I noticed that you had a gear level well above most of the bosses when fighting them, at least for Terah the geomancer. Would it be possible to get a video on how to fight them when our level is at or below them? Because that's seemingly when most of us will be going after them.
Yeh that's true this was mainly a showcase of the bosses rather than a tutorial (although a lot we're done at gear-appropriate level) but I'll happily work on more realistic combat situations - thanks for the request! 👍💯
Use the axe second throw attack when she spawn her mini white golems in order to kill them almost instantly. You can avoid her backhand pimp slap in golem form by simply staying close to her back. I used the chaos volley spell in order to do some damage from range when my defense ability is in cooldown (the heal parry one), when its active I go in for melee being agressive using the axe first ability that gives you more attack speed. When she goes underground in golem form and starts spewing rocks everywhere dont try to attack simply concentrate on dodging if you attack during that time you will get hit. Lastly try to get a good blood % for rogue as in it will give you more movement speed if your having a hard time avoiding her attacks without having to use the dodge.

The bosses are always higher level than you are able to kill in this game. For example I need to unlock gem grinder to upgrade my weapons but to get it the boss I have to kill won't die.
In the Bear fight (only one I watched because I am having issue solo'ing him) you have a back step ability, I know the spacebar dash, but you seem to have a little back/side dodge, how do you do that? :)

Oh so you are just rematching them after already unlocking their recipe, powers and armaments..... anyone know how to beat octavian as a lvl 61?
I did it on the second try, though barely. Used Merciless Iron Reaper, Chaos Bolt, and the defense spell you get from Nicholas the Fallen that spawns skeletons. Was usefull for distraction and especially against the Archers he spawns. Still a tough fight though.
hey man i just killed Frostmaw the Mountain Terror, an it unlock a scroll recipe. for the life of me i cant find what you make the scrolls in, if you could help me that would be great!
is it the study?
So you need to kill Nicholaus the Fallen to unlock the study, then your scroll recipes are researched there. You find the study under the "Research" tab of the "Production" build menu and takes paper, planks, copper, and grave dust to build. It's also massive so make sure you have the space lol
The recipe is for the paper press, its a random unlock from the study
Hmm the two last ones really are the only ones of interest for a below or equal gear rating score tbh.
They are a bit of a hurdle (a nice challenge) to solo then. Since most will be stuck at or below that GS for a fair bit of time then. In any group setting it shouldn't matter though.
I'm slowly increasing my gear level and trying the mountain terror. At 57 was easier but no joy. Going to try tomorrow at 59 and see if there's a difference
@@BlackoutGamingChannel I see the Terror as more of a hurdle than Octavian. The ice/snow mechanics along with location seems like a massive pain. I figure finding the optimal place to fight would be necessary.. Heh yeah I tried at gs50-53 with buffs and got wrecked, that said impatience had me try it at a daft spot.
@@o.w.i.m I think the biggest issue is how fast it is which makes it very difficult to kite in any meaningful way. I'm experimenting with different skill combos and strategies but so far I've managed only 50% HP

I had hoped that it could work as inspiration to figure out how to beat some of the bosses. Sadly, your using a OP character with most fights, which is less useful. Still useful for help.

@@BlackoutGamingChannel I did. It was the bear and nicholaus. Your bear fight helped a lot with him. Technically your video helped with Nicholaus. In the sense, I skipped him for the bandit king, then came back with iron.

How about actually showing strategies for fighting at appropriate level. 70 vs most of these is a breeze and not really helpful with showing mechanics for level appropriate combat.
Because this is a showcase not a tutorial
try to kill all the bosses on the same levels, the only way you will feel all the pain

So this was recorded during testing and the server only had about 1h before going offline so I didn't really have the time to progress the game further. Now I'm taking it all in my stride
You didnt do these bosses in the order you're showing... You have abilities at Rufus that you don't get from the first two. Enjoyed the vid though...
So what? This footage was taken during the closed beta testing and the servers were all over the place. I wasn't doing it on public release. Glad you enjoyed the video though

It was a showcase and not a tutorial, and if you pay attention the majority of the bosses were level appropriate gear so....
But you fight this bosses after already killing them. This is not helpful at all. I want to know how to kill them solo for the FIRST time.
frost maw 70 show us bosses while skull wau harder or red names
this is like valheim. every boss you kill with arrows or spells in here. why do you have 5-6 weapons...well, one for stone, one for bushes, one for wood. facepalm.
I killed all bosses with the same gear level or lower. So you are a chicken 😂
You have too high tier lvl equipement for bosses, there is nothing interesting inthere.
