Jeff, r.i.p rock god. You are the only man who truly played music I could 100% relate too, I will forever miss watching you do what you did best. Gone but never forgotten, jeff, your legacy will live on forever. 😭
Hard to believe someone with this much talent was taken so young. He is definitely someone who will be immortalized through his music. His soul lives on.
Jeff Healey kicks ass. He is one of the best guitarists out there.why you weren't more widely known I have no clue. you were great. RIP Jeff. You will be missed.
Soooo… this comment I just read. Due to, I wen to Jeff Healy concert. Apparently, lost him in 2008😮😢! Here I am finding out in f’n 2023?! We lost him in 2008. ? .. Jesus Christ! Okay. Okay. I listen to his music in 80s, early 90s. I just figured this out today.. that’s dumb for me and stupid life! 🤬
Man, this song......this is just what I felt (and feel) looking into my wife's eyes....have not been married that long....only 40 years this year....where does time go? What he says concerning love is so true......
I remember listening to Jeff at the Brunswick house in Toronto. I believe it was back in the spring of 1988. It was an all inspiring time for me because I’ve never seen anybody like him before. I come from a small town in northern Ontario, so to be in the big city and experience something like this was quite the thrill. I stood before Jeff and watched him singing his heart out. I swore he was going to melt. We were upstairs & it was so warm in that place, but he just kept on going. I could’ve reached out and touched him. I was so close to where he was sitting on his stool. The thought crossed my mind, but I didn’t want to startle him. I wish I had said something to him. And I really enjoyed his music, though I don’t remember what he was singing because it was 35 years ago. But I shall never forget him and his beautiful presence! ❤️
This song had so much meaning to me growing up...in high school a guy that I liked so much rejected me, and I would listen to this song and cry and scream the words, "Guess I understand it, guess I sorta have to." Glad my heart has healed, but still love this song.
He was the total package! Had a unique voice, could play the hell out of a guitar and was good looking. He may sing about seeing but he's so good at one point you kinda forget he's blind. Amazing man.
I get lost in the guy I'm deeply in love with and totally get lost when I look in his eyes his soul and the most gorgeous smile he has and melt where I stand sit or lay and this guy I love is lost somewhere else but not with me
This song meant so much to my heart as a young girl and now as grown woman it still speaks to my heart. This one song said everything I felt about one guy and when I listen it now it still brings those feelings back. Some music can touch the heart and Jeff's music could always do just that. Thanks Jeff for the memories and you will always be missed.

BEST TOM PETTY COVER EVER!
Light from a window
Cold dark and black
Sound from a dream
I was hypnotized
I was paralyzed
I could hardly speak
And baby
Baby
You never realized
That
I could have stood there lost in your eyes
Stood there waiting
And not realized
Love isnt easy
It isnt always kind
I could have stood there
Lost in your eyes
Guess I understand it
Guess I sort of have to
Guess I knid of see
Just because it could have been
Doesnt mean it had to
Ever mean a thing
And baby
Baby
I could say it all the time
That
I could have stood there lost in your eyes
Stood there waiting
And not realized
Love isnt easy
It isnt always kind
I could have stood there
Lost in your eyes
and you know sometimes I wonder
Yes I wonder
I really really do
Ya yes I do
Just because it helps me
Though sometimes it scares me
Guess you wouldnt know
No you wouldnt know
Guess I understand it
Guess I sort of have to
Guess I kind of see
Just because it could have been
Doesnt mean it had to
Ever mean a thing
And baby
Baby
You never realized
I could have stood there lost in your eyes
Stood there waiting
And never realized
Love isnt easy
It isnt always kind
I could have stood there
Lost in your eyes
You know
I could have stood there
Ya ya ya ya
Lost in your eyes
Lost in your eyes
Lost in your eyes
Lost in your eyes
Lost in your eyes
Lost in your eyes
Lost in your eyes
..to fade.......
Thanks
This is not his song.
Thank you!
