This is actually one of the projects I'm currently working on. I recently found some suitable bones, but they need to be sanitized (cooked) first. There'll be a video on the complete process in the not-too-far future. ;-)
I guess you could (I haven't tried it yet), but I think there are materials better suited (i.e. longer-lasting) than this stuff. I'm currently testing two other plants for flute making, and if they work out, and a blowgun might be a good spin-off project.
Those pinks are gorgeous.
very cool
Saw a comment from you on chads channel. Your vids are amazing, sucks how the algorithm promotes garbage these days
An upload! Nice to see you back
Please more flute videos
Stay tuned, I'm nowhere near done with primitive instrument ideas. :-)
Thank you, very useful video. Will be making a simple flute for my neolithic kit.
curious how difficult it would be to make a flute from bone, have you ever tried?

I would try cooking them in wood ash and coals to whiten them and remove bacteria.
Can you make a blowgun from those plants?
