Try swiping up on it one time and then close it on the x
yeah - same thing for me - I mean - I saw you do it lol - I did the update from yesterday for Google Earth... maybe that just doesn’t work - there’s got to be a setting...
ok - figured it out - it depends on how specific the place is. If you go to “SFO” for the airport - it stops the animation. If you use say “Sydney NSW” - which has the “points of interest” at the bottom of the tips - it doesn’t stop the animation. I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the points of interest link under the main tip pop up. Might be a bug but at least we know how to avoid it :)

I am still not getting this to work. When I close the box the animation stops regardless of how non-specific I am in the search window.

Nice tutorial. When I make these sorts of maps I like to also animate the airplane icon making it quite small at the beginning and larger in the middle of the journey and small again prior to arrival. This gives the effect of altitude and gives it that extra touch of animation. Easily done with keyframing. Cheers!
good, but what if I need to also show the path also....
Every time i cancel the call out that pops from the right side of the screen it cancels the simulated flight path mid flight. Not sure how to stop all that.

Yea, you can either draw one in affinity photo or make a line shape layer and animate it as best as you can. This might be tricky to get smooth, but working around that to see if i can make a free template if it which is convenient to adjust position wise
RobHK Vlogs Thank you! Actually after watched your video. I did some work and on a world map picture I drew an arrow and then I put it on timeline and used masking/cropping with keyframe. The arrow follow the plane very well 😁. However still trying to do it on 3d earth globe video. Havent succeeded yet

Så kommer den lyden i slutten på klippet før klippet du muter. Ganske irriterende. Er det en bug i lumafusion?

Hey, I have a question. I work for a small Travel Company. We do UA-cam Videos about Cruises. I would like to use Google Earth Studio in our Videos to show Destinations etc. But I cant find a definitive answer if im allowed to when i give atribution. Since we are a company im not sure if i just can use Google Earth Studio just by credeting google.
Google earth is a public tool. Doubt that there’s restrictions. As for google studio or earth studio you need to apply and i think you will be prompted with that option there
