whatever you wanna say about their RMA, the products are top notch.. ive build 3 computers in my life, every time gigabyte aorus stuff, never had a problem (and the oldest of those pcs still works in my son's room). Right now i own an 4080 super from gigabyte and you can tell at first look they make it foolproof with the support bracket and cutout in radiator for power connector so it always has that 30mm clearance.
Miss EVGA so much. Had a 850w platinum power supply fail in the 8th year of 10 year warranty. They called me to ask of it was ok to replace it with a 1000w platinum and got it two days later. Something tells me this kind of support wont happen with even Gigabyte.
The cracking mostly happened on prebuilds that were handled incorrectly during shipping. Since then they have re-enforced the part that cracked and in the case of the 4080 and 4090 WindForce moved the 12vhpwn connector the front of the card. I have the 4090 and zero coil whine unlike the Asus Strix which are infamous for it.
@@Machistmo yea, that's how I found out that the PCB was "damaged" fried. All of this happened 2 weeks ago to so really recent. They said the PCB was not covered under warranty and were sending it back but luckily I asked support if I could return it and they said I could since I was still within the return window. FORK MSI what's the point of warranty of their shit is faulty 😂😂
If Gigabyte sees this, I want to see a flagship XOC Gigabyte GPU, equivalent to a Kingpin/Matrix/Lightning card, maybe even partner with Bitspower, Alphacool, or Heatkiller for a waterblocked version of that flagship. The departure of EVGA left a hole in this niche.
I have a 3060 gaming, and its been great. I'm also waiting on a company to update me on a full build order that includes a 4070 ti super eagle. However I am thinking of cancelling the order because its taking way too long, can get it faster from somewhere else with better items. In which I'd get a 4070 ti super gaming.
Did Gigabyte fix their pcb? Cause it was problematic. If they fixed it then it's a very solid choice for a gpu. If not then i'm not even considering it.
Yes, at least on the Windforce in the V2 4090 and 4080. That area is re-enforced now and also moved the 12vhpwr connector to the front and no issues with bending cables. Also zero coil whine on the Windforce V2.
30 series Gigabytes were hot garbage... literally on the hot part. While they were not alone, the thermal pads were not the right size and not present everywhere needed which led to thermal throttling right out of the box.
I've had Gigabyte cards since the 1070, then a 1080 TI, then 2070, then a 3080 and now a 4090. Never had an issue with any of them.
me with an aorus 4090 master that i just bought last month coming here to remove any doubts or regrets
no coil whine?
@@Brick-rw1yo other than the worst software ever. card runs / performs perfectly. never above 60c no noise
Please do this for every popular brand for newcomers like me, this was very helpful
Have a Gigabyte 3080ti and 4090 Aero. Absolutely no issues.

I'm about to get the gaming oc 4080 super for the 4y warranty. Probably getting replaced sooner than 4y but warranty=higher resale price.
Been looking at getting a new gpu and decided on gigabyte, but was confused on all the different models. Thanks for explaining it!
Why did you leave out that Gigabyte Gaming are built with better vrm chips?

I hope they gave you cables with it 😂
@@AshtonCoolman lol did they do this to you? I got a brand new sealed box power supply with everything.
They crack and IF they crack - Gigagbyte will refuse to warranty their card.

My MSI 4070 Super gaming x slim MLG fried itself after 2 weeks of normal use and light gaming. 😂😂
@@yoshi9484 did they rma for you?

@@flaccus123 It's a mistake to go with anything less than Gigabyte Gaming, Windofrce are always build with cheaper vrmchips

I would love to see this again but with Asus and their convoluted line of Strix, Tuf, Rampage, Maximus, and Crosshair for their products.

Gigabyte is my favourite company in terms of gaming ❤
Whats the best gpu can i get for 1k? Amd or Nvidia?
AMD
7900 xtx
4080 super will be your best bet
Nvidia or AMD cards does not matter, the gigabyte wind force cards run hot.

asus and msi only for me
My Windforce 3060 has terrible fan noise. Never buying another gigabyte GPU again. Gonna buy reliable brands for 50 series high-end
Not to mention terrible stock hotspot temps so I had to re-paste after a year
Does anyone know if you can disable the RGB on the Gaming 4080 Super?
EVGA is bae.
gigabyte customer support anywhere but Asia and the US sucks
They have 1 ugly GPU eagle 🦅

Will end at Northridge for repairing 😂 Thanks Nvidia for that 😂
more AMD cards in that pile
Had 10 cards not one issue
