we “have to” hunt moose. But really it’s a short term solution to a historic problem. And this is a common problem in most countries, the UK including. What I really detest, is hunting whatever you can, our local beaver family was recently shot. My neighbour used to hunt squirrels before I arrived. Another neighbour shot a fox cub “because it was there”. You cannot eat a fox cub. Completely pointless.
@@emilefarmer8513 Do you live in Sweden? I remember driving to work at night, I worked night shift at a place 50 km outside of town, driving thru a mix of agricultures land and woodland and thru the extra headlights of my car I could count to 12 to 14 pair of eyes on each side of the road. It was deer that was gracing on farmland, and this was only one spot. There where several more. The deer population had exploded after the fox population had been severely decreased due to a mange epidemic. Traffic accidents from collisions with deer sky rocketed, as the smaller roads can’t be protected by fences and if you driven on these smaller roads you know it nearly impossible to protect against these kind of accidents. The deer is hard to spot as they blend in to the environment and they move very fast. The more animals you have the more they have to move around to get food, thus increasing the risk of accidents as the often travel in dusk or dawn. Predators like wolves and bears seems fun to have as long you don’t have to encounter them while walking your dog or have farm animals that you don’t want to be slaughtered. Wolfs and bears doesn’t belong in areas near populated areas and only people in big cities where non of these animals roam thinks that we need more of these predators. So do you want a living countryside where people can live and work or do you want a countryside with only summer houses with electric fence to fend of the boars? The Hunters exam isn’t just a couple of days, you have to do a written exam and then practical exams for shotgun and then for bullet that you have to pass. In the past most male hunters already had experience handling and shooting as we very trained in the military as conscripts. But I agree, to many forget the that “a bullet never fired is easier to regret”! I used to hunt several years ago, but found out I doesn’t like killing animals I don’t desperately needed to eat, so I quite. I did meet people that was a bit to trigger happy for my taste, I more then often had to let the animal go as I didn’t have a clear kill shot. But most of the hunters I’ve meet has a genuine interest of preserving the forests and the wild life. We have hunted for hundred of thousands of years, it’s in our genes, depicting it as something unnatural or evil is dumb, but modern hunting needs to regulate and I guess we need to constantly work on that.
@@DaniConnorWild I think we have a gap between the cultural identity and the modern hunting reality in Sweden nowadays. Landowners are often too old or urbanised to actually carry out a successful control only by hunting their lands. The problem is even worse in southern Sweden where we have other deer species with only arbitrary control of the populations. In northern Sweden where moose and semi domesticated reindeer dominate, there are regulations and qoutas that acually keeps the deer populations down better. In southern Sweden where the lands are mostly owned by small private owners it is totally arbitrary how much of the roe, fallow and red deer (and wild boar) that is actually hunted every year. Here, you can have every other property not being hunted and controlled at all. The rest are often being hunted more like a sports activity, often only in theory, and not so much to actually control the populations. If people cannot accept larger predator populations we need to have a more regulated hunting policy forcing landowners to cull their wildlife better. The forest ecosystems are definately not in balance now.
@@DaniConnorWildSorry to hear that 😢We are really divided in Sweden in regards to hunting and nature. I hope for more balance in the future with more big predators and better care of our forests.
@@Hiznogood do you even read what she is writing? Humans need to stop thinking we stand above EVERYTHING on this planet. We can't control and regulate everything because of selfish needs. This makes me so sad. Well if the problem is rising number of car accidents then solve it by building passages over/under the roads rather than fckn shooting everything off!! We shoot animals because they eat/"destroy" the trees? Do you hear how that sounds? Animals means NOTHING to most men. Then we should kill all animals on the planet, that would solve all our problems 👌👌👏👏 right?
Just discovered Dani. Weird thing as well since I have befriended grey squirrels, two black headed crows who greet me when I enter my local park. Lots of the crow family in my local park. Been patient for over a year before a squirrel ate from my hand. Just bought a calender. Hope the money helps you do more work. It great to see someone finding the better side of this world. Wish you both happiness
Great video! Besides monetization, I would love to hear details about the approach you took in relation to paying taxes, especially if you do it in Sweden. I am thinking of opening a "hobby business" in Sweden I would love to hear about other people's experiences. Thank you!
This was what I needed this morning. Peaceful and calming UA-cam vid. It was so nice to watch ❤

De-forestation still looks bad, and there are other ways to do it that leaves more trees left. But it is all about money. And it is important to understand that the forest was the engine of Swedish industry, much like coal was in the UK (and that left big scars in the landscape and lots of pollution). And even if you see a lot of de-forestation, there is a lot more forest in Sweden now, then like 50 years back... And most of the forests in Sweden are planted to be "harvested", but it takes some 70-100 years at most places.
Actually Sweden had never so little forests, (Watch More Of Everything Documentary) it's a lie that forests are increasing, plantations are increasing .

@@Skogen594 A number account… The question is then, is it due to 5G or is Deepstate steeling the forest? Ps. Your logs trace back to Leningrad…
@@Skogen594 A sad reality is that the huge part of forests in Sweden are planted, there aren't that many wild forests left outside of nature reserves and even those are not fully protected.
@@SvengelskaBlondie . Even the forest industry claims that most of Sweden is plantation so they can cut it, however the truth is that less than 10 percent of Sweden is plantation and more than 90% is natural mixed forests, only lacking very old trees.

I'm actually moving to Sweden this week (Umeå). I hate bugs, so I'm a little worried by your video. I was told (unsolicited) that they're only bad a couple weeks out of the year. We'll see.
Yes, in Sweden we for some idiotic reason shot injured animals, rather than trying to save them. My wife and I live right next to northern Europe's largest cemetery, which is surrounded by a lot of forest. During the summer... maybe three years ago, a deer had managed to get stuck between two bars in a large gate going into the cemetary. The whole neighborhood get involved in trying to save the deer. We got word that someone was going to send a hunter to "take care of it", and everyone in the neighborhood was like "HELL NO!". The deer was so tired, and had basically given up getting loose, and it was so scared. We managed to sneak up from the back and insert a mini car jack between the bars and carefully pryed them apart. At first the deer didn't understand what was happening, and like I said, it was so tired from trying to get loose from the bars. Someone was brave enough to tickle one of its back paws (does deer have paws?), and off it ran! Everyone was so happy and touched by how it sprinted away. It was free again! We still see a lot of deers roaming around all year long, and I believe one of them is the one we saved that summer.
Well, I think we need some context here for non sweeds... 😊 First I love to be in the forest too. 🎄 But "Deforestation" sounds like a "permanent down cutting of forest", like Amazonas. To be clear, that's not the case in Sweden and Sweden are one big forest with some exceptions. 😅 Most forest in Sweden are "farmed" and planted. There is cutting downs when the forest plantation are ready and it's strictly regulated. Beside that there is an forever ongoing argument about best practice and different interest, owners right and ecology. I think the conflicts are escalated too due to the right of roaming. I have friends of both sides. /Sweed
The footage of the leveret moved me to tears. I always think it is such a privilege to see a hare. We have hares in the field opposite to where we live, always brings me such joy 🥹🫶🏻

Just a quick word about hunting. I eat meat and i rather eat meat i know come from an animal that has had a good life like a wild moose than a cow from some huge farm where they spend their whole life in a confined space.
I've recently discovered your amazing channel it's blown me away how you interact with the nature around you ..Your life is very joyful especially being friends with the red squirrels ..Keep up the fantastic work your doing & thank you so much for sharing it ..☺️🙏
Ha! Your Sweden dislikes are similar to my Canada dislikes - hunting, logging, and mosquitoes! I couldn’t do what you do though, I’m a behind-the-camera-only kinda girl, and I share only what’s in front of the lens. Would love to know who you use to print your calendars if you care to share. I want to transition from using PoD sites to my own website, but not sure who to use for printing/distributing. Really enjoy your videos and am a fellow squirrel fan. Wishing you all the best with saving the squirrel forest.
Whenever I come back to watching one of your videos after not seeming them for some time, I cry. I think it's about realising what my life could, can, be. If I just let it. Cheers from Björklinge, Sweden.
Sweden is losing about 1-2 percent of forests to clearcutting, mostly mixed natural forests, every year. Watch More of Everything - film about Swedish forestry. There are many lies out there, and people still doing it.
Thankx, Dani. Discovered your U-Tube channel not long ago. You've got a heart as big as the outdoors you love. I subscribed so, keep those posts coming, cheers!!
Your channel just happened as I scrolled through UA-cam and thought what the heck I'll watch it, it didn't disappoint. I think your channel came across because I have been looking to buy a camera, maybe ironic? I am originally from Vegas, a retired civil engineer and engineering teacher, but moved to the Oregon coast. Couple of reasons for my camera affection, one is that there is a lot of nature/scenery here and two I am also a retired bicycle racer but continue to ride and want to ride across country and take photos along the way. I am eager to learn from others about photography and I believe I learn a thing or two from you. I look forward to seeing more of your content.
About your the forest with the squirrels - I really like your approach. The owner gets to decide. Forestry in Sweden have big conflicts between owners and those who want to stop them from cutting any trees that. What they never do is to buy the forest themselves.
Hi Dani, I’m happy to get a chance to see and hear this video which I’m glad. You and your husband made a wonderful career in what you love and enjoy. I would very much like to purchase some of your prints and the calendar’s once they make public. Your devotion to nature is admirable, so continue to film those videos. If you ever go live stream that would be even better. Perhaps, I would join you in one of your group outings. Bless you both🙏 and thank you for sharing
wow, iceland! love to go there, lots of hot springs and very cool places along the coast.. its all about filters in iceland, specially your borealis filters
The quality of your videography and audio is second to none.
Thanks! For your loving our natural world… You give me hope for a future with harmony and peace between man and nature❤❤❤🎉
Thank you❤
❤
Your comment is inspiring
Well done. Keep it up.
Well done Nicolas, stay strong 👍
Amazing Nicolas. Take one day at a time!
Dani, Please do not stop photographing your lovely buddies. They are gorgeous and you have a unique style doing it. All the best 😊
Your work is second to none dear Dani,. Thank you so much!
Watching Dani's UA-cam channel is an automatic stress reliever. Thank you for the combination of nature's beauty and Dani's mellow personality.
Exactly. It's more spiritually beneficial than the Alan Watts or Eckhart Tolle videos.
Glad with my UA-cam Sponsor Blocker :)
Thanks
👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Absolutly great content 👍🏻✊🏻
Thanks for sharing that insightful viewpoint 🤷🏻♂️
Indeed!
Animals are as keen to be friendly with humans as much as we are with them. It all starts with curiosity. Your videos and photographs bring this fact to life, and are making people very happy and relieving their stress. Good luck for your future projects.
I made friends with a wild bunny during the drought last year by helping her with food and water.
That was so beautiful. Your accent and pronunciation is so pleasurable. Thank you!
I would also add that the music tracks add to the serenity as well.
I can understand that, Dani has voice that is both attractive and relaxing.
Yeah, I can see that. I find that she just generally exudes a very calming aura.
Thank you for always letting me have a peaceful time

I lived in Sweden for 5 years and loved it. i love your images of Swedish forest and wild life..
I am seriously concerned about you not wearing a life jacket in the canoe. WE lived in Gällö, near Östersund for several weeks one summer. It was beautiful weather but the water in the lakes was very cold.
You know about physiology, how quickly the body shuts down in very cold water Please take care.
Yes, they regularly run (at least, used to run) ad campaigns to try and remind people to use "flytvästar" or life jackets on boats.
I love the mood and pace in your videos and it really feels like a reflection of you. I always feel more relaxed after I watch them thank you :).
I can't believe how close you can get to these animals, you are truly mother nature in disguise ❤️ 😊
Dani, your video editing is amazing. Video makes me calm, relaxed and peaceful. Thank you.
Keep up the Great work……Like you, I really Love the Red Squirrels, but who couldn’t Love them….. Thank you for your channel….i enjoy watching !
I don't know why recently I've become obsessed with Sweden. I might have to give you a new subscriber (myself) to ensure I never forget about the beauties of Sweden because your videos portray it so well.
It's so beautiful there in Sweden.
Thank you for your work Dani ! 🌅
I love watching your content before getting to sleep, it's all so peaceful and your voice is really soothing.
Amazing work, Dani! Would love to know more about how it all started for you and how you got into photography, the challenges you've encountered along the way. Can't wait for your trip to Antarctica and Iceland! 😊
Thanks!
YEEEESS!! Finally a new video. So calming and awesome to watch. Watching Dani is literally the peak of my day. Much love from Sweden

@FredCarpenter-pm8bf I am not a zombie Fred.
@FredCarpenter-pm8bf I had a motorcycle crash yesterday so I guess I am a zombie. I just slid out at 30 kmh taking a sharp curve and I didn’t get hurt at all
@FredCarpenter-pm8bf ok 👍 that's fine for me, as long as I can watch Dani Connor Wild
@FredCarpenter-pm8bf do you mean simp? I’m not a simp.
Brilliant. Really really calming. Great music too. Thanks.
Just happened to be matrixed to the squirrel video, and was very pleased by the effort Dani gave to saving wildlife.
Such a beautiful perspective. Iceland, Antarctica, and Japan have been dreams of mine as well. So many beautiful things to capture.

Thanks Dani,
I love your videos and have seen your channel grow from strength to strength, in the last couple of years.

I have recently found your channel Dani, i have to admit that your videos are giving me inner peace. Happy to see people like you exist in our world. Much appreciated! 🐿️❤️
Thank you Dani for this amazing new video, it's so personal and you're so authentic, it's such a pleasure to watch you, thank you very much for that and for your great work, wish you all the best and have a good time 🐿❤️❤️
Thank you so much!! Hello to Balou 🐶
I remeember the little squirrels. I loved that video. Id lost my wife and it was warming to watch that. You're a beautiful lady inside and out. I wish you the best on your life.
My daughter (8 years old) literally screams with excitement when she watches your bunny video 🐇🐰😁
Try taking your daughter out to see ones in real life FFS.
@BlackRain_ we have rabbits in our forest but are very afraid of humans. I see them very rarely on my daily hikes.
@mnemetotoro Thank you for explanation 🙂
Another great video, Dani. It's always a great pleasure to feel that you are taking us along with you on these projects. Thank you for such wonderful photography.
Thank you, Dani, for the Q & A! You are doing a great job💜 Yes, I love your new logo!💜🐿
Good luck, Dani

Same! Most of my friends have a tail 😂
You meant plandemic, when hospitals got $15k for EVERY1 who "died" from Covid? Like eaten by a shark, still died from Covid?
plandemic?
On the "dislikes" about Sweden:
I Really Enjoy your Channel. Very refreshing. I Love Photography and Nature . All Life. Keep up your Great Work❤❤❤🔥😇🔥❤❤❤
Oh what wonderful news about getting the squirrel forest.

Hi Dani,
Regarding large bodies of water: Please, wear some kind of PFD (Personal Flotation Device).
? It would be interesting to know :)
Keep up the good work.
Gotta run.
Hi Danni what a great video to de-stress after the Wimbledon final!!. Noticed the dragonfly at 04:50 would you consider doing any macro photography?
Sweden is so beautiful.I want to go there someday
@@SvengelskaBlondie there are allot of natural forests, plantations are in the minority. Sweden is mostly natural Forest, have you ever been to southern Sweden!

Hi Dani, love your video’s! But…sometimes I worry for you when you go up the lake without a life-vest, especially when you’re alone…🙏🏽take care
Ditto, I was just about to comment on that.
I'm actually moving to Sweden this week (Umeå). I hate bugs, so I'm a little worried by your video. I was told (unsolicited) that they're only bad a couple weeks out of the year. We'll see.
Mosquitos during the summer can be quite bad sometimes but during most of the year there will be no bugs at all. (born in Umeå)
Oh dear, They taste so good, venison is a delicacy.
what an inspiring and beautiful journey you're on... thanks for being so open and sharing with us
Well, I think we need some context here for non sweeds...
Dislikes about Sweden? Swish! It’s a nightmare for us ‘Foreigners’ you can’t pay for anything anywhere……honestly not even us Finnish tourists can pay at flea markets and smaller places. We really need a Nordic system not just a country mobile payment system!
Rant over 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Huh, I never really thought about how Swish affects you, our neighbours. That needs to be fixed.
Credit card? cash? it's not that difficult
@@TheSigmaQueen It is! So many places won’t accept credit cards….and yes it’s fine if you happen to be near a cash point. This is mostly because buying privately everyone uses Swish mobile pay.
@@TheSigmaQueen Many stores don’t take cash and plenty of flea markets just use Swish.
@@E-jit Never heard of a flea market that wont take cash. Also how would you propose that 2 countries that operate with different banks solve a quick transfer cash app?
most stores in sweden still take cash aswell though
Lovely video, there is something special about the atmosphere. The way you mix different content is unique, you got a new subscriber from Norway
Hope you come to Alaska some day… You won’t be disappointed! Here in the Anchorage area, our Squirrels are the size of chipmunks…lol
😢😢😢same feeling
Sweden is losing about 1-2 percent of forests to clearcutting, mostly mixed natural forests, every year. Watch More of Everything - film about Swedish forestry. There are many lies out there, and people still doing it.
Love this, thank you for sharing. Looking forward to your rewilding project. I would love to know more about your organization from your footage.
So glad I found your channel. Something so nice to enjoy.
Wow, what a great video! Thanks for sharing. I wish you all the best for the future.
wow, iceland! love to go there, lots of hot springs and very cool places along the coast.. its all about filters in iceland, specially your borealis filters
