Hello, groomers.
This is Jessie with Sharp Edges in Oklahoma.
And today I wanted to talk about changing the hinge on your KMX clipper.
Let's go down close.
So this has two screws. These are t ten torch tins bits.
Um, so we'll just unscrew those one and two. You'll take the hinge off, and the hinge comes in two different pieces.
There's actually, this is the blade latch. This is what holds the blades on the clipper. Um, and this is the hinge.
So you'll get your new one, and you'll want to put this latch back on the blade. I recommend always replacing the blade latch with the hinge.
Because this little hook right here can get weak and stretched out, which will cause your blades to, um, pull away from your clipper.
So when you're putting it back on the clipper, you want to put those little pins through the holes in the, of the blade latch.
Put it back on the clipper like that.
Put the hinge back on the clipper, and we'll put our screws back in. It.
