I find it weird how people are saying layrs is a greenseer and not just a warg (when they are much more common)
Personally I don't see it but it's an interesting idea, it has to be said. I feel that he is making the best of being differently abled in a society that only values a specific set of "manly" attributes.
He was probably bullied mercilessly for being unable to fight in battle, naturally damaging his male ego. As such, he realised must needs have some ability to compensate for his lack of physical prowess. A liar's tongue in place of sword, a charlatan's wit in lieu of shield and finally a foot fetish...for reasons I feel too obvious to warrant writing.
Man, please stop using the gerund so often. Use the present tense! Also, that's not what a "conspiracy theory" is.
