Great video IV been in lawn care twenty years and had Xterra break i did Three week s worth of work in area on zero turn and ropes hauling two ae aeratershauling seeds in Camry and bike lol didn't miss a single day too much bought a f150 and moving on great video
Wish I made money off of this when I was 12, but I made $50 taking care of a neighbor’s garden while he was on vacation around that time so it sort of evens out lol. Going to try it this summer, wish you the best of luck lil bro
Looking at helping my son start up a lawn care business and we came across this video. We are impressed! Well done young man! Hit us up if you have any tips you can share with my 9 year old is wants to start his mowing business in spring of 2024. Best to you!
From a fellow lawn Guy: Great job fellas, you're earning your dollars. Remember a few things going forward so you can make even more money: First, calculate your maintenance cost (what it cost to repair and operate the lawn equipment, you can include fuel in this too) Second, set aside your earnings and divide them in the following ways A. If you two plan on doing this throughout you high-school and maybe a bit beyond reinvest into the business. You can buy better equipment that cost less to operate and gets things done even faster. (Research before you buy!) B. Invest in your future. You can do this in two ways. If you're college or tech school bound stash some money in a fund that will mature over the next four years. The disadvantage you can't touch that money for four years. The advantage, the money grows without any additional work on your part. If you're not sure if college or tech school is in your future put some of that cash in a Roth 401K you cant touch the money till much later but it will be much larger than what you put in now. Again, great job!
My dad and me mow the grass that you cut left more grass piles so blow all of that it will look good after keep up the good work guys I like to see this
Just a tip ive been mowing for a while use ur weeder to get the grass going in the concreate lines and edge over grown side walks people will appreciate it
I'm autistic and I do landscaping with a subcompact garden tractor but I have a SMV sign and 4 way flashers as it's required for it because it's a tractor no matter how big it is look up road requirements for farm equipment in your state and go by that
If you don't have a truck and trailer just get a SMV sign for it it's farm equipment no matter how big it is because a tractor is a tractor no matter how big it is
At the very beginning, they would knock doors. They would always do their best, now they have to turn down work because everyone likes how their lawns look. If you get one client... do your best and your business will grow.
I sent out flyers all over my neighborhood and only one person has called us and we are doing their lawn weekly. Keep in mind that I passed these out around June 27-29, how do I get more people to call me and have me mow their lawn in my neighborhood also I live in VA and the lawns are pretty big and they are hilly and have slopes how much should I charge for mowing a lawn?
@@CROSSECUTZ that's great!! Hopefully you get to the point where you can pick up more costumes. Maybe one day you can make a video of how you for started doing this.
Do not flash money like that unless you guys want to be part of a robbery and you loose all your hard earn money for showing off what you guys make cutting grass, be very careful with others around you in the streets.

It all depends on what others are charging in your area and the quality of work that we are doing. We charge between 20 and 25 for front lawns depending on the size!
Great Job! But think, dont share the money like that. First take the money out, what you use for gas and other things. Then put some money in a extra pocket for the case, something goes broken or you guys need some new equipment. If you do so, you are safe. Try to handle it, like you are businessmen. This is now the perfekt time to learn this skills too. Keep going on. 👍

Nice but you might want to weed eat the cracks in the sidewalk and driveway. You both are doing so well!
a tip if your using the lawn tractor on a big lawn, you can take off the protection thingy from the cutting unit. Prevents clumps of grass in lawn.

How much should I charge for a normal size front lawn?
It all depends on what others are charging in your area and the quality of work that we are doing. We charge between 20 and 25 for front lawns depending on the size!
