Saying Goldberg "didn't know what was going on" doesn't do concussions justice. Concussions make you lose the ability to make memories. It probably went something more like he was in his locker room getting ready to make his entrance, his music hit and he was about to head butt the door as usual, and then either later that evening or the next morning he was either minding his own business chilling or getting up from bed before he realized he doesn't remember what happened 2 minutes ago or going to bed, and then realizing he doesn't remember an entire night, and then realizing he had a match he doesn't remember having, etc etc. It sucks. I assume it was a similar situation with Undertaker at Wrestlemania 30, he even said himself he doesn't remember anything from that day after like 1 pm, so there's a chance Goldberg doesn't even remember being in his locker room.
