So true. Men also ghost when they realize you have standards that you refuse to waiver on. Standards that they refuse to meet. They ghost and take the path of least resistance and find a “pick me” with little to no standards. Then they try to come back complaining about her, her lack of self respect, and the drama. 😂 In my experience ghosts have nothing new to say and haven’t changed. typically men prefer to deal with women that make it easy. meaning the woman text more example, or is more receptive to him. the woman that doesnt make it easy he will ghost for the other women that do.

Alize Hustle same thing happened to me .,he only wanted to text me and I figured out he had another woman because he never called me and would make plans of us hanging out but wouldn’t text to confirm or would text two to three weeks later like nothing happened. I told him to be with his other woman b/c I didn’t want to be no side piece and not gonna chase no man I ghosted him. He called from three different numbers with the nonsense asking how I was doing with my career trying to start the texting again… I never responded..he got Ghosted😅

Aside from ghosting, I'd like to add that conflict avoiding people are often so hard to live with even if they're committed to you. Married life with them would be one of a hell because the real life challenges require us to have difficult conversations. And conflict avoidants just know about running away

What to do when guys get ghost or fall off a cliff?
Answer: Step 1, send prayers (of gratitude for the divine protection)
Step 2, send condolences (mentally ofc, because they missed out on a good thing for goodness knows whatever reason, not that it behooves you to know)
Step 3, gotta take care of (your) spirits. Exorcise your phone (delete his number), burn a candle for good measure. Your spirit might also benefit from a good glass of wine, a warm bath, a good book and/or a new pedicure, mileage may vary
Step 4, arm yourself with holy water (stay hydrated ladies) and stay in shape just in case ya lil ghost crawls out the grave to give you a ‘wus good’ - remember, we run from demons and walk with God/the Universe! 😌✨

Been there ghosted by a man who claimed to have loved me…. then one day he did the Houdini… vanished, disappeared…closed the door and welded it shut. Is it all guys who just text now? I’m so disappointed by how lack lastre dating is these days. How can I take someone seriously if all I get is texts. Unimpressed.
Part is technology, so no fault there. It's like saying I can't do it if he doesn't call from a rotary phone or having a vcr vs streaming. I think we wrap it up in standards, but is it really a standard? If phone communication is important to you, communicate that at the beginning. It's really that simple he could prefer texting for convenience and assume you do the same. I have gone through periods where I hate texting and others where I hate talking. Allow that they can feel the same. The person I am now talking to navigates this well. He prefers to talk, I don't prefer to text, but sometimes don't want to talk. It works with compromise. It grows on me because of him. With others it's sometimes different.
Most importantly communicate. If they get to twitching and flopping because you prefer to speak, you already know and we feel the resistance even when we don't say it out loud. 😉

I'm new here. You make some really valid points. I would like to add what I call the "faders". I talked to a guy that once I established my standards and basically broke down that he wasn't offering anything tangible and in return wanted me to be a sex doll gf, all the "checking on you" text and calls stopped and went back to a standard "good morning" just to have some sort of contact. They don't totally leave, but the whole vibe switches up. You got to block the faders too...
Oh wow you said a mouthful. I had this exact thing happen to me today. I told him my standards up front, and he went so hard in the beginning. He was desperately trying to have sex with me, but it was a turn off for me. I'm not giving my body to just anyone. I know who I am. I told him that we need to get to know each other more. It’s the little things that add up/ whether it’s a friendship, situationship or relationship. If you have been honest about what you need to feel comfortable and connected and their behavior continuously disregards that- it is time to validate your needs, don’t fall into gaslighting yourself into thinking you are too needy or if you feel pressured into lowering your personal values /standards to be in/ maintain relationship... Keep it moving.

I need advise on a situation. I also spoke to my therapist about my behavior. I keep gravitating to a man that does this.
1. We only speak on social media app.. never spoke to him on the phone. We don't have each other number.
2. I am the one that reaches out first.
Texts was heavy on his end, then stopped
3. He love bombed me with Queen, sweetheart, etc. Then put us meeting on hold because he said I have things at home to focus on. After telling him slot was going on.
3. Conversations are short. He busy working out, napping, cutting grass etc

He's not interested. If he is always busy he probably doesn't want to talk to YOU and probably giving his attention to someone or something else. Don't wait for more signs. Date more men who will reciprocate.

Seems like things I've already said before is already in the comments so there's not much to comment 😂 but I will say another red flag for me is when you both start off communicating, its consistent, both are texting/calling etc. Then all of a sudden the other person stops and leave you on read. I believe that's a “you gone have to chase me” mechanism and that's when I “fall back” because the ball is in your court. It's too many double standards. If you apply interest after they stop texting/calling you first only “OUT OF CONSIDERATION AND UNDERSTANDING 🤧 then they say you're desperate, clingy, needy, etc. But when you do the opposite and not continue to engage after they were the ones who clearly stopped being consistent and leave the ball in their court because you refuse to let someone groom you to accept less or to feel comfortable doing most of the work then you're mean, detached, cold, unavailable etc. Like it's too many people got they mouth on how relationships is suppose to go but nobody really knows in order to make sure that what you abide by is consistent and not a double standard. 🫤🙄🤦🏾♀️ I enjoyed the video. 👍🏾

I'm a fan of ghosting. Sometimes the break-up conversation causes more questions than it answers and I'm not trying to spend anymore time talking. Sometimes it's easier to get over the break-up when anger is the motivator. If I get ghosted, I don't get mad. If the thrill is gone, why would I want to try to save the relationship?
If she is reaching out, then she deserves an explanation. You can then put your foot down about no contact.

But the method leaves the other person in an uncomfortable and unnatural pain especially considering that this was the same person who was giving you a chance in the first place. So their concerns are valid. Like are you in hospital or in prison or alive. If you want to hear from them it's usually just to have peace before you move on which is a sign of emotional maturity and responsibility. I also want to add if it's not degrading but still critical I can take it.... I would prefer to better myself and know if I did something "wrong" or "unattractive " and I would consider changing or bettering myself. In respect to you. Not for you but for myself... I’d love to talk to you on this topic because there’s a totally different way it was done. Great comparison with sports that’s true. However in my situation what you explained it was not the same. At all!! Lol, I had to fall back and not talk to him even though we valued our strong foundation. I did it to salvage what little bit of a friendship we could have to leave it in a healthy manner. I’ve been ghosted and the not knowing didn’t allow me to heal. So yes, I stopped talking to him for reasons he knows. After knowing someone for over 5 years and because I had a serious conversation with him I realize he stop texting/ calling/ not answering my message but reading them🤔So I have decided to let him go these pass 3 months. @@marcellamarie7684 Good Morning to you! No we are not married but I thought by knowing each other for so long things will of fall into place. We had many conversations and I was able to bring up different topics. The pass month as been different he has step up his game and answering my messages plus come around more often.
