I felt the same way after my first HIIT workout. I went to a new barbell gym for a semi private class thinking we'd be doing some strength training, but instead I got my ass kicked and embarrassed myself in front of a bunch of 120 pound girls 😂

I’ve been watching this channel for a while and this is the first time I’ve seen that much sweat on Larry. Cardio is really his nemesis. Good job though!
It's amazing to see how athletic Larry looks like, along with his strength and then to watch him doing HITT and looking like a complete novice. Just shows you how one training adaptation, doesn't necessarily carry over to others. You gotta incorporate some form of cardio, at whatever level to be a more complete athlete.

@@LarryL3g3nd Cardio helps tho. It helps makes your heart stronger so it can do it's job of pumping blood easier. You wouldn't gas out faster too.. You can do your workout longer since your energy won't deplete easily..

Hahaha.. I completely understand the pain you went through. I've been doing only strength training since I was 15. The feeling of losing your strength, feeling a little bit dizzy, gassing out only after a 5 minute cardio session. I went through that too😂.
Last year after moving from another city, I got into this new gym and hired a personal trainer. Turns out he was a pro kickboxer. The first 2 months, our workout sessions consists of 80% cardio and 20% strength training..
First 14 days was painful😂 However, after a month tho, my cardio levels improved considerably.. I can workout for 2 hours straight with only a slight energy decrease. Insane.
After 2 months, it got even better.. We would throw in a 30 min kickboxing session after an hour of strength training and I didn't even feel tired a bit.. Sometimes even after all of that I was still full of energy so I would hop on a stationary bike and pedal it hard for 30 minutes with 6% incline while keeping the RPM at 80%..
I swear I wanna see you focus on cardio for a month. You would be a beast..

Larry I don't know if you will see this. Don't give up cardio. It's like every other discipline, the first time is the hardest. I can relate to the pain. The heart is like every muscle, you will learn to listen to it and know when to relax during your exercice. And I think that going swiming on a regular basis will help to retrive your breath.

3x full body a, b and a kettlebell workout with circuit training, gives you time to be able to have 2-3x pure condition days.

As a weightlifter myself, cardio is a myth.
He’s so heavy tho . Way harder to love a body his size like this . Even me at 210 it’s harder than the pencils
@@jondoc7525 Its how you train - my buddy and I do 45mins of cardio before we hit heavy weights and we both can take off running around a track with no problem - he's 6'4 280 and I'm 5'11 220 - its all how you train - you have to train your heart - Larry gets very winded really fast - heck look at Thor and Eddie Hall - they train and they have size and good wind

@@denaliking6426 there is still better ways to do things for certain goals . Running 45 min before will blow out your glycogen and you prolly can’t get as good of a pump . I do cardio when I’m done so I can max the weights out . I do like 10-20 min before to get to temperature .
