"Don't worry, I'll save your progress, always. Even your mistakes." is such a simple throwaway line, but the way its worded kind of frames mistakes as a form of progress. Great writing.
I love how the designer put the snake there to send you to the beginning by mistake, to rub it in and play with your mind he put the sign up to not ride the snake, and yet he put a note saying he's sorry in the credits for sending you to the bottom from your mistakes
I beat GOI just yesterday, and I've also seen a buncha ppl play it, and you're the only person who did so with a weaker reaction than me, and the only time I got mad was the time I fell from the icy area all the way down to square 1. Btw I found the ice part to be the second hardest part with the hardest being that one rock climbing area at 7:57 Edit: I wasn't satisfied with my previous time,( which was 29:47) so I tried again, this time beating the game in 15:44. Just in case you're wondering, I actually found goi to be really fun. Maybe cuz I have a soft spot for it, cuz I beat it twice. Maybe cuz I grew up playing platformers as a kid. I dunno
The first time I beat GOI I mostly had fun, falling made me lose progress, but it was fun just playing the game I never really started getting frustrated until after I beat it. On my second run, I actually started getting annoyed at losing progress, but never on my first playthrough

Agreed. It's surprisingly well written and acted. Almost makes me feel bad that it's featured in a game that frustrates players to the point where they're unlikely to be paying any attention to it.
You just flew through the parts with the lights that take me forever, then you struggle up the building with the refrigerator i can usually get first or second try. Lol. I guess everyone is better at different parts.
And good news: I finished the game for the first time in 2 hours And for the second time, I did a little speed run and it was 25 minutes I play this Game on my Mobile❤❤❤❤❤😎😎😎😎😎😏😏😏😃😃😃😃
I hate how condescending the voice is at times, the way he treats this like it's the best way to make any game, it just makes me angry, though likely not as angry as you might've gotten whilst recording this.

It's so close to the end, so you're nervous, and if you fail it there's a good chance you'll slide on the snake.
