I have a 2024 Grom, 142mpg and filled it up yesterday with E5 premium and it cost £6.01p, I have an xadv 750 and this is my commuting to work bike, I got rid of mySmart car and bought the Grom, and it gets me to work in15 mins passing all the car drivers stuck in traffic. 😊👍🏻
I've got a 22 monkey and the most I've put in the tank is £7.50 from empty.. and that's the premium E5 petrol. I take it on the green lanes and all sorts best bike I've ever had.
Bit of a fun one there Jake I remember them first time around they looked a bit different back in the day .Useful cheap to run little workhorse I reckon , you could put that in the back of an estate car and take with ya on a weekend break or something 😊👌good one
The original Honda Monkey (the "Z" bike0 was released in 1974 (1972 in the US). It had a 49cc engine. Production ended in 2017 and the new Monkey 125 was released in 2018 (and sold as a 2019 model). Before all that, the first "Monkey" came out in 1960 and was an amusement park ride for children. It was refined and put into mass production for the European market in 1964. You are lucky you can go to the dealer and test drive them. None of the dealers in the US have any. I've had one on order for a month and it will be a couple more months before the dealers start getting them again.
Awesome bikes….Great video. Love my 2019 Banana Yellow. You can take these anywhere. I’ve done river crossings, the dragon rally…Takes me back to the ST70 I had as a kid in the early Eighties…Cheers Dean aka MonkeyDixAdventures
I love this bike! Thanks for the review. Just wondering... for someone who's never had a naked bike, what's the wind like? I've heard others say they don't mind wind, even without a screen. But I'm curious.
I saw some where on UA-cam that Honda is bringing the DAX. Back, but 125cc🤘🏻wenn I was I kid I drooled over the DAX 50cc It was my dream bike wenn I was young 😍😄
Had mine two years now and love it, it's an amazing little bike 👍
That’s good to hear!!
Cheers from the Smoky Mountains Tennessee, U.S.A. I got myself a yellow one 'bout a month ago and love it. Peace Be The Journey
Greetings!! Great bikes and colours too.

Yes!! you often see them strapped to the back of camper vans, probably due to its light weight and size but what a great fun bike they are.
it's really hard not to love this bike.
Yes it’s a great fun bike! Honda is also bringing back the ST125 DAX next year apparently, I’ll definitely have to jump on one of them.

Your welcome glad you enjoyed it! This is a great fun bike to ride, grab yourself a test ride. Wind wasn’t an issue tbh.
I have a 2019 Honda Monkey 125cc in red.
I have more fun on my Honda Money than any of my other motorbikes.
I love em! Great fun bikes.
Love these, just trying to justify the purchase. Always been a supersport rider.
Great fun to ride!
Love the monkey, just subbed mate
Nice one cheers! Great bikes aren’t they.
@@RiderReviews yea seen loads at the TT this year which has sparked my interest
TT is definitely on my list! Would love to go.

Yes they are and what great little machines they look too with the sausage dog frame design. 👍
Buy one, you must!
If you get the mirror extenders from Amazon, the visibility goes from a 2 to a 9
Nice one!
Thought the area looked familiar , Heartsease to your right, hoping to get one soon,
You’ll love it!
Can I ask how tall you are….and body build?
Reason I ask is because I’d love a monkey but I’m 6ft and 16st 🤦🏻♂️ too tall/ big?
5ft 7” medium build….
The bigger you are .. the bigger the smile you'll wear!!
You'll feel like a Gorilla riding a tricycle , but you literally won't give a Monkeys!!
Your accent is familiar??
Norfolk or Suffolk?
Norfolk Nath.
@@RiderReviews Same, I've a Blue '22 monkey too!
Brilliant aren’t they!
Insurance on this is actually very high. Come near London and a 20+ year rider is paying a grand.
Wow a Grand Rob, sounds a bit pricey to me.
@@RiderReviews literally going to through it at the moment. Use a NW3 or SE1 postcode and see what happens! As it’s a second bike I have zero NCB.
@@neural9 Wouldn't you be better off having a multi bike policy?
