- Triumph say it has a "track focus" but how is it on the street and how do the numbers compare to other "track focused" machines?

His reviews are really good, right to the point and asking the right questions. Seems like a lot of thought has gone into the research, videoing and production quality. Great job as always, loving those stat prompts👍👍
I've owned about 100 different street bikes from GSXR's to BMW's, and IMO the RR would make a great commuter and weekend 200-mile bike. Well done, Triumph.
exactly what im looking for...just a little old for a fireblade lol..
It's hard to find bikes to compare to the RR but I never thought of it as a race replica superbike. There is nothing else quite like it really. Triumph bills it as the ultimate sport bike for the road. Mine feels like a smooth, comfortable, great handling, modern cafe racer with stonking 177hp engine. It will do the around town stuff just fine and it can crush the boring highway stuff but the bike is wasted there. It's most at home carving canyons and attacking long high speed sweepers. That's when it all comes alive and it will hang with anything made. In it's element, it's the best bike I've ever ridden.
Thanks Scott for another great review of this beautiful badboy! Very tasteful machine!
Nice bike and great review. cheers Scott
Great reviews! Amazing charts too, very good idea!
I love the color on this one❤🔥
Nice review Scott,
Although I am not into sport bikes I have to say that the RR is an interesting bike for sure
Thanks for the fun
I love the triumph... Nice sound... Nice engine. 👍
Amazing review, thanks so much, subscribed and Merry Christmas.
I'd take this over any sports bike for the road 😍
This is such a pretty bike I want to buy one just to have it. Pull it out and ride it on special occasions.
Great review :)
Great review Scott, absolutely beautiful bike to look at wish Triumph made it more comfortable to ride.👍
This bike is very comfortable
Scott
Picked mine up today!!! Same color too! The wasp stinger needs to go with a tail tidy install. It will look beautiful next to my 2017 Thruxton R in Silver Ice paint and it's cafe racer fairing. Now I just have to go through the break-in crap......
Oh you lucky son of a gun! Congrats!
@@SirClaes Thanks man! It's the only one that will be in New England until 2024! I traded my 2020 Tiger 1200 XCX for the new 2023 GT Explorer to come in. Maybe in Late July. It will be the first one in New England for sure. Thanks again.
slick very slick
Nice bike
I would just have this bike as a fixture in my living room or perched in some glass box overhanging an indoor waterfall or something. If money were no object lol! Great review!
Great video. To bad they don’t make this bike with the RS Bar and riding position
What a gorgeous machine, although the exhaust could be prettier! You look nice on this bike too :)
Great review! I also wait my one. There is a number wrong on superbike list. The 1200RR is 180ps not 108ps.
I love your review style on this channel. Do you have any other channels you would recommend? Or, if anyone else who watches this channel has recommendations, please let me know!
Hi Scott, love your videos!
But: the muffler holder seems to be mounted incorrectly with the cross struts running into the void. 😉
Man I wish a have your job!
Triumph should imo make a roadster version of the Speed Triple - maybe drop suffixes or just have an S after the name. More like Speed Twin ergos than the wrist breaker RS and RR for the more mature and easy going crowd.
+1 for that and I think that might come in the future. It makes sense for Triumph to utilise the best of the RR onto a wider range of bikes where possible, to enhance its product offerings.
In my own view the RR has a limited shelf life in the face of an aging morotbike riding market. The appeal of drop bars is limited by practical considerations. And they want to sell bikes right?
Maybe it's function was to make a splash then we may see things like it's suspension trickle down onto 'lesser' models and the drop bars replaced by straight and a less retro/ reworked fairing.
But it's interesting to watch how this will play out as Triumph has got a great platform to build upon.
However, the current bike seems outgunned by its peers at superbike level, isn't it more akin to its street bike competitors? A street bike with a fairing!
There is a „Zahlendreher“ at the PS-sheet. The Triumph has 180 and not 100.
Hi there, thank you for the reviews! I have been thinking of selling the 1290 Superduke for perhaps this bike. Since you have ridden both I’d thought I’d ask your input. I ride aggressively in the canyons mainly. Thank you much!
Thank you. What is the year of your SDR? That will depend on my answer 😁 If it's the 2020 or newer SDR, then no don't trade for this. Older Duke...then maybe 👍 The Duke will be easier to ride in the canyons regardless of year and this will do better on a track day. This will do better on smaller more technical corners and smoother roads, like track day conditions and the SDR will do better on typical every day road surfaces, that are not perfect. The WP suspension is very hard to beat on the road, even with Öhlins on the Speed Triple.
take care,
Scott
I appreciate your insight on both bikes! I have a 2020 Superduke 1290, the one with the manual suspension and not the Evo.
Sounds like they both serve different purposes dependent on the riding environment. Thanks again!
oleen sounds better haha, great review as usual
In germany it is spelled ÖÖööhlins. Öööö. Not uuuu. Nice review, as always. Dank Dir.
Yea I know, I just can't say that sound, my German wife teases me all the time about it 😜
Btw, Öhlins is a Swedish brand ;)
truımph saıd tht its a road sports bike is it comfortble enough for 300 km trips ?
I am a Triumph fan boy. I don't think Triumph will sell many of these. They should have given the Speed Triple 1200RS the upgrade rather than create a whole new Marmite looking bike.
😯😮😲-leeeeans...get it right boys! ✌️😁
Hello sir
Myself Arpit bahuguna from India i watched your maximum videos and i really liked it.
M planning to buy a cruiser 1200 cc and i interested in triumph bobber 1200. Will you plz give the detailed information of its 2022 model black?
What do you mean his maximum videos ? And what information are you looking for on the bike ? You’re asking him for quite a lot of info without specifying. Might be helpful to be more specific if possible.
@@Fee.1 don't worry sir he gonna reply me shortly.
@@arpitbahuguna413 right, I wouldn’t advise holding your breath though. Check out Triumph’s website for “detailed information” on the 2022 Bobber, it’s crazy to ask someone to give you all of that information in the comments below a UA-cam video…just pull up the spec sheet
Sir have you driven bobber 1200 do you have a detailed pro and cons.
That's the main thing I want. Website have already checked it.
If I go to showroom and take test drive that is not sufficient.
I complete professional video I need hope that help.
Hi is this ok for touring?
Well, you can tour on anything but if you do on this then your wrists, neck, back and knees will have a problem, in other words, I wouldn't personally. But if I were 20 years old, then sure! 😁
@@NothingToProve thanks man I'm near 40s now probably no go. How bout the RS? I've watch your review on the rs but that was a long time ago maybe it would be different now that you tested alot more bikes?.also considering SS but value for money spec wise triumph has more features
Yea, the RS is a much more upright riding position, just a slight lean forward, 3-5° lean forward, it's a naked 👍😁
Where is this filmed? If you were driving on the left I would say England.
Germany, where they drive on the correct side of the road LOL!!
@@NothingToProve 😁
This or a Tuono?
Oh, easy, Tuono v4, very easy decision for me.
I think Triumph are marketing this as a road bike?
Review aside that laughing tells me everything about that bike !!
How to make a comfortable bike uncomfortable, looks nice though
3:19 Edit: should be 180 not 108
Oh, that's a typo the 8 & 0 are switched, it should be 180ps, not 108.
Thank you,
Scott
@@NothingToProve ah ok that makes perfect sense, thanks!
I like this Bike except it's European and will last only short term 😀
Nice machine. Just not for me. 👍
