Botch - "Thank God for Worker Bees"

The first (and probably only) DJ to play Botch on alternative commercial radio was @djmarcocollins . He hosted @1077theend’s “The Young and the Restless,” the weekly locals-only show which was an awesome place to hear up-and-coming bands. Pretty sure one of us mailed a copy of “American Nervoso” to the station and we had a friend call in to request the song in some ridiculous fake voice. Hearing our weird, fucked-up song on the radio was a complete mind-scramble to us kids from Tacoma and I’m only assuming Marco felt the same way during the opening minute of deafening noise and screaming 😂 Marco continued to be a big Botch supporter into the “Romans" years and it was always a thrill to hear our little band on the radio. 📻
