I simply love the fact that PMDG simulates that glitch. I would've never known it was a thing, these little details help ever so much in the pursuit of knowing Boeing 737ng

You can consider to make a tutorial for a double engine failure on cruise?

Testing only on real pilots, is not good idea, as they only go in correct way. Yes, we need them, to check correct behavior, but we also need computer gamers to check wrong ways. I am working in software developer company, and when we test our user interface, we usually ask people of other department to use our interface without guides. They know overall picture of project, so they can guess what they suppose to do, and we look on system behavior? it should not crash, it should not do horrible things, it should say to user about wrong actions.

Hello. If Simbrief calculates 2 step climbs for me, what should I do to make the plane start climbing on its own at the appropriate points in the flight plan? Do I need to change anything in FMC? For example, I have the first flight level FL330, at some point it will start to climb to FL340 and after some time to FL350. After entering the flight plan from simbrief to pmdg on LEGS, I only have level FL330. What should I do to make the plane start to climb on its own to FL340 and then to FL350 at the appropriate points?

The 737 is not able to do automatic step climbs, neither is any other airliner to my knowledge. Imagine what would happen if the plane started climbing all on its own without an ATC clearance.

@@A330Driver But there are so-called restrictions introduced in LEGS. For example, you can assign an appropriate restriction to a given waypoint according to the OFP flight plan (e.g. FL340) and then the VNAV will automatically start climbing at the appropriate moment.
