I just purchased one of these clippers a month ago, it had been working pretty amazing, and today, I turned it on and it was very loud, with or without a blade. Any advice or guess of what can cause that noise? Thank you so much
Try tightening the screws on the Hinge. It takes a Torx 10 but. Even a 1/4 turn can Make difference. making a lot of noise with without a blade. You should get it to your local Sharpener assuming they do clip repair. Because then it’s probably an internal issue, like the motor mount screws or the foam pad around the motor. Would this work with normal grooming blades also? I'm really interesting in buying this for grooming, but I am unsure if it will be safe. { If so, Where would I be able to get this from you?}
Sorry for not seeing this comment sooner. Yes this will absolutely work with your regular A5 style grooming blades. How loud are these in comparison to other clippers? I currently have an andis excel 5 speed, do you know how it compares?
I find them to be very quiet. Not loud at all. The KMX has the same top speed as the Andis excel 5 speed.
Can i use the KMX for dog grooming if i buy the appropriate blades?
