Dewd! This has really sped up my workflow. I'm running the Behringer Xtouch Mini and Midi2lr and it's amazing! ( I mean, as amazing as editing photo's can get.) Thanks for the videos!
Nice! I love to get feedback like this. I totally checked out used x-touch minis in case I wanted to reduce my footprint since the CMD surfaces are on the large side. I'm glad to hear it works well.
Alternatively, rather than paying for a plugin, midi2lr is free
But have some shitty issue sync with CMD DV-1

As a follow on from this, have you looked at any of the cheap DIY macropads? I've been going down that rabbit hole... but also for sending MIDI signals, so it's a mixed bag, plus there's soldering to be done with DIY.
I have looked at some, but I haven't personally tried any of them. I'm not afraid of soldering though either. The one I have been most tempted to try is the XanceLabs Quick Keys, because of the price point and the fact that it has Adobe Templates included. In fact that's what I was going to get before I tried this out and it worked so well. I had also looked at some of the brand X $30 and under compact ones with what look like 4-6 keyboard keys and a knob or two, just because my beringer takes up a lot of desk space, but I haven't committed to them because I'm not sure about how many of the controls that I use the most can be macro'd, whereas I know I can do the direct access with midi mapping.

Hey Rob. I have had no issues so far. I am on 12.2.1 (Win 11) and I have been using this over many updates without a single hiccup.
can you apply a preset to a button?
I'm not sure since I don't really use presets. If not you could probably use the copy/paste edits after applying it to your first image, but again I'm not positive. If you can apply a preset with a key or key combo you should be able to assign that function in LR Control.
Does this controller works with MIDI2LR ?
Probably. It is a Midi controller so it should but I can't guarantee it.
I bought this, but with knobs I can only move value +/- 2, I get info: saturation/vibrance etc. controller not syncronized @@seymourecarnage
OK that sync issue was with MIDI2LR, now I'm testing LrControl trial. I don't have that issue but I have another, to big or way too small movement increment (value 5 or 0.01). Can I change this? I dont want to turn know few times 360 to make big change in editing, and 5 is also not precise. @@seymourecarnage
