    The last temple you visited calls "Wat Prasrisanpetch". It is one of the most important in the ruined city. It is a former Royal Palace during that period. After Ayutthaya was destroyed, the new Royal Palace is the current Grand Palace in Bangkok.
    If you look at the 3 big pagodas in the last temple, one 1 of the same design was build in Royal temple at the Grand Palace. Well, the one at the Royal temple at the Grand Palace is cover with gold. libreshot.com/stupa-in-grand-palace-in-bangkok/ (in BKK) compared to goo.gl/yfdi7d (in Ayutthaya).
    One thing for you to imagine is that all those pagodas in Ayutthaya were all cover with gold. So, when foreigners arrive at Ayutthaya by boat, in the past, they will see lots of building cover in Gold. That is how impressive Ayutthaya was once.

      @Sok Heng Cambodians like to say that Thailand has a copy of Cambodia. In fact, it is a common culture. Another thing to say that Thailand steals that land is a lie. Because Cambodia lost the war with Siam, it must be confiscated back to understand. new

      @Sok Heng After the construction of Ayutthaya in 1893, the Cambodian chronicle and many Thai chronicles said the match.
      Details of the Cambodian war at that time, portraying Phasak in the Thai society book Before the Ayutthaya period that
      Ramathibodi (U Thong) for Phra Rametwara Lopburi's first-born son But Rameshavaram was conquered by the Viceroy of Cambodia. Expelled to attack the Thai army. Phra Si Sawat The son of Ramathibodi died in the middle of the battle.
      Ramathibodi called Khun Luang Phawng, the wife of the ruler of Suphanburi Raise to help This time, therefore, hit Nakorn Thom. Herded many people and carried things. Cambodian chronicles say that this battle, Phra Lampong Racha, King Sri Yasothon Pura Died in battle
      This war with Cambodia, Chit Phumisak, suggested that it shouldn't come from "Renegade" but there is a deeper political reason for the game
      Portraying the Kingdom of Lan Xang Kingdom of Tao Fah Ngum That it is a new kingdom that is formidable and respected by many neighboring states Sukhothai, which used to be extended to the city of U (River U, Phongsali and Luang Prabang) in the reign of King Ramkhamhaeng Must accept the boundary of the blue sky
      Thai rumored inscription There is a border saying "At the east ... to bury the city of Phaya Thao Fah ..." means the Mekong River bordering the land of the Tao Fa hook.
      The growth of Lan Xang Kingdom Ramathibodi I was probably worried and careful. Because when the sky is hooked up as a king Really crossed the Mekong City Strike Big City Less to Roi Et Almost arrived in Ayutthaya
      The chronicles of Laos said that Tao Fah Ngow received a message to Ramathibodi I that he wanted to gather people in the Mekong River on both sides. Not sure if it will crash or not. Ayudhya has the message that
      We are the only children of the same father. Since Khun Phrom's era You want the land. To only keep the area of Phu Sam Sao to the mountain of Phraya Father (Dong Phraya Fai)
      Incidentally, if Queen Kaew Yot Fah There are already many people. Will send to wipe the pillow mat (Consecrated) so that our kingdom will be able to be brothers and sisters forever and long
      Portraying an analysis that looks as though Hermes would give his daughter Shows that Thai politics at that time was unable to conflict with Lan Xang To reserve goodwill Do not let Tao Fah hook up to help Krung Sri Yasothon Pura
      In the chronicles of Laos Khao Fa Ngao did not lack friendship with Cambodia. The Cambodian king invites Thao Fah Ngow to visit Yodthornpura. Gave the Buddha to watch according to this, the Krungsriyothornpura Then walked on a leaning leaning on the Lan Chang Kingdom
      Thai troops went to annex Cambodia. 1895-1896 Did not conquer Just forcibly Transporting belongings back Because the Cambodian people seek refuge in Thailand
      Before that, diplomatic relations between Thailand and Cambodia Have agreed Melody Both sides will not interfere with Laos.
      But when the Cambodian people play the game to support the sky Causing a civil war in Laos In order to gain influence over Laos The Ayutthaya decided to declare war on Cambodia.
      Chit said that the year of war Just set up Ayutthaya for two years. Thailand is strong. Has high international political status Thai society is firmly settled. Diplomatic relations between Thailand and Cambodia have already existed before then.
      Zhou Quan, Chinese ambassador to the Cambodian court, 1839-1850 Year of King Srinawararomthep (Before the 55 years of war) note down the memory that Cambodia at that time was very broken. Because being invaded by Thailand
      That war said that it was a war between Cambodia and Sukhothai. Or with the Muang Rat state of Pho Khun Pha Mueang (In Phra Nakhon Ratchasima) or with the Ayodhaya Sri Ram Thep Nakorn region Not yet specified
      But if you ask the Cambodian people about which country they know the most The answer is Korat. They call that city Nakhon Ratchasima (pronounced Angkor).
      There is an ancient Khmer song played in a musical. Called the Pasak Gorea song Or Nakhon Ratchasima music Phnom Penh Radio also plays this song. Listen to howling, not losing the song Mon Thai crying at all.

    I had no problem with climbing up but it was difficult when climbing back down. I'm wondering if people of Ayutthaya in the past were very small lol. Sukhothai is another great city to visit if you like Ayutthaya.

      Farangthink how far is Sukhothai from Chiang Mai? Maybe we can make that happen when we go there in November! Also, I think you’re right about the population being small!

    • @farangthink8001
      @farangthink8001 6 років тому +3

      Hi, Stacia
      It would take you around 4-5 hours by car or bus. If you plan to go to Sukhothai, I would recommend you to stay at Baan Na Ton Chan Homestay. This is a village in Sukhothai which allows you to stay for a night with villagers. (I think 500 Baht per person per night inc. dinner and breakfast).
      Feel free to ask me if you have any other questions about traveling in Thailand, especially northern part of the country. I’m living just 2 hours away from Sukhothai.

    Thailand has many important archaeological sites. That used to be the capital of ancient empires such as Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Lopburi, Kamphaeng Phet, Petchabun, Si Satchanalai, I wish you a happy journey.

    Just finished watching this vid, and I really appreciate the way you both present the ancient historical sites. I understand that it may be a bit of a chore, but the experience of actually being at these ruins are much more immersive if you can study up on their history before hand. In fact, you can imagine how you would feel if the city was all new, which is like you’re walking among people of the ancient civilization. Looking forward to many more vids. Thanks!

    Amazing video and content. I visited last April. I'm convinced I have to return. My huge mistake was I hit the ground running. After a 26 hr flight, room ck-in and shower, I tuk tuk'd straight to Hua Lamphong, en route to Ayutthaya. I hit a wall after three hours.Humidity didn't help. Definitely going to overnight there my next trip in May.
    Great work, guys !

    It looks like you two are feeling pretty comfortable now in Thailand! I never made it up to Ayutthaya when I was in BKK, I got a cold and was sick for a few days, so it was great to see your video of the location. If you are heading to Siem Reap in the near future, I think you will be very impressed with those, too! I got goosebumps when riding my motorbike up to Angkor Wat. Also, I will be looking forward to hearing how you like the A7 iii, and seeing your videos using the camera! I am thinking of purchasing that camera in the next month or two. Stay safe, and keep the great videos coming, I am sure I speak for everyone else, we love them!

    It has been years since I visited Ayutthaya so it is good to see the changes. Years and years ago, you can pretty much explore the ruins with very few restrictions.. If you love ancient ruins and archaeological wonders on a truly epic proportions, Burma and Cambodia are the big kahunas. Hope you have time to visit those two.. • @DeathByVlog
      @DeathByVlog  6 років тому

      I just takes some practice to be smooth with movement. I’m sometimes taking the same shot like 3 or 4 different times just to get it right. But the outcome is always worth it. Breathing out slowly (exhaling) when moving also helps. Using 3 points of contact with the body so you are more stable and also “falling” into the movement then catching yourself before you actually fall lol

  • @SJ-jv9kc
    @SJ-jv9kc 6 років тому +2

    Hi. Did you visit Wat Chaiwatthanaram? Is going to this wat worth it? I noticed that none of the "official" tours include it on their itineraries.
    Thanks. Also, how long did it take you to see the various wats?

    • @DeathByVlog
      @DeathByVlog  6 років тому

      We did visit! It was the second to last temple we visited. It was incredibly worth it. One of our favorite stops... it was nice because it was right on the river. Probably the reason tours don't include it is that it's farther away from the Ayutthaya Historical Park and other wats. It was pretty busy when we went, there were a lot of people in traditional Chinese garb taking photos for their special events. I would allow 1 hour for each wat especially if you want to stop and take pictures :) Have fun!

That chamber is the chamber that Ayutthaya King kept the national treasure such as The golden crown of Ayutthaya or the golden Buddha. If you want to see all of this treasure you have to go to Chaosampraya national museum that located near by the temple.
