thanks SO much! my dad used to teach table tennis, so he bought a table for us to practice on, but every time I bring the ball too high, he just smashes me and leaves me with a red circle on my arm or hip. Now I can get him back!
For traditonal loopers this is a correct approach for a forehand smash. For me, I am a forehand short pips player and honestly, I never smash high like that. I go four inches above next height, at the top of the bounce, and the result is a much faster smash (significantly so). Unfortunately, not every shot in a rally can be smashed otherwise everyone would use short pips.
@@NickRudd I started when I turned six, so same year (2016), but we didn't have a table, and my dad quit teaching, so I finally restarted last year. :)
Hope you enjoyed! What shot should I make a tutorial on next?
Please how to lift effectively

Please can you do chopping?😅
@@Banane925 I’ll make a video soon!
Forehand. Cross court with extreme angle. Ball lands close to net and table edge on opponent side.
