I’m from Australia, have had my 2007 C3 since new and still looks and drives like new. It’s only got 55,000 kilometres on the clock. Runs very well here in our extreme heat, very economical. Very reliable the only money I have ever spent on it other than regular servicing was $4 for the break light globe on the hatch door, that’s it, not bad for an 11 year old car.
your weather will be a little bit better than ours and not as inclement, snow, ice rain, etc, these all play a part in causing parts to fail over her, but Citroens are good cars now, and we don't have any problems with them (well no more than any other makes)
The car is exactly the same as my current C3 1.4 5 door. And, personally, I will not have any other car than a Citroen C3 Desire - they are so beautiful to drive. The engine is lovely and quiet and, honestly, driving one is like floating on air. Takes around 11 seconds to go 0-60 but once up there they can't half shift. And they are, for a petrol car, economical with fuel as well. Seats are very comfortable, adjustable and raised which means you don't have to strain your neck looking straight ahead down the road. All mod cons you'd expect now in a car. High wheel base means it is easy to get in and out. And she just looks gorgeous!
Is it good as a first car for a beginner driver? Also I would like to know if it is expensive in exploitation? I've heard there are some issues with electronics but you know, different people say different things :D
I have a 1.6 automatic, exclusive,( panoramic sunroof and metallic paint job) 2008, paid £1495, and i love it, i cant seem to find the way to alter the steering wheel tho, now i have seen you do it i am gonna look there.
The only advice I'd give when buying, Luke, is, if you've got the money, go to a dealer. The cars will be tested before they go on the forecourt for sale. Depends which garage you use - some little things you can do yourself if you know how - but they are well worth it. A C3 is such a lovely car. I currently own one - same spec as Barrie drove - and it is an absolute dream to drive.
I Like this car very much.Im looking for a cheap automatic, beautifull car,max 1,600 cc.For an automatic 1,6 Vtr version 2007-2008-2009 model with like 120,000 kms how much do you suggest me to pay??i want the car very good, like new at interion and absolute good in general, mechanical, body etc from private dealer, with book of full service history.i wouldnt spend more than 2,000 euros...
It's a good car for me, but the 1.1 petrol engine is not powerful enough for this car. I should have bought one with 1.4 or 1.6 petrol or 1.4 diesel engine.
Don't let Lloyd vehicle consulting anywhere near it, Stanley knife to the cambelt. After they have jumped up and down on the roof. Morons on the loose.

Thankyou for taking us on your journey with you.
I have one of those and I haven't driven it as yet, but your video has inspired me to do so.
Why is it so therapeutic hearing a car go up and down the gears and watching it drive? I’m the only one? Oh ok
I am hoping to get a second hand one of these ace Citroen’s. lovely motors
BTW, really enjoyed watching your video, the countryside over there is beautiful.
thank you for watching,
Fantastic little car, I’ve got the same model except mine is burgundy red

Is it possible to put a bigger engine in this car ?
if you have enough money anything is possible
@@BarrieCrampton let's just say you but a new engine and new brakes and everything would the car last long even if the miles over 100,000 on the car ?
I would like to know what to look out for on a Citroen c3 I'm looking to buy one are they cheap to fix if any thing goes wrong
they are good cars, we dont really have any problems with them
They are pieces of junk that give so many problems even before 80000 miles.

What are those things over the dash air vents??
Thats the radio and fuel computer display, but on video it makes it appear to flicker
Have you been drinking again ?
