That's true, I was in Trivandrum, and i went to Shree Padmanabhaswamy temple,i forgot my wallet in hotel, with no cash/card, people were so helpful, a person offered me tea, snacks all for free after knowing my situation, other guy dropped me to my hotel back without any money. Really sweet people.
I live in Calicut, Kerala and I had forgotten my mobile at least 4 times in an auto and each time the Auto Driver came to my house and returned it without any compensation. Honest citizens here. My husband had also similar experience with I pad. The auto driver came home n returned it. You will see placards in bus stops or in by lanes saying A gold chain has been found. Owner contact so and so no. If there's a note on the road I have seen no one picks it. Simple reason is they do not take what is not theirs.
I lived in Kerala for sometime. I used to travel by bus, they always gave me the balance even if it is 25 or 50 paisa. As North Indian it is hard to digest such responsibility. 😂
Thank You ❤- from a Malayalee. You were very good and you received good treatment. Many North Indians behave bad, and are very loud, and rude and Malayalees do not appreciate it.

Smile and politely ask for any help you need, keralite will go extra mile to treat you nicely.

Being a malayalee I feel Happy to know your experience in Kerala. Keralites are more matured and well mannered while interacting with others. Ofcourse they do not speak English or Hindi, but they understand it b.cose English & Hindi are compulsory languages in all schools from primary level. There are more good & few bad peoples everywhere, even in developed and under developed nations. Myself stayed and worked 20 years in Delhi, UP, Gujarat & Mumbai from 1970 till 1991. I'm a keralite and i stayed at North India for 5 years. What I felt there was there is a constant tension in the life of people. It makes life very chaotic. Made me feel like surving rather living.
People in Kerala are influenced by Middle East or other foreign country cultures...even many auto drivers are gulf returners...so they have a better and generous outlook towards the people.
Yes Kerala people are really sweet. Once our car got locked (key was inside) (old car) ,when a sweet corn vendor (lady) came to know this she called all the local people to help. It was such a nice gesture from them.

First of all Thank you for the good comments about Kerala. I am a keralite lived in Delhi for 12 years. So I can understand both sides of the culture. Though now these days I am fearing Kerala is going away from its hospitality than before. Still at ground level more good people are there than bad. I think north Indians are more kind to animals than keralites. But Keralites are more kind to humans than north Indians. May be these are because of the influence of religion, politics and cast systems. There are lot of food totally vegetarian in Kerala, but because of lack of knowledge about it may be the reason of bad food experience and also Kerala do not have much north Indian foods. I had same experience in Delhi too about the food taste, which we are not accustomed to. At the end we are all humans, be kind to all. Loka Samastha Sukhino bhavandhoo.
I as a North Indian had similar experiences in Kerala. It's the best state I've visited purely in terms of the people who are easily the best across India. I had similar pleasant events in Kerala. And agree with your point, they properly guide the people and also help the tourists out.
Thank you dear friend. I am a Ketalite and happy to hear good feedback about my state..... The only problem you may face in Kerala is availability of North Indian food. 7:09- its because of the safe environment a person get from birth in Kerala, instilling a sence of trust in everyone. When I travelled first time in public transport in a North Indian city, a lady standing beside told to hold my bag towards backside so that she can get more space. When I got down and searched for a purse it was gone. It happened again in a market place. Both time I had to file FIR for lost student ID card. Later I learned precautions from my North Indian friends. When auto driver demanded amount 'sat'(60), I gave 70 because of confusion with 'saat'. It happened many times and none of them returned the change. In Kerala bargaining never happen, that became another point of my overly priced items. Of late my North Indian friends bargained for me. When I entered into a service here, one of supporting staff took undue advantage of my generosity untill the amount accumulated so much, then I a took class quoting possible wrath of gods and goddesses, and got some money back. The story continues and am more wise to live in North now.
Im a malayalee...i hv been to Delhi ,up and north east ...people are generally gud in kerala... Especially ,towards guests..they won't loot.. And helpful also..they return ur stuff ,if u leave ur stuff in their vehicle, home, room whatever... And people also live in harmony .. all religions coexist in same community ...
You can find best vegetation food in kerala, might be communication issues. Welcome to Kerala, choose home stay next travel, explore villages, of course difficult to differentiate with city and village.
Every state is different, even Kerala has its own problems, but the best thing i observed there is that no one spits on roads /walls/ any public places.
This has always been so. From ancient time Kerala was a choice destination of refugees. Christian missionaries, Jews, Arabs, and even Vasco da Gama chose the place for their friendliness. Food wise Non vegetarians will find it heavenly but vegetarians will suffer since there are very few good veg -etarian hotels. I hope the tourism department should take note of this since majority of domestic tourists come from this category.
*Mai kerala se hu.. Muje north ke log, food aur unka lifestyle bahut pasand hai.. Idhar koi hindi nahi bolta hai lekin mereko hindi aata hai aur bol bhi sakta hai all thanks to bollywood films and some friends from the north india which i met on pubg 😁💖* *Btw kerala mai aapka swaagat karta hu 😊*
When we reached delhi they tried to kidnap my cousin brother.and they steal gold chain of Malayalee tourist through train window ....it's horrrible exp
A suggestion for North Indians travelling in Kerala. Never order North Indian food in the local restaurants, unless it is an authentic North Indian restaurant ( yes we do have a few in most cities). Rather explore the traditional cuisine if you can. Even cuisine is part of the culture for which you are in Kerala.
Have seen north Indian tourists in hotels, resorts, restaurant and even in local street food counters how these tourists can be foul mouthed, irresponsible, immature, rude to their hosts, their servers, their hotel staff, etc. Look for Saravan bhavan, Anand bhavan, Aarya s, etc. And one thing, malayalais know Hindi, but why should we speak Hindi? U come to my place, so u speak my language. If i come to North and speak Malayalam, will you choose to even spend ur time to understand what i spoke and reply to me?
All the things you say about my people are correct- but please keep kerala clean and prestine. Very often, we come across rich arrogant folks from the north who think they are above us and can buy us. Please talk to them. Also please don't polute our green space.
@@jayakumarpradeepam5142 Thank you, brother. Do you know I don't even believe in going in a houseboat because they are so polluting? Eco-friendly tourism is the only thing we should allow!
In Kerala locals will not loot the people.. most of the locals are helpful and hospitable.. this is why international tourist needs to come first to Kerala. If they go north india first they will face financial exploitation, this is why most of the international tourist stereotype india after going for north india.
Very glad to here your comments in the video above. However, a few points worth sharing..... 1) Many Keralites have very good knowledge of English and Hindi - (which may be an optional subject in school. My Mother taught my brother and myself Hindi, after we settled in Mumbai. ( it is difficult to talk in any language without any practice ) The minute Keralites go out of the state, you will be surprised at their adaptability. 2) Food - 😂😂 I agree. Paneer mutter is only as good or bad as the Dosa and idli avaliable in north India. People say that the Non Veg food in Kerala is very good (being a vegetarian - I cannot comment about it)

The essential difference between a mallu (keralite) and other Indians is that mallus are happy with their situation in life. They aren't madly looking to exploit every opportunity they get to make a little money. The one thing you cannot do in kerala (unlike other parts in India) is treat people based on how they appear. You start being loud mouthed, abusive, you will find them to be the most difficult people you've ever met. Treat people well, be appreciative of your sorroundings, and they will love you right back.
I have an experince Iwas walking through foot path with family .One fellow speeking in phone he was under an old tree One auto came and stop in front of that person one who speeking in mob. Oh man don't stay under that old tree dried branches will fell down With in second a heavy branches fell in front of that person

Disappointed to the core. I came to read some negative comments and I couldn't even find one. Where are all the Kerala Story fans? How did they miss this one?
Been a mallu staying in Bombay.. ur vlog brought a sense of pride man.. lekin food ke matter mei bhi aisa nai hona chaiyee tha.. Dont ever try paneer in kerala kyuki malayalees ka naii hota hai,, there are many substitutes like chana, green peas, avial etc n etc.. Have from local restaurant- you’ll love them..
If you watch kerala story and you believe that kerala is like in that movie.... Just visit kerala atleast 2days... You can realise what is the truth 🥴😏
Please select purely vegetarian places when you are from North India and strictly vegetarian. eg Udupi restaurants, Aryas, Saravana bhavan etc. You may not get exactly same taste as north India, but definitely you will get chappathis, porotas ,dals, aloo Puri and a host of South Indian vegetarian items like dosas, idli ,vada, puttu, appams of various kinds etc. When you are in South India taste South Indian foods. They will be much cheaper in comparison to their rates in North India. Regarding behaviour, most people can understand English and some people Hindi and generally will not misguide you. However there may be exceptions as in any other state.
Local language is Malayalam and you cannot expect that every body will talk Hindi and eat north Indian food, just as we cannot expect that they will talk oor mother tongue there and eat ou food there. Of course there will be exceptions here also.

When we go to north also we have a problem. Mustard oil, if not cooked properly it is nauseating . Pulkas were unheard of in Kerala in the 80s . Now all types of food is available. I stayed in Delhi and every vegetable was cooked with potatoes. Guju food is sweet. In Maha in highways, we get only pav babji, missile pav, etc. Every state have different cuisine in different parts. Kottayam food is different from Kannur other Trivandrum
M an NRK in Pune.Very proud of being Keralite.Reason Literacy class are we.Another reason global immigration accepting best world class culture beyond religion, caste, creed We give humanity importance. In Also helping nature.
Get feed back of labourers from North India.
Wish all Indian states and world be like keralites.
I am not boasting ourself, only one reason, Our Education & life experiences, we educated ourself since 1900's and we traveled allover world & lived foreign countries since 1960's onwards... We experienced life aboard since 1960's ...so we know whats the situation being in a foreign land...🥰
Thank you for ur good comments about kerala people 🥰🥰
❤️☺️
In kerala, most of the people understand Hindi, but they have problem in speaking.. Hindi is teaching from KG itself
No one speaks.rhats truth everyone knows read and right..no one knows talk
The Real Kerala Story ❤
Every state is different, even Kerala has its own problems, but the best thing i observed there is that no one spits on roads /walls/ any public places.
Literacy in kerala is the highlight... Even auto drivers have bachelors degree
Idhar koi hindi nahi bolta hai lekin mereko hindi aata hai aur bol bhi sakta hai all thanks to bollywood films and some friends from the north india which i met on pubg 😁💖*
*Btw kerala mai aapka swaagat karta hu 😊*
Ma bhi bol sakta hu hindi, aur mere saare frnds bhi hindi bol sakte he 😌👍🏻
I am from alappy.
proud to hear these comments.
As a malayalee happy to hear this ❤
When we reached delhi they tried to kidnap my cousin brother.and they steal gold chain of Malayalee tourist through train window ....it's horrrible exp
Hai am from kochi city, kerala
We are very friendly guyz
A suggestion for North Indians travelling in Kerala. Never order North Indian food in the local restaurants, unless it is an authentic North Indian restaurant ( yes we do have a few in most cities). Rather explore the traditional cuisine if you can. Even cuisine is part of the culture for which you are in Kerala.
മലയാളി പൊളിയാ 😎
അതാണ്,.😃
No Keralite will tolerate disrespect however poor he may be. We also don't tolerate rudeness and rowdy behavior at public places.
@@jayakumarpradeepam5142 Thank you, brother. Do you know I don't even believe in going in a houseboat because they are so polluting? Eco-friendly tourism is the only thing we should allow!
Waited so long for this one😊😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏thank you so so much ❤️
One & only God's Own Country 🏝️🌴🌧️

I really enjoyed 😊

Auo riksha story is common 90%……good and bad people r everywhere..stilll..malayali’s r polite
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT...SALIMON FROM DELHI
I have an experince Iwas walking through foot path with family .One fellow speeking in phone he was under an old tree One auto came and stop in front of that person one who speeking in mob. Oh man don't stay under that old tree dried branches will fell down With in second a heavy branches fell in front of that person
This is the real kerala story. We love all our north Indian brothers. Let's vote against hate and hate propaganda.
And We could speak Tamil, Hindi , English and few of them will speak Kannada and Telugu. Gulf returners will speak Arabic too.....!!!
I am from Malappuram dist...lived 3year in Kochi... kochi people are well mannered gentle people compared to other areas including malprm..I love kochi
Malappram poeple are more friendly with great hospitality...as once i was there in kottakkal aryvaidhyashala...
Yes..if u visit..south india.. Most people guide u there..
Bhai, sunke bahut achha laga. Achhe log har jaga milte he. Mujhe zindagi me sabse zyada help north Indians ne kiya tha. Keep spreading goodness.
With love from a Keralite.
Bro, how did you improve Hindi speaking. Asking as a Malayali, who has to join a college in the north.
I am assuming you were not born and brought up outside Kerala
Disappointed to the core. I came to read some negative comments and I couldn't even find one. Where are all the Kerala Story fans? How did they miss this one?
Spread love ❤️

It's true people very polite and never cheat
Proud to be a malayalee 🥰
It's very true . People are very nice.
When you travel you should leave aside your nakhras or don't travel. You can't carry your house everywhere.

Do din me logo ki sacchai nahi pata chalti mere dost chill karo
Do din bhi behuth he ji
Kerla is nice yaaar....tottally diffrent from noth india.....
@@BABYMALAYIL udupi ,aryas, saravanabavn is in Kerala?
